Kinso was co-founded by brothers Frank and Jacques Greeff who sold their last business, Realbase for $180M. Through 13 years in business, they realised that business communication happens on too many platforms, including Gmail, Slack, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack and more. So they created a single inbox for every business communication, that uses AI to understand your goals and lets you focus on the most important messages and contacts. Kinso does so through the following features: AI-Drafted Replies: By learning how you communicate with different people across different platforms, Kinso drafts replies matching your voice and tone. Each reply is crafted with the context of your recent discussions and meetings. Universal Search: Find anything you’ve ever sent or received without knowing the exact words that were used. Instead of crawling through multiple emails and messaging platforms, just ask Kinso’s universal search bar. Contextual Assistant: Kinso connects what belongs together. Contract sent on WhatsApp? Kinso will surface the email requesting it. Meeting details scattered across Slack and email? Now they're in one place, before you even ask for it. Morning Briefing: Kinso serves you a morning briefing that summarises crucial messages and action items. Whether it's the urgent client request or time-sensitive approval, you’ll see it in order of what needs your attention first. Voice Assistant: Talk to Kinso to access your morning briefing, respond to messages and ask questions about any of your conversations or contacts. Every email and message in one inbox: Kinso integrates with Gmail, LinkedIn, Slack, WhatsApp & Instagram. More integrations coming soon. Filters: Our inbox filters let you sift through your messages by priority, topics or contacts. Want to go even faster? Use our keyboard shortcuts. Smart Contacts: Your summarised history with a contact across every platform you’ve spoken on. Going into a meeting? Kinso will highlight the most important details you’ve discussed with them so you’re the most prepared version of yourself. Auto-labelled Topics: By learning the context of your conversations across different platforms, Kinso automatically labels every message with a relevant topic. No need to manually organise. Startups like this are just riding the…

Startups like this are just riding the ai wave and the core proposition is questionable. Why would users want to rely on a third party to manage confidential corporate information and potentially expose their messages to a third party in the case of a breach? Also given trends like openclaw, one can set up their own virtual assistant that can be just as powerful as Kinso and free of charge with local privacy. The security risk is just too great.
