I had new windows installed in December 2024. The flashing was not installed, and I was explicitly told by the head of the company that it would be fine without it. I am now concerned that the absence of flashing could allow water ingress and lead to future damage. I contacted the company multiple times to raise these concerns and ask for a resolution, but I have received no response. Given that the company is a FENSA member, I expected better communication and aftercare. Due to the lack of response and the potential risk involved, I would advise others to think carefully before using this company.

The windows they put in are first class and they put them in on time and marcel’s fitting team couldn’t have been nicer . There was a problem with the kitchen windows and they rectified that immediately as khal had said but I’ve been waiting 4 months for them to make good on the paintwork outside where they put the new windows frames in . I’ve rung and rung but to no avail . I can’t understand why they won’t finish off the job as I was so pleased with the rest of it .

Avoid this company — no accountability, rude communication, and unfinished work.

We hired Khalsons (through Imran Window) for window and external work. We paid in full and were promised a 5-year warranty. However, serious problems started not long after the job was done — and for over 6 months, we tried contacting them to get it fixed. We were ignored.

My husband kept calling and texting since January, but Imran didn’t respond. When we finally got a reply, it was rude and dismissive. Instead of acknowledging our complaint, we were spoken to aggressively — even being told we had “messed in the head” for leaving a bad review. Completely unprofessional.

We were also asked to transfer the money into a personal account, not a business account, which raised serious concerns about how this business operates.

Now, after all this time, the person replying (Imran’s father) says Imran no longer works or trades — essentially avoiding all responsibility, even though they’re clearly still acting on his behalf.

We were misled, ignored, and spoken to with zero respect. The work is still not fixed, and instead of honoring their warranty, they’ve passed blame, denied fault, and tried to intimidate us.

If you want peace of mind and a professional service — stay far away from this company. Once they take your money, they disappear.

👉 I will now be taking this case further through Trading Standards, HMRC, my bank, and FENSA if they are registered. This situation is unacceptable and will not be ignored.

I had a very disappointing experience with Khalsons. In the first two weeks, they pushed me to leave a positive review before the job was fully complete — something I now regret doing. At the time, I was rushed, but later discovered the work was poorly done and far below standard.

Despite promising a 5-year warranty, they’ve refused to take responsibility. The payment was taken into a personal account, not a proper business setup, and when I raised concerns, I was met with rudeness and a complete lack of accountability.

Both the individual and his father were involved, accepted payment, and have since dismissed all attempts to resolve the issue — even saying “do what you want.”

I’m now reporting the matter to Trading Standards, HMRC, and my bank. Avoid Khalsons at all costs.

Along with the good reviews and Ashley's convincing sales pitch, we decided to go with Khalsons Windows. That's where things started going pear-shaped though.

The scheduling chaos: The installers didn't turn up three times in a row - no call, no text, nothing. Each time we rang Khalid (the owner), he seemed genuinely surprised and apologetic, but it felt like the office and the installation teams weren't talking to each other.The installation team: When Chris and Jim finally turned up on the fourth attempt, they were lovely lads - friendly, clearly knew what they were doing, and worked really hard. They got the job done quickly too.

The messy bit: Our old windows were ancient, so they had to saw them in half to get them out. The amount of dust was mental - like a building site had exploded in our house. The lads didn't bring dust sheets or a hoover, which would have saved us so much hassle. They did wipe down the kitchen surfaces and swept up the big bits, but everything else - furniture, books, carpets, bedding - was covered in this horrible sticky dust that took us ages to clean.

They also dropped an old window frame on our desk and damaged it, got silicone all over our bedding (which never came out, even after multiple washes), and the sealant job was pretty shoddy - we had to finish it ourselves. Oh, and they forgot to put in the MDF window sills we'd paid for.

The good news: The windows themselves are brilliant. Immediate difference in temperature and so much quieter. No more condensation, they open and close like a dream, and those little trickle vents are genius for keeping fresh air coming through. One of the trickle vents won't shut though - might be damaged or not installed properly. 

Bottom line: Great windows, shame about everything else.

Be very careful using this company. When my windows were originally fitted I was reasonably pleased. The work was done quickly, if messily (I still have glue on walls I can’t remove). However, one of the windows has been consistently crafty and has black mould forming. I have reported several times and despite one lad fiddling with it, nothing has changed and now my messages are ignored. Definitely would not recommend - I have also never received my FENSA certificate. This has been going on for several years

Project management is appalling. They take your deposit as fast as possible and then leave you in the lurch with no progress follow up. Had to chase for surveyors specification and installation dates. When a date was given and confirmation was made to them, they would give the booking date away to another client. Took 5 months for installation of windows. Khalsons Windows & Doors have been established since April 2024 and is trading under a new company: Prestige Windows & Doors Contractors Ltd. Both companies are not FENSA registered. Do not recommend you use either companies. The after-sales care is non-existent. Khalid Omar, the owner/director gets aggressive by shouting to you and uses expletive language. Just disgraceful for someone of a professional company to act that way without any provocation. Money grabbing family. Avoid at all costs.

Product is excellent. Sales is good. Fitting team work hard. Project management is disappointing. Have to chase for everything. Were told 2 days - but took far longer. Were told the team didn't work Saturdays, but they had been sent to anothe job rather than finish ours leaving us with an unusable bathroom window over the weekend. Fitted bathroom window in wrong room, when moved didn't fit. New one was incorrect so had to get another one. Key wouldn't turn in back door so insecure overnight. Wrong supports used to try install lintel - they took a video if the whole wall wobbling & had to pause until correct supports brought. Front door had to be re-ordered (or was forgotten) so was installed at a later date. French door needed adjusting as was catching, and they said someone would come to do it - never came so had to try and work it out ourselves. Didn't clean the windows after fitting and when we cleaned off the marks we found a scratch on the glass. They agreed to replace it but still waiting, phoned again today - more promises and then hung up on us. Still not registered with Fensa after 2 months, so no certificate. Would not recommend.

Do not trust this company with your deposit.
I cancelled within the 14 day cooling off period.
I am still waiting 10 weeks later ,I now will get a refund on the 30th, 12 weeks later and means he makes on my £3,500 interest which is over £200 pounds.
There other 3 other people on Google had the same issues. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Be cautious when dealing with this company. I paid a £14,000 deposit in July 2024 for the replacement of all my windows and doors, with delivery scheduled for October 2024. It is now March 2025, and there has been no sign of delivery. Upon checking the Companies House website, I discovered that all company directors have resigned. Furthermore, few days ago I received a call from the company requesting additional funds. When I refused, an individual named Khalid became aggressive, shouting and using inappropriate language. I strongly advise potential customers to avoid this company.

Imran came to discuss our options for replacing 31 year old double glazing windows. There were no pushy sales, a comprehensive breakdown of options and a competitive quote for double glazing was provided. After several quotes, we opted for triple glazing and Imran gave us an excellent price and so we chose his company. He informed us of the timeline, which was spot on. The surveyor came within the next week. The installers were efficient and as there were enough installers to do one window each, the job was completed in one day. They even allowed our toddler to take an afternoon nap by informing everyone to work quietly, and when she was awake, they vacuumed up any mess, cleaned the driveway and left. The job was excellent on all windows and we are now benefiting from better sound proofing and hopefully better energy efficiency. They also have a building arm to their business and I will happily recommend them to anyone wanting new windows, as well as getting more quotes for building work we would like to do.

We ask this company for a quote for an extension we planned to build. After six months the building works started on the extension and we decide to use him for the windows and doors. This guy took us to a factory to convince us his business was good for the work we wanted done. After taking ,£5,000 he refuse to give us a contract or breakdown of pricing for any of the windows or doors that we discuss. There was no real measurements used because the buliding work was still in the early stage. One the payment was made the lies began to flow. Now 3 months later we are still waiting to get our money back though he said the money would be return within 7 days.

Imran came to our house and was very polite, courteous and not at all pushy.
Once we found out a little more about the company, how they operated and saw the product we were sold. Despite some scratches on the front door which we managed to negotiate on the experience has been very positive.
The Doors and windows look great and we are happy customers and would recommend Khalsons to anybody who is interested.

I had a great experience with Khalsons Windows & Doors. They did an excellent job, and the quality of their work was impressive. The team was professional, skilled, and ensured everything was done to a high standard. However, the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the project took much longer than the scheduled date. Despite the delay, the final result was worth the wait. I would still recommend them to anyone looking for quality windows and doors.

I highly recommend this company if you are looking to replace your windows. Unlike many other companies, their prices are reasonable. Imran was very accommodating, even after the installation was complete. The installation team was professional and considerate, and they did an excellent job cleaning up afterward. I now have high-quality doors and windows at a fair price.
