I’ve stayed at Kench Hill twice, once for my 30th with a group of grown up friends, and the second time with a mixed group of adults and children. I can’t rate it highly enough, the team are kind and friendly, the facilities are excellent for time spend indoors or outdoors, the location is great and the price is so reasonable for the number of people that you can pack in. We were fascinated to learn about the history of the place, enjoyed the animals, and took advantage of the catering facilities. Thanks so much.

We’ve been using Kench Hill for a number of years to stage a very small festival. We absolutely love the grounds, and the House, and have always enjoyed working with the staff there. We really admire the work that they do at KH with schools, but we use the venue in the summer for our event which works beautifully there, and our participants all feel very loved up by the end of the weekend. As a venue, it will not necessarily suit everybody. The sleeping spaces are mostly dorms, with a few single or double bedrooms, and the bathrooms are shared, with a couple of exceptions. But we are fine about that, and are quite glad that the Place is a bit old World, rather than up to the top standards that people expect these days.

All children should be able to experience the joy of Kenchill. A fantastic outdoor education centre, with wonderful supportive and knowledgeable staff, who encourage children to have fun while learning about the environment, evening hikes, kite flying at the beach, toasting marshmallows, feeding & caring for animals while staying in a beautiful building in cosy dormitories. Team building, learning respect for the outdoors, nature, animals and each other - I wish I could have gone there as a child. Well done Kenchill you are brilliant!

A beautiful venue for bespoke outdoor education residential and large community group and family stays. The team are welcoming, supportive and caring. The food is delicious and of a very high standard. Would highly recommend. We loved the ponies, chickens and rabbits!

What a fantastic opportunity for young people to experience environmental education. The staff are dedicated to first class teaching as well as providing delicious food and high quality accommodation. They also diversify to ensure the centre can continue by offering wedding venues and many other facilities. I highly recommend
