My husband and I have recently bought lots of equipment from Kendo Star (hakama, bags, tenougui, frames for glasses, you name it!) and we would like to thank the team for their superb customer service, high-quality gear and attention to detail. There was a mistake with size in our first order and their response was swift and admirably professional. Even the packaging makes opening the box a true moment of joy! I first bought my kendo gear from a different supplier and I was very unhappy about what I bought. The reason being that in their website the information on how to get your size is wrong until today. But, in KendoStar you will find youtube videos showing how to measure your sizes and the quality of the gear you want to buy and so on. Always very prompt response over the email and the deliveries always feel like they send special deliveries all the time with a very high end service. I am buying only from them because they are very reliable, fast and trustworthy. I never had an issue, but I am pretty sure that based on their current customer service will sort you out.

I decided to order a new KIRABOSHI men and I cannot say enough about how helpful and accommodating Ezgi was with my customized order. It is hard to find this level of attention and customer service which speaks volumes about Andy and his staff at Kendostar.

The fact that you don’t have to pay for custom tax is a BIG plus !! I shop from France and my order came very fast and I didn’t have to pay the custom taxes which is not always the case when shopping internationally.

Great website, great kendo equipment, and very fast shipping!

Sehr schnelle und vollkommen unproblematische Lieferung. TOP! Hakama und Keiko-Gi fallen leider etwas zu groß aus. Lieber eine halbe oder eine Nummer kleiner bestellen. Bisher bei allen Hakama Größe 28 und beim Keiko-Gi Größe 4 gehabt. Das stimmt bei diesem Set leider nicht mehr. Bei einer Größe von 187 cm (schlank) sind die Teile leider etwas zu groß/lang. (Alle meine Körpermaße waren ausgemessen, nur die Tabelle ist m.E. nicht wirklich hilfreich) Das ist auch dem Material geschuldet, dass durch den Stretchanteil im Keiko-Gi, sich beim Anziehen ausdehnt und es daher schwierig ist das Keiko-Gi glatt zu bekommen. Der Tragekomfort ist gut und leicht. Schade, dass der Umtausch (Rücksendung), wenn man die Ware anprobiert hat, erschwert wird durch die Vorgabe, nichts zu öffnen etc. und dazu auch noch recht teuer ist. Da sollte der Service noch besser werden ( z.B. kostenlose Rücksendung / zweiwöchige Rückgabemöglichkeit)
Ich werde mir wahrscheinlich wieder Material aus Baumwolle kaufen, das zwar pflegeaufwändiger ist, jedoch ein insgesamt besseres Handling hat.
