The freshest tastiest KFC we have ever had! The staff were friendly and helpful. The toilets were clean. Shout out to Thembelihle for outstanding service.

The service at Kempton gate kfc was good the sfuff was very friendly sethu was so kind as she was helping one of her challenge and also made me feel so welcome

My wife's worst nightmare

We went to KFC Birch Acres mall with my wife, and went through the drive through. My wife wanted the toilet, and she went inside, whilst driving to the parking lot, I was called that she fell on the wet floor. And they just called twice and never checked up on us. She's still in pain from that day. I really hate the franchise with all of my heart.

Went to kfc the zone in Rosebank today 28/02/2026 worst service ever. It’s not the first time I experience this type of service at the same kfc but today deserved to be reported and reviewed.

First only 1 self service machine is working and there is a long line , I ask if we can order at the till now that there is no line and Mr Manzini says no cz it’s not cash sale. I finally placed my order the order took more than 20 minutes cz there is no meat and people before already waited for more than 40 minutes without being told there no meat. I asked for the manager and he comes it’s Mr Manzini the manager, I ask why we were not told before we place order that there is no meat then 1 can decide if they want to wait or not his response was “ if you order at the self service machine there is no way of telling me that the meat is not ready “I remind him that I am the one that asked to buy at the cashier due to line and he said no.He then points at the lady that is cleaning tables and it’s that ladies responsibility to let customers that order at the machine that meat is not ready. I tell him that this lady was upstairs cleaning tables how was he supposed to do that, he then dismisses me and say he is buy at the back working I told him as a manager he needs to take responsibility of what happens in his shop not shift blame to his employees. Funny enough there were other 2 customers that ordered at the cashier that were angry due to order delay and the fact that they were not told that there is no meat and I told him that also those customers were not told anything about the meat. To top it all after my order was finally out I was told that there is pap as I ordered street wise pap. I asked how is that possible after waiting for such a long time and I’m only told when order is coming out that they don’t have what I ordered. Mr Manzini said he can refund me the money now that I am not happy with my order the nerve of not apologising and acknowledging the fault and just offer my money back after wasting my time.
One customer same waiting for order the way the cashier answered the customer to an extent that customer lost it saying his time was wasted and it’s not the first time he experienced this at the same kfc .cashier disregarded the customer saying “how was she supposed to know if something is finished if the kitchen people did not tell her” customer ended up swearing to the cashier which is very wrong due to how staff answers customers things get out of hand .Due to absence, level of not caring from manager staff end up not caring about customers. Even though I said I will write the review manager did not care. Mr Manzini does not deserve to be the manager in that store at all how he lets the staff deal with complaints and hiding at the back is not acceptable.

Quite frankly even clicking one star is exaggerated
Welgelee KFC needs to appoint a qualified experienced manager, that will actually support customers, manage staff, and can guide especially end of month rush.
Service is absolutely non-existent. After the 3rd time waiting in excess of 2HRS for an order our family withdraws support of this particular franchise.

I received bad service at KFC Umgababa, I placed my order amd and quickly I requested reward to change the order and add the meat. My request was declined and told that I cannot change my order.

I received bad service at KFC Umgababa. I placed order and requested to change my order,I was told that I cannot change the order, I had to order again and add more chicken, their in house rules doesn't meet the customer service and expectations.

Kfc somerset west crossing no man you guys can do better than this we paying we not asking for free food how you tell people to wait for 25 minutes on a drive through the worst service ever you tell people to waiting then the order is ready you don’t bring until we come back again to the window only to find out the been sitting there and we wait for nothing that’s not good and when you order the person who’s taking your order she’s saying Yoh Yoh if they don’t want work they must stay home

Disappointed at how KFC's …

I am very disappointed at how KFC's Menu's are presented for customer use, you have to fight your way into a menu and then there is no prices on the displayed items, they really need to relook their advertising especially in this digital age and online buying, I now have to go physically into a KFC to buy and most of their customer complaints, I can relate to, at certain times of day and week you get old yesterdays food and late nights, be careful if the fresh chicken is sold out, ordering online and having no transport to return foods its potluck if your order is what you ordered, fresh and intact, KFC your business is losing ,get mystery shoppers and get your business up to standard, there is a HOST of unemployed people willing to WORK. Thankyou!!

Why was KFC Verulem still operating at…

Why was KFC Verulem still operating at 9:45 if they were out of chicken? The cashier was abrupt and unhelpful .Arrived at the drive through only to be told they closing

It makes no sense to remain open if you cannot serve your core menu item

Very Disappointed - Not what I ordered

I ordered dunked wings, but what I received were zinger wings with a little sauce poured over them. The wings were not properly dunked at all – the sauce was barely there and sitting at the bottom of the box instead of coating the wings as advertised.

This is misleading and unacceptable, especially considering the price. If I wanted zinger wings, I would have ordered them. Dunked wings are supposed to be fully coated, not half-done with sauce thrown in as an afterthought.

Extremely disappointed and I feel like I did not get what I paid for. This experience has really put me off ordering from the KFC at Piet Retief again.

This is not the first time.

Something I never do but I just had it

Something I never do but I just had it. Yesterday we went to KFC Robertson! Except for the waiting time it just went downhill from there. 1. We placed our order and dis not receive the 50c change (imagine not giving 50c change to a few customers a day) 2. We received our order and cole slaw was rang up om the slip as well as chips, which is fine. But then it all started. I went back to the counter and asked for the slaw, then they told me they dis not have any since the previous day already. An very arrogant and rude lady came out and eventually they refunded me. By this time my food was cold and my 9 uear old son was sitting alone at the table. 3. As we were eating she came back to the table and crabbed the slip from the table. At this point I told my son to stop eating. After a while ahe came back and told me that the chips was swopped out for the slaw and that the floor manager said it is fine I can keep the “refund” and she also bought me the 50c change dot the initial purchase. At the point i just lost it as it was fulle and people was looking at us because it was not very discreet. We took everything and went to the car. Very upset and angry I drove away. 3. This morning my son opened his sealed boxmaste (the new one with doritos) and look. A bite was taken out of the meal and no doritos!!!!!

I am sorry! But I will never ever support them again!!!!!!!!! Rude service and as for the food not up to standard at all
