Excellent phone support followed by seamless online transaction. Equipment arrived beautifully packaged and well within "Excellent+" condition. Except for shipping glitch by USPS (not KEH) I am completely delighted with this transaction.

The product was at an exceptional price and in exceptional condition. It was easy to locate on KEH's website and shipping was prompt. I've used KEH as a supplier often and recommend them to other photographer's and students at the undergraduate and graduate level.

I've bought camera kit from KEH for many years. Although the quality is often good, once in a while the item sent is NOT as described. That's when you get to know their customer service and you deal with a cold, unconcerned team. They sent me an item that was marked as "Excellent" but didn't work properly. And dealing with them was a negative experience that clearly states that one cannot trust their listings.

On the other hand, when dealing with MPB, not only do they actually post photos of the kit you'll be sent... also their customer service is considerate and quick. In my experience, KEH is just not worth it: it's slightly more expensive and customer service is often not nice.

Lens was in better condition than I expected, very clean glass and nice pictures.

The lens showed up wrapped very carefully it arrived within days. I’m very happy with this company.

My first two orders from KEH went well. I received like new lenses, a Tamron E-mount 50-400 and then a Sony 20-70 f4 G. Both were truly immaculate.

My third order has not gone well. I ordered a "LN" Sony 24mm f2.8 G. When delivered I found a stain or damage on the rear element and also a cosmetic scratch on the hood. Initiating a return required the hassle of an email exchange which took a day to complete, an annoyance. But when I was asked to pay the return FedEx shipping and insurance this was unacceptable.

So I phoned KEH, spoke with a reasonable person, and was issued an RMA. I requested a replacement 24mm f2.8 G.

After another week the replacement arrived. It was in a ziplock bag labeled 24mm f2.8 G. The serial # of the lens was correct, but it was the wrong lens. It was a 40mm f2.5 G (great little lense I already own).

Again I'm waiting for KEH to reply to my email through their contact portal. This time I'm asking for a refund since I don't need these hassles.

I've lost confidence in KEH, well intentioned merchants but sloppy and careless in their product inspections and handling.

I purchased a 7K lens online a Saturday but then realized it had the wrong mount type. I called back to cancel first thing Monday morning since they had no staff on the phone during the weekends and no way to send a cancellation email. Long story short, they told me the order had already shipped during the weekend and there was nothing they could do to stop it. After 23 days and several phone calls, I finally got a refund on my credit card, minus shipping fees in both directions plus banking fees etc. This problem could easily be solved if they had a simple way to cancel on weekends.

Amazing quality & fast shipping. My dad has been buying cameras here for years. This was my first time. Great experience. These guys are legit!

Reasonable used equipment prices coupled with
easy to navigate website makes KEH one of my favorite places to shop for used camera gear.

Although not new to the used camera equipment experience, this was my first purchase from KEH. I purchased a Nikon lens in “Excellent” condition, and I’d say that was maybe a little ambitious. The zoom ring makes some noise, and has some drag, suggesting dirt or other minor issue. The lens hood was physically wedged onto the lens, and it took much (careful) effort to remove it. They also advertised it included the lens cap. While a lens cap was included, it was KEH branded. I usually purchase from their competitor, and that company states if it’s an OEM accessory or third-party. KEH description didn’t have that same transparency, and maybe it’s my fault for assuming that if I’m paying for “Excellent” condition, it would include the OEM equipment as part of the purchase. Add the fact they have a used 77mm OEM Nikon lens cap on their site for sale, and why shouldn’t I feel they took my OEM lens cap and swapped it out for their cheaper branded cap so they could make a few extra bucks? Just a hunch. Overall, the cost to value for the lens is fine and isn’t worth me taking up my gripes with KEH. However, I don’t feel I’ll go back to them for another purchase. I feel their competitor offers greater truth in grading and transparency.

I ordered a Canon 5D Classic listed in excellent condition, and I was honestly a bit skeptical about buying a camera this old. I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The camera arrived looking almost brand new and performs beautifully. I also ordered a 50mm lens, which was in equally great, near-new condition. Very happy with the experience — buy with confidence!

I'm very pleased with the lens I bought. It stated it was in excellent condition and it truly is. However, the ad also stated the lens comes with a back cap and a front lens cap, neither was received. I sent a note to customer service right after receiving the lens but I have received NO response. It's puzzling that you would ask for a review without fulfilling (or at least responding to) the request.
