OPEN YEAR ROUND Relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Centrally located on Lake Michigan (Little Bay de Noc) in Gladstone MI. Great location for day trips, we are an hour drive to: Manistique, Munising, Marquette, Menominee, Iron Mountain, Fayette, Kitch-iti-kipi, Pictured Rocks, AuTrain, Eben Ice Caves, Hiawatha National Forest, Island Resort & Casino. Little Bay De Noc is the Walleye fishing capital of the world. Many major fishing tournaments are hosted here. Walleye, Northern Pike, Salmon, Bass, Trout, Perch, and numerous other species. Fishing charters are available locally or you can fish from your boat or our dock. Bait shop and public boat launch is only 1.3 miles away from The Last Resort and less than a mile from The Little House. All rentals have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Clean, comfortable and fully furnished. The Last Resort Cottages have two queen beds and a full size sleeper sofa in each. The Little House has a King bed, Full bed and Queen sofa sleeper. All bedding and towels are provided. Just bring your food, drinks, and personal items. Call us if you have special needs, we will see what we can do. There are steps into all four rentals, so not wheelchair accessible. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, boating, swimming, ATVing, hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice fishing. Check our local info page for area businesses and events. The Last Resort Cottages can accommodate ONE boat (max 20 ft) for each cottage at our docks. Two vehicles max per cottage. If you are staying at The Little House, you can use kayaks, paddle boats, canoe at the lake BUT cannot dock a boat. The Last Resort cottages are dog friendly. We just ask that you clean up after them and don't leave your pets unattended as a courtesy to other guests. Sorry, cannot allow cats or rabbits due to allergies. NO PETS ALLOWED AT THE LITTLE HOUSE. Kayaks, Paddle Boats, Canoe, Firepits, Charcoal Grills & Docks are not available Nov 1st - May 15th at The Last Resort. Firepit, Hot Tub & Sauna are available year round at The Little House. The perfect cabin for any UP adventure
This is the second time we have stayed at Stacey's cottages and we are in love. These are the perfect place to spend time in the UP. You can enjoy so many things here! Relaxing in the cabin on rainy days, sitting on the deck with morning coffee, playing in the beach at the cabin, having campfires at night. Honestly endless things to do in all weather situations. Great grill, fire pit, full kitchen, two bedrooms, games, smart TV. Free use of their MANY kayaks, paddles and PFDs. We will come back here every summer and will always choose to stay at the Kippling Cottages.

This was our second visit to the Last…
This was our second visit to the Last Resort. We like the area. the hoists are responsive and friendly. there are plenty of day trip opportunities. This year we went to Kitcch-iti-tipi near Manistique. (well worth the drive. We also visited Fayette. Both are state parks and there is a fee. While in that area, take an opportunity to stop at Rapid River Knife Works. It is unique to this area.
