Like others have said, when things go wrong you pay the price. Got given some Chinese company tracking number from them that does nothing. Been over a week since they gave it me and its not updated once just the same “unavailable” - you email them and they dont reply. Looking like il have to wait another few days and get my bank to open a case. Absolute joke how people promote these companies online for a free item. They brand themselves like its some premium uk e bike company when its just all the same aliexpress stuff some of it marked up some not. So realistically just stick to ebay you have better options for when things go wrong.

Order a throttle and a pas sensor following an order for one of there programmable controllers.
It’s says on the website that these new controllers are light weight. Ha ha they way the same as a house brick. Very hard to attach to ur bike. They say they ship from the uk infact they ship from china and they use the worse pirate carrier company’s going that seem to keep loosing parcels. There is a ebike company called electrified motors. They are 100% never had a problem with anything from them guys

Ordered 2 kits, both with batteries.
Took a little longer than anticipated to arrive, but did eventually. Installation is fairly simple, but just be mindful of the bike you are putting them on. We put them on mid-range trail bikes and after a few little tweaks was on. Things to note. You WILL need to upgrade your chain to an e-bike one.
Our bikes were both 12-speed, and we are unable to use the first 2 or 3 gears as there is too much of a stretch on the chain, so really better suited to either 9 or 10-speed bikes.

Overall performance has been excellent, very punchy motor and hitting 100 km on a full charge exceeded our expectations, so awarding 5 stars!

Bought a motor kit online. Followed the instructions to the letter. Unfortunately when it came to sorting the battery out it wasn't working. Luckily I have some tools to check and it turned out all the cells in the battery were dead. What kind of joke operation is this. Tried to speak with Jason who said he'd get back to me but never replied. Joke company. I'm well aware that this company is associated with Andy Kirby the conman who allegedly is trying to steal the MeshCore trademark. Wish I had known the background before buying. Stay away.

Bought the conversion kit last year for my Kona mountain bike. It’s been fantastic 30 mph no problems. Then recently it became restricted to 16mph. In the 08 setting, it displayed 16mph (top speed) which could not be adjusted. I emailed Jason and after several emails I got the problem fixed. If this happens to you - this is what the fault is and how you fix it = when you first switch on , press and hold the + button - on the display at the bottom if 250 is displayed then the speed limit is locked to 16mph , adjust this 250w to _ _ _ . Then in 08 setting the speed can be adjusted from 16mph to max.

I'm giving it 4 stars not 5 because the manual provided is not for the kit supplied .
With that said the YouTube instalation videos are top quality.The components are really high quality

Absolute scam company. Bought a battery and motor kit. Soon as I got the battery out of the box I could see it was bulging. No way I’m installing that. Try getting in touch with company and all I get is broken English from some Chinese guy. And then nothing. I should be grateful I didn’t install this as it is dangerous. Next person may not be so lucky. Deserves to be shut down. Andy Kirby is a scammer.

Total rip off just a Chinese rebrand I did not get what they advertised.

The attitude of this seller sucks, does not ship from the UK and get a issue and you are in for a nightmare IF you even get things resolved, stay well away

Spent 560£ on a kit that doesn’t work. The battery is bad and it took weeks to receive everything spread over 3 parcels. And I am still missing my battery mount. Not that it matters since it doesn’t work. The absolute worst customer service i have ever experienced

I paid £800 for a conversion kit to fit a mtb with the suggested 135 rear dropout. Still doesn’t fit. Brakes no longer fit. No returns and zero communication. They won’t answer emails and rarely answer on instagram. Zero after sales. Avoid. My son has wasted all of his money that he saved for a year

I should have written this before. Then I noticed that Trustpilot reviews of this company were not that good, and I thought it only fair that I give my tuppence worth to help balance things out.
SPOILER ALERT. I am very pleased with them.

I bought the ebike conversion kit for my Brompton. I must have watched the assembly video at least five times and I am glad I did. Even though there are only a few components, they have to be fitted correctly.
In the box was a replacement front wheel that housed the motor, battery, charger and various parts needed to get my bike to whoosh. I spent about an hour putting it all together, only to find that I had put the wheel back the wrong way round. Unless I wanted to spin backwards endlessly like a bike-riding clown at the circus, I'd better swap it back. Anyhoo, everything works. I only use my Brompton in fine weather, so here it is not that often. I was surprised, though. When I stored the bike away for winter, it was 50% charged. Over 8 months later, I switched on the bike, and it was still at 50%! If I ever needed help, the company was always available via email or Facebook. Support can be slow sometimes, but you always get it.

I brought two 1500w kits last year and apart from a worn bearing and a broken spoke in1 of the hubs after 2000 miles or so I can’t complain. I’ve had no problems with customer service they’ve replied to all my emails and been very helpful. If you have a problem just email them and you’ll be directed to WhatsApp where you can talk directly with customer service. Delivery can take 2 weeks, you receive controller and wheel first and the battery was delivered a week later. We’ve had a lot of fun with ours the bad reviews seem incorrect but interesting., Just Brought an upgrade.. ill give my next review 12 months.

Avoid at all costs, wish I had checked trust pilot before making order, everything is okay untill there is a problem, they sent me a used controller that was damaged, once I had taken photos and sent over they insisted it was a new controller. I promise you this controller was beaten, dented and poorly put together, yet Jason assured me it was new, spokes on bike came more bent than Louise Spence. Overall very poor experience dealing with them, safe to say I have learned my lesson and will never order from this site again. P.s the fact that dude stuff on YouTube basically endorses this company is not a good look for himself.

I had an issue with the battery with the 48 11amp hour battery, after 200 miles where it would not charge. they sent out a replacement charger free of charge! when receiving it, I realised that the battery was the issue. after returning they sent out a replacement and no issue since! Jason was a massive help.

Ik had een ebike kit besteld van kirbebike, 2000w kit 52v 20ah batterij. Het duurde 2,5 week voordat ik de ebike kit binnen kreeg. Ik had goed contact via de mail, eenmaal ebikekit binnen reageren ze nergens meer op.
Ik zal over paar jaar nog een review schrijven over de kwaliteit van de kit en/of de motor en batterij nog goed werkt.

Ordered a 29inch cassette wheel 500w motor.. they sent me a freewheel.. Not a good start.
Have tried contacting company via email and live messenger service no replies.
Have asked for a full refund as it is their fault in supplying incorrect goods to me.
I have to say that the quality of goods sent was poor.

I bought the 1500W kit in 2019. I am still using it to commute to work, and it has 6000 miles on it. Very reliable and good performance. Avg ~20mph, distance to work 27 miles. I charge at work and at home.
The item was delivered in good time, and has performed flawlessly through snow, rain, and hot summers.

Spent almost 4 weeks back and forthe emailing with their email in order to get a motor kit advertised as a "geared hub" and after 3 weeks of emailing back and forthe i was told they would be shipping a gearless kit for 3x the price you could buy it from china (from the same seller), They have chinese sellers working together to provide kits for their website that take atleast 4 weeks to arrive and charge you atleast 2x the orignal price with no warrenty or support to back it up, I do NOT Recommend buying from Kirb.
