SMSTS Course
After successfully completing a SMSTS course with Knight Learning 2 months on I still do not have any certification from CITB. After raising this with Knight Learning they blamed it on a processing error and told me to be patient. However, now 2 months from completion it seems that Knight learning subcontracted the training to another provider who are under a neutral investigation hence the delay, and are taking no responsibility for the issue.
*Knight Learning are a broker and do not deliver training themselves* which is very deceiving and not clear when you sign up to their courses. Prior to booking and having many questions there was no mention they simply contract out training and are NOT a learning provider. Once you have paid upfront you will receive confirmation from another company called MHS learning and then all correspondence prior to the course is from Knight Learning until the course itself starts. You then find out you are with a totally different learning provider. Very disappointing and based on my experience I would not recommend this company. I have been left with no qualification after taking a week off to complete their course, which also equals no work as I still do not have any valid certification. To date they remain aggressive and unprofessional as per their response to this review, and refuse to take accountability for the issue even though they took payment for the course.

18/02/26 Still no certification received 3 months from sitting the course, although CITB have confirmed to me Knight Learning and their course providers are subject to investigation.

An update to our previous reply. We have been advised by your training provider that your qualification details have been successfully updated to the online citb card checker. Your training provider has emailed you directly to inform you of this and so have we.
I would add we also called you yesterday to try to support you but did not get an answer on the phone. We are trying to help you, so please feel free to get in touch.
As per your review, this review should be for a different organization. Your course was booked correctly by us and from information received from you, also delivered correctly to you by the 3rd party independent provider. The provider has reached out to you with an update and requested for you to be patient. Furthermore, during your course, you received a course delegate form to complete which you completed - this was sent to you by the provider with the provider’s details on this. In addition to this you were sent e-learning materials and course test from the independent provider with their details displayed.
As your booking agent, we play an active role in ensuring you are provided the service for the course you have booked and can support where required.
Please do log into the online card checker where we have been advised your details regarding your successful completion has been logged.

The site was very easy to use very clear. The fact that there wasn't a massive rush of pressure to have it all finished within a couple weeks help be able to be able to upload evidence when I had time in between work and life outside of work, my assessor was great he was always there to give advice and help me when I needed.

Stay away!!
I had my SSSTS refresher course booked on 22.11.2025(saturday),spent the whole day on the course via Zoom platform,took the test at the end. At the end my tutor told me I have past the test with 90% points and just to confirm with him i asked twice and i can leave the Zoom platform . Next day Sunday around 12 o`clock I had 2 missed calls from unkown number (my tutor from the exam) and a text after that i should call him immediatly because he has some news. Apparently i failed the test because THE INTERNAL AUDITORS PICKED UP AN ERROR. The audacity, the incompetence from this guy ... I`ve spent £165 so at the end to be ripped off money and qualification certificate. STAY AWAY FROM THEM !!!! RIP-OFFS!1

I believe some of your feedback may be based on a misunderstanding. As your booking agent, we correctly arranged your place on the course you selected, which you attended in full. In doing so, we provided the service you purchased. The course itself was delivered by an approved training organisation, which operates independently from us. We have spoken with them to clarify the concerns you raised.
We understand that you narrowly failed your initial test and were then offered a completely free re-sit by the training provider. This was a goodwill gesture, as they were under no obligation to provide the re-sit at no cost. Unfortunately, you did not pass the re-sit either. The training provider has explained that they mistakenly informed you that you had passed, and subsequently contacted you to correct this error and confirm the actual result.
We are sorry for the confusion caused by this miscommunication at the end of your re-sit. However, the final result is accurate. As you have been unsuccessful on two attempts, it would not be appropriate to attribute this outcome to anyone else.
