Just a waste of time, energy and money
In reply to your answer to our review:-
You know our names but we don’t know yours, but, you don’t know what happened. Firstly:- The sales team member hounded us to attend the event, we received emails and text messages asking us to confirm that we would attend. We didn’t know why he wanted us to attend but we assumed that it must be important and we still do not know why he wanted to see us. If you knew our situation you would understand what I mean, we are not in a position to buy a new car, why would we? The car we have, as you should know, is only 18 months old.
Secondly:- we did talk to another sales team member, we told him we had an appointment, after we had waited a while, he went to see the salesman who we had the appointment with, we were told it would only be another ten minutes but it was much longer. So we told the sales man who spoke to us that we had to go.
Thirdly:- you weren’t busy when we were there, there were no customers to be seen, with the exception of a man with his son who took a photo of the small grey car on display and then he left straightaway which is what we should have done.
Lastly, it’s wonderful that you sold so many cars, well done!! But, unfortunately, it only confirms that people buying new cars are much much more important than elderly, disabled people who kept their promise to attend the non event. Whichever way you look at it, it was still a waste of time, effort and money on our part. So disappointing, whatever happened to good customer service? Thank you for your apology but it should have come from the man that we had the appointment to see!
We, my husband and I, were invited to a “special event” at Just Motor Group in Preston, we had an appointment with Kamlesh for 1pm, it never happened. We waited for 45 minutes, and then we left. It was a complete waste of time, energy and money and 40 miles worth of diesel. Just Motor Group are supposed to be “the people you can trust”, not so, we trusted them to keep an appointment but they didn’t. And the “special event” was a non event, there was nothing special about it.

Buying cars made easy
We had looked at cars in the dealerships near just motors they had no details on the cars and no sales staff approached us.We came back to Just Motors as we have bought from them before and whilst we were browsing Andy approached to ask if he could help and he remembered us from before.
The buying process for our new car was a good experience.

It's the first time we bought a car without looking at it and Richard and the team did everything possible to ensure everything was handled perfectly. They even arranged for someone to pick me up from the local train station on the day I collected the vehicle. I would not hesitate to recommend using these again. 5 Stars!

My granddaughter has a motabilty car…
My granddaughter has a motabilty car with the Preston branch.the car which is just over 2 years old,it broke down in a car park,rac got it going but the engineer stated it would need a new battery which they could replace the following day at our home.motability stated I had go to the dealer for the repair.On contacting just group there was no customer service,they said were extremely busy,i could drop the car off and leave with them over the weekend no courtesy car could be offered as if we wanted that we would have to wait until the2nd of December almost a 1month wait ?.?Bottom line on contacting Motorbility organised a mechanic who was on my drive within 3 hours of my phone call,it took that mechanic 10 minutes to replace and repair with a smile and I will not use this dealership when replacing my car for a new one in April 2025. They clearly from my experience look a the dictionary definition of customer service and then apply.

Dishonest, stereotypical sales tactics. Avoid!
Dishonest, stereotypical car salesmen tactics. Avoid at all costs.
Just Motor Group Preston take the “dishonest salesman” trope and run with it. From outright lying, to the ‘ol “let me talk to my manager” schtick.
My introduction to “Kam” in their sales team was when he lied to me to get me to come in. I spoke to him in the morning to confirm that a vehicle had a 5 year warranty on it, and that it was provided at no extra cost. Kam confirmed this, twice. I then made the 1.5 hour journey (leaving a newborn at home with the missus) only to sit in his office and be told that the warranty was 2 years! So, off the bat I’ve been lied to and lost 3 years warranty from what I expected. I never would have gone down if he was honest, but whatever gets the customer in the chair ey Kam? So from 5 years on the phone, down to 2 years in the chair, then all of a sudden down to 1?! Make up your mind fellas.
The next three hours of my life were spent haggling with Kam and his manager, Mark, to try and recuperate some sort of deal. To put into perspective just how frustrating they are to deal with, it took hours of haggling for them to even agree to replace MOT advisory tires. Mind you this was on a £13,000 car. We eventually came to no deal as they refused to fix the rear driver’s side rusted & pitted break drum, despite Kam (the one and only) telling me that it “would be taken care of”. Tired of being lied to, I walked away from the car.
Altogether I can’t recommend Just Motor Group Preston. Their sales team will do anything to get you in that chair, even to go as far as lying to you. They’ll then continue this dishonesty and do whatever they can to sell you a car, unless what you want is for them to honor their word.
PS: No amount of animosity or bad air between you and Kam could get in the way of him trying to sell you a top coat or service plan. He’ll try anyway. The absolute cheek.
In response to JMG Preston’s response.
1. I asked clear and concise questions multiple times on the phone. Each time Kam responded with assurances that the vehicle came with a 5 years warranty at no extra charge. I note also that you didn’t address Kam further “misadvising” me that the warranty was 2 years. Then 1.
2. Offering me a £495 2 year warranty as a way of an apology does nothing to recuperate the £1295 5 year warranty I’ve lost.
3. Kam had no issue selling the vehicle with advisory tyres until I brought the issue up and insisted they be replaced. Your standards at Just Motor Group seem to only apply when you’re called to act on them.
4. I was told by Kam that the brakes could not be cleaned, despite him saying “We’ll take care of it”, and that the only way to remove said rust and corrosion was to replace the brakes. Which you then refused to do, quite loudly with some choice words sprinkled in. Mark’s voice carries.
5. I accept that the regulatory standards were met in relation to topcoat and the service plan. I do hope in the future though your salesmen do give customers a chance to read the documentation, as opposed to incorrectly summarise and check through them for you. I had to ask multiple times for him to slow down.
6. JudgeService is unfortunately not a great measure of your service. The reviews require a validated purchase and as such don’t take into consideration circumstances such as this. People tend to not go through with a sale when they’ve been repeatedly lied to. If you note, your Google reviews on the other hand as well as your Trustpilot reviews paint a more accurate image of your reputation as they encompass both sides of the JMG experience.
7. I have left reviews on as many platform saw necessary to warn people of your bad practices. In the future I recommend you provide accurate and factual information and deter your salesman’s poor business practices. I’d say you can’t only expect feedback when you like what the customer has to say, but seeing as you base your reputation on JudgeService I’d guess you buy into this fallacy.
8. 4 of my 19 total reviews are one star. That’s 21%, as you seem to enjoy throwing arbitrary percentage around. I’d argue that’s not a large number of my reviews.

Thank you for your further response. I agree, in all fairness to yourselves, expecting your salesmen to abstain from dishonest business practices is a tad too ambitious. Best of luck going forward.
Update; JustMotorGroup attempted to remove my review stating it was defamatory. Trustpilot rightly kept the review up as non-defamatory. Stop trying to circumvent bad reviews and actually improve your service. Underhanded tactics yet again.

Do not ever buy from this garage
Do not ever buy from this garage. Sold a vehicle in terrible condition and never stated large issues needing repaired. Went through leaps and bounds to try and get money back but was only interested in his own pocket being lined. Truly horrible human and i hope people will read this and think twice about going to these cowboys. Every excuse under the sun this garage were giving as to why the condition was the way it is. Shocking.

I enquired about a Citroen C4 5 months old at Just Citroen Preston , when i phoned to book a test drive he said am i thinking of having it on the day of which i replied i was just thinking about it today, , the sales guy come accross as nice, it took me the best part of 30 mins to get my part exchange price up to what other people was saying it is worth, and i stated that i really did not want to get rid of my car , it was hard to do so, but he kept on saying if we give you £9000 for your car have we a deal and i felt presured to say yes , on that note i said i would go and get my card for the deposit in my car and due to the immense presure i was put under i drove of, i could not cope with deciding there and then, I really needed time to think about this as £22,000 is alot of money if i make the wrong choice, and to be booked in for 4pm in the pitch dark to view a car is not really the best idea, i called them back a couple of days later stating that i would like to buy the car, stating that i felt under presure and that i am bi polar and just could not cope at that moment in time , and he said as i am bi polar i am not in my own mind to make decisions which is totally outragous and i thought i went to a car dealership not a doctors office for medical evaluation, i would say that they are being discrimatory to a disabled person stating a comment without any facts about my mental health and will be taking this furthur with Disablity awareness , he stated to me due to my mental health i should buy a car from somewhere else , Im glad i did not give any money over if that is how Just Citroen Preston treats its customers with disabilitys , stating that they are not fit to make decisions, there after care must be appaling, he wanted me to sign away £22,000 there and then , the best thing i did is get in my car and drive of, ive never had a problem with any other garages, and this review is to identify that customers are trated as mentally deranged . also i nearly forgot that he was charging me £21995 when i have a screen shot of the advert of £21495 so who was the one playing on mental health , Ive been in contact with Disability rights uk and Citroen Head office of which Disability rights want me to send them all the details , its not fair that they treat people with conditions any different .

Thank you for your take on the situation, all because someone does not do as you say on the day and takes time to think about it does not mean that they are not able to make a decision, yes i agree i should have let you know that i was not going to proceed at that time, but your sales man kept saying if we give you what you want for your car can we have a deal now, i just needed time to think about this , but yet as recorded your sales man because im bi polar said he does not think i am in my own mind to make decisions of which i told him all because im bi polar does not make lack capacity.
Onto my car , your offer started low , I told you Kia Hendly offered me £9000 in Pex , we buy and car valued it at £8860 , but as my car was in first class condition with only 13000 miles on it and not one dent, i was holding out for my full price.
With regards to my previous reviews , yes i have left negative comments of which it seems car dealers are lacking customer service, but none of my reviews have had contradicting feedback from the owners , even a couple saying sorry we let you down ,
In no review ever have i had to mention disability , or divulge into my mental capacity , maybe we should come for Mental evaluation to Just Citroen if you deem someone loony all because they decide to leave your dealership for what ever reason
Not to mention the great feedback i have left for Nissan Chorley whom i have been a customer of for many years, and 6 months ago bought a £30,000 van from Smiths Nissan in Peterborough whom was a pleasure to deal with and left a 5 star review and even emailed chris the other day saying how wonderful my van is even though ive only done 800 miles in the six months.

Recently contacted Just MG at Keighley as considering purchasing MG4 X Power. Salesman told me that they did not have XPower demo car, but did have lesser model that is exactly same but lower powered. Perhaps he should read MGs own literature and other reviews, which state differences in suspension, brakes etc. I find it very annoying when car sales staff do not know their products and mislead potential customers, treating them with contempt.

Pretty perfect service!
I bought a used (demonstration model) Hyundai at the Preston branch - dealing with Mark S. The whole experience has been perfect and painless. Mark did everything he said he would do (and more). I independently test drove the vehicle, Mark talked me through all the options for finance and add ons but with no pressure, I paid the deposit and picked the car up 2 days later. He gave me the details for drive-away insurance when my insurers couldn't get their act together in time and spent plenty of time handing over the vehicle making sure everything was working as it should and I was happy.
I've been so impressed with the service I received, I've already had 2 family members saying the Just motor group will be the first place they look for their next cars.

We bought a new Hyundai from the Justmotorgroup.Ltd in Preston, Lancashire in Sep 2020. We recently took it back for it's 2nd Service. From the beginning the service and straightforward honesty we have received first from the Garage Sales Staff and then from the Service Staff has been superb.
When they completed the Service to the car, it was returned feeling better than brand new. They even upgraded the Sat Nav, which has transformed and much improved it. There was another problem we pointed out to them, which was not part of the service, but they rectified this when they had no need to do so. They, therefore, go the extra mile to keep the customer happy. We would highly recommend them to any car buyer.

I found Just Citroen brilliant!
I found Just Citroen, Harrogate fantastic. They managed to find me the exact car that I wanted (and I am very picky) and kept me up-to-date with everything. The staff were very welcoming and always ensured I had everything that I needed.
My full experience was handled confidently, professionally and confidentially. I can not recommend this place enough and will be forever grateful for the deal that you found me and I will be back.

Ive passed this onto the motoring ombudsman today, Motability have taken evidence and I've written to the ministers for Trade, equality and disabilities regarding the treatment I had from this company
Given the semiconductor shortage , I knew getting a car would be difficult so when Alex at the Harrogate branch sourced not one but 2 E-C4s in the flesh with a £500 advanced payment rebate I thought I couldn't let this go. That was 4 months ago. The truth of the matter was there never was any cars and Alex had placed a factory order, not even giving me the option of colour when it became blatant the car hadn't even been built yet
I never received an order form either, it took my son to speak to the sales manager to eventually get an unsigned post dated order form dated 11/11 for a car ordered on 01/10 with an est. Delivery of 27/10.the Sales manager also denied knowledge of my order being anything but a factory building a sinister twist But because I had tried to get the order form and some solid information, I received menacing emails questioning why I had spoken to others
This carried on until January when I was told by Motability there was a delivery date of 13/01 and had my charging point been fitted, unfortunately, there still wasn't a car
Reaching out externally for assistance my case was passed to the director Kevin, what happened next showed the arrogance of this outfit.Having been asked to resolve any issues and put my mind to rest, the director, cancelled my order in what can be best described as a misogynistic manner, " wishing me luck , hunting for a car" and talking down to me , his customer like a little woman, who should have had the privilege to have been taken for a ride c

Re. Response the constant tirade of abuse, You sold me a car that didn't exist TWICE!, told motability it would be delivered within 3 days when it hadn't been built and I was that upset with the belittling attitude of Alex and the constant lies I had to get my son , a motability accredited salesman at another very well known national company to take over correspondence with your company.
I still have the emails if anyone wants to see them ....including the very patronising one from yourself after Motability recommended liaising with senior managment a d YOU decided, termination of the contract was an easier option than both resolution and an explanation for both the lies and intimidating emails from your salesman
Incidently , you wished me luck on finding a new car given the circumstances. I was behind the wheel of a brand new EV within days. It pays it seems to avoid independent companies. THANK YOU VERY MUCH LOOKERS NEWCASTLE X

Great expeience with Just Motor Group
I bought a Citroen Nemo van from Just Citroen in Harrogate last year. I understood that they are a Citroen main dealer and the price was definately top end but it was nicely prepared, supplied with a full tank of diesel and came with 12 months Citroen warranty.
The vehicle was nearly out of warranty when the clutch release bearing started to get noisy. I rang Just Citroen in Preston and took the van in for inspection. They agreed that the bearing was on its way out and booked it in for repair.
They had the van for four days but lent me another for the duration. They replaced the clutch release bearing and rectified two other problems that I wasn't even aware of.
The whole experience was friendly, smooth and hassle free.
I can highly recommend Just Motor Group.
