We’re sorry to hear that you came away feeling this way.

We’d like to clarify that your warranty claim was not denied. After reviewing the photos you provided, we noted significant external scuffing and wear around the power bank and the port-cover area, which made it difficult to determine that the cover came off due to a manufacturing defect.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your product cracked from a fall of just 3 feet — it should certainly be able to withstand normal drops like that, and this is not the quality we aim to deliver. We’re also concerned about the inconsistent wireless charging you mentioned, as this is not typical of our products.

However, performance can vary based on factors like cable type, charging protocol (PD vs. QC3), and the device being charged. That’s why our team asked for details — not to deflect responsibility, but to genuinely troubleshoot and resolve the issue with you.

We did offer to test the unit at no cost to you and also provided an option to test with a USB-C PD certified cable, as using a non-PD cable can significantly affect performance — even if the cable fits. If the unit is found to be defective, we stand fully behind our product and will provide a replacement.

Dear TrustPilot, Thank you for bringing this customer's complaint to our attention. We reviewed the customer’s concerns relating to this matter.

The customer originally purchased from us on 08/30/2021 and placed a second order on 03/26/2022. Today 07/10/2022 the customer emailed our support team stating: “This product was great for the first week, after that I noticed it wasn't charging due to the fact that its magnetic and it picks up all kinds of small metal filings and preventing a good solid connection between the cable and the adapter”.

The customer, unfortunately, posted this review on Trust Pilot before our support team could respond. Therefore we were unaware of any issues the customer was having until now. We are not entirely clear why the customer would purchase twice over a 7-month period if magnetic charging did not best suit his needs. Regardless, we certainly want to help this customer resolve their concerns.

We recommend the customer try to avoid bringing the magnetic connectors close to dirty surfaces. If debris accumulation does occur, the connection can be easily cleared by swabbing the cable ends with a cotton swab or if possible, jelly cleaner works best. Note, we include a 45-day money back guarantee and lifetime warranty with all of our products. Therefore we encourage the customer to contact our Customer Care team so we may assist in troubleshooting this issue and/or sending a warranty replacement is needed.

A support ticket was raised by the customer on 07/04/2022 at 11:54 am EST which stated:

I need to return the charger cables I purchased. I was not satisfied with your quality and performance. Magnets are weak, not N52. And cables works when it wants to and not when I need it. Where do I send the items back to? What address?

Our support team then responded the same day, 07/04/2022 at 1:49 pm EST stating the following:

Sorry to hear you're experiencing some difficulty with the cables. Happy to help get this resolved!

Our tips use a N-52 neodymium magnetic connector. These rare magnets have a pull force of 7lbs and breakaway of 1lb. The N-52 neodymium magnets are also the strongest grade in the N48, N50 and N52 family. At this time there is not a magnet stronger than the N-52 available to place into a charging cable. Anything stronger may interfere with your device’s signal or data (ie: compass and location services). First, please make sure the cable end and tip are clear of any debris. This can sometimes weaken the magnetic connection. Are you by chance using a case with your device that could be blocking the cable from getting a good connection with the charging tip?

99% of the time inconsistencies in charging are caused from dust in the charging port or a faulty charging tip. Our chargers are adaptive and throttle 1-5 amperes based on what your device tells our charger it can handle. So if the port has any dust present it will return NULL to the charger causing it to default to a safe 1Amp. Same result with a bad tip. Please remove the KEUTEK charging tip and blow into the charging port (ideally with canned air) to make sure the tip has a solid connection with the charger. Once the port is clear, we recommend leaving the KEUTEK tip in your device at all times - even when not charging. This will protect the charging port on your device from dust accumulation and wear associated with continuous push/pull of traditional cables.
