Just a waste of time, energy and money

In reply to your answer to our review:-
You know our names but we don’t know yours, but, you don’t know what happened. Firstly:- The sales team member hounded us to attend the event, we received emails and text messages asking us to confirm that we would attend. We didn’t know why he wanted us to attend but we assumed that it must be important and we still do not know why he wanted to see us. If you knew our situation you would understand what I mean, we are not in a position to buy a new car, why would we? The car we have, as you should know, is only 18 months old.
Secondly:- we did talk to another sales team member, we told him we had an appointment, after we had waited a while, he went to see the salesman who we had the appointment with, we were told it would only be another ten minutes but it was much longer. So we told the sales man who spoke to us that we had to go.
Thirdly:- you weren’t busy when we were there, there were no customers to be seen, with the exception of a man with his son who took a photo of the small grey car on display and then he left straightaway which is what we should have done.
Lastly, it’s wonderful that you sold so many cars, well done!! But, unfortunately, it only confirms that people buying new cars are much much more important than elderly, disabled people who kept their promise to attend the non event. Whichever way you look at it, it was still a waste of time, effort and money on our part. So disappointing, whatever happened to good customer service? Thank you for your apology but it should have come from the man that we had the appointment to see!

We, my husband and I, were invited to a “special event” at Just Motor Group in Preston, we had an appointment with Kamlesh for 1pm, it never happened. We waited for 45 minutes, and then we left. It was a complete waste of time, energy and money and 40 miles worth of diesel. Just Motor Group are supposed to be “the people you can trust”, not so, we trusted them to keep an appointment but they didn’t. And the “special event” was a non event, there was nothing special about it.

Thank you for your review. However, a tad unfair I feel.

I am extremely apologetic that we failed to keep your appointment. We were extremely overwhelmed with the level of customers who came to our event and some without an appointment. We tried to manage the situation as best we could. Our Sales team member felt that he had time to assist the customer that he was dealing with prior to your arrival but unfortunately some people take a little longer to understand various aspects of the transaction and therefore take more time. This was one of those situations and sadly he couldn't break away from this client. Nevertheless, had you spoken to someone and raised your concerns with the delay, we would have been only too obliged to have another member of the Sales Team assist you if you weren't wanting to wait any longer.

Our "Special Event" as you so gracefully put it, was in fact that. I am extremely pleased to say that we had the most successful event we have ever had having sold over 120 cars in 10 days. As a privately owned and run business trying to succeed in a crowded marketplace, it is always sad when we fail to meet a customers expectations but as you will appreciate, this is never intentional. I am disappointed that we let you down, but also disappointed that your response was to leave such a poor review rather than raise your concerns with a team member who would have gladly assisted you further since you had travelled 40 miles.

Buying cars made easy

We had looked at cars in the dealerships near just motors they had no details on the cars and no sales staff approached us.We came back to Just Motors as we have bought from them before and whilst we were browsing Andy approached to ask if he could help and he remembered us from before.
The buying process for our new car was a good experience.

We recently bought a car from Just Citroen Harrogate and could not fault them. It's the first time we bought a car without looking at it and Richard and the team did everything possible to ensure everything was handled perfectly. They even arranged for someone to pick me up from the local train station on the day I collected the vehicle. I would not hesitate to recommend using these again. 5 Stars!

My granddaughter has a motabilty car…

My granddaughter has a motabilty car with the Preston branch.the car which is just over 2 years old,it broke down in a car park,rac got it going but the engineer stated it would need a new battery which they could replace the following day at our home.motability stated I had go to the dealer for the repair.On contacting just group there was no customer service,they said were extremely busy,i could drop the car off and leave with them over the weekend no courtesy car could be offered as if we wanted that we would have to wait until the2nd of December almost a 1month wait ?.?Bottom line on contacting Motorbility organised a mechanic who was on my drive within 3 hours of my phone call,it took that mechanic 10 minutes to replace and repair with a smile and I will not use this dealership when replacing my car for a new one in April 2025. They clearly from my experience look a the dictionary definition of customer service and then apply.

Good Afternoon, I am sorry to hear of your disappointment. You were correctly advised that we are extremely busy at the moment and are currently booking in for four weeks time. For this reason, we don't have any courtesy cars readily available as they are booked out in advance. However, we tried to accommodate you by offering to allow you to leave the car with us so that we can fit the battery over the weekend as your review suggests, but this didn't suit you. You were advised to relay this information back to Motability which you did, and they made alternative arrangements to keep you mobile. To summarise, we did everything that we could to assist you but you made the decision that it wasn't suitable and chose to pursue the issue with Motability. Given that we are a privately run company who pride ourselves on providing good customer service and enjoy a lot of repeat custom and referrals, I feel that a one star review is extremely unfair simply because your battery failed and we couldn't fit you in immediately. I also note that out of 12 reviews left on Trust Pilot, 9 of them are one star, which tells me that perhaps your expectations aren't realistic and the issue isn't really with the people you're leaving the reviews for.

Dishonest, stereotypical sales tactics. Avoid!

Dishonest, stereotypical car salesmen tactics. Avoid at all costs.

Just Motor Group Preston take the “dishonest salesman” trope and run with it. From outright lying, to the ‘ol “let me talk to my manager” schtick.

My introduction to “Kam” in their sales team was when he lied to me to get me to come in. I spoke to him in the morning to confirm that a vehicle had a 5 year warranty on it, and that it was provided at no extra cost. Kam confirmed this, twice. I then made the 1.5 hour journey (leaving a newborn at home with the missus) only to sit in his office and be told that the warranty was 2 years! So, off the bat I’ve been lied to and lost 3 years warranty from what I expected. I never would have gone down if he was honest, but whatever gets the customer in the chair ey Kam? So from 5 years on the phone, down to 2 years in the chair, then all of a sudden down to 1?! Make up your mind fellas.

The next three hours of my life were spent haggling with Kam and his manager, Mark, to try and recuperate some sort of deal. To put into perspective just how frustrating they are to deal with, it took hours of haggling for them to even agree to replace MOT advisory tires. Mind you this was on a £13,000 car. We eventually came to no deal as they refused to fix the rear driver’s side rusted & pitted break drum, despite Kam (the one and only) telling me that it “would be taken care of”. Tired of being lied to, I walked away from the car.

Altogether I can’t recommend Just Motor Group Preston. Their sales team will do anything to get you in that chair, even to go as far as lying to you. They’ll then continue this dishonesty and do whatever they can to sell you a car, unless what you want is for them to honor their word.

PS: No amount of animosity or bad air between you and Kam could get in the way of him trying to sell you a top coat or service plan. He’ll try anyway. The absolute cheek.

In response to JMG Preston’s response.

1. I asked clear and concise questions multiple times on the phone. Each time Kam responded with assurances that the vehicle came with a 5 years warranty at no extra charge. I note also that you didn’t address Kam further “misadvising” me that the warranty was 2 years. Then 1.
2. Offering me a £495 2 year warranty as a way of an apology does nothing to recuperate the £1295 5 year warranty I’ve lost.
3. Kam had no issue selling the vehicle with advisory tyres until I brought the issue up and insisted they be replaced. Your standards at Just Motor Group seem to only apply when you’re called to act on them.
4. I was told by Kam that the brakes could not be cleaned, despite him saying “We’ll take care of it”, and that the only way to remove said rust and corrosion was to replace the brakes. Which you then refused to do, quite loudly with some choice words sprinkled in. Mark’s voice carries.
5. I accept that the regulatory standards were met in relation to topcoat and the service plan. I do hope in the future though your salesmen do give customers a chance to read the documentation, as opposed to incorrectly summarise and check through them for you. I had to ask multiple times for him to slow down.
6. JudgeService is unfortunately not a great measure of your service. The reviews require a validated purchase and as such don’t take into consideration circumstances such as this. People tend to not go through with a sale when they’ve been repeatedly lied to. If you note, your Google reviews on the other hand as well as your Trustpilot reviews paint a more accurate image of your reputation as they encompass both sides of the JMG experience.
7. I have left reviews on as many platform saw necessary to warn people of your bad practices. In the future I recommend you provide accurate and factual information and deter your salesman’s poor business practices. I’d say you can’t only expect feedback when you like what the customer has to say, but seeing as you base your reputation on JudgeService I’d guess you buy into this fallacy.
8. 4 of my 19 total reviews are one star. That’s 21%, as you seem to enjoy throwing arbitrary percentage around. I’d argue that’s not a large number of my reviews.

Dear Mr Anonymous Owner,
Thank you for your further response. I agree, in all fairness to yourselves, expecting your salesmen to abstain from dishonest business practices is a tad too ambitious. Best of luck going forward.

Update; JustMotorGroup attempted to remove my review stating it was defamatory. Trustpilot rightly kept the review up as non-defamatory. Stop trying to circumvent bad reviews and actually improve your service. Underhanded tactics yet again.

I have spoken to all the members of staff involved to investigate where we have gone wrong before presenting you with my response. Firstly, I wish to apologize as it seems Kamlesh did in fact incorrectly advise you that the vehicle had 5 years warranty when you made your initial enquiry. This was a miss-understanding on Kamleshs part and wasn’t done in anyway to mis-lead or ill-advise you. Thats where the apologies stop I’m afraid. You have made some pretty silly comments in your review which I will now address. With regards to being “dishonest” and a “Typical Car Salesman”, this isn’t the case at all. As explained, Kamlesh made a mistake and by way of an apology, we offered you £495 worth of 2 year warranty free of charge, a full tank of fuel and a set of mats which were all IN ADDITION to the Service and MOT we do on all of our used cars AND the replacement of both front tyres as despite being perfectly legal, they fell below our standards as a dealership. My understanding is that you then agreed the deal based on all of this (so were clearly happy at this point) and then asked “What are you going to do about the rusty Brake Drums on the back?” we advised that these would be cleaned up but not replaced and you refused the vehicle and cancelled the transaction as you wanted them replacing. Brake drums rust very quickly on all cars due to the sheer nature of their working environment combined with their location on the vehicle. When the brakes are applied, they heat up rapidly, when they’re disengaged and the vehicle is moving they cool down rapidly which is their job. Due to their location, they also get wet in damp conditions etc. Ultimately a brand new car can have surface rust/corrosion on at 3 months old let alone the four year old one you were looking at. This doesn’t effect the braking efficiency as the rust is external only and the brake efficiency would be measured on the MOT we were carrying out regardless.

I have reviewed the compliance questions that Kamlesh completed with you and confirm that Kamlesh appears to have done his job correctly. When processing any transaction, we have a duty of care and legal obligation to offer all of our customers all of the products that we offer every single time. It is part of treating customers fairly and is Kamlesh’s job. With respect to your comments about putting these products on the order form, this isn’t the case at all. I have reviewed the order form and it shows that you were purchasing no products whatsoever. Kamlesh has correctly advised you that the third and final stage of our compliance process is the ONLY part of the process where we enter whether you have or haven’t purchased products. This part of the process as Kamlesh has correctly advised you, is done on handover of the vehicle and there for has not been completed.

To summarise, we are a privately owned and run business who are working incredibly hard in a crowded marketplace. We are extremely customer focused and currently hold 4.4 Stars on Google out of 275 Reviews. We also currently have a score of 96% with the independent survey carried out by Judge Service for the question of “How likely are you to recommend us to friends and family?” This tells me that what we do, we do right. You have actively tried to harm our reputation by giving us a poor review on several platforms despite not actually being a customer of ours as you chose not to proceed. I also note that out of all of your reviews, a large number of them appear to be one star which tells us as much as we need to know about your review. I think its best for both parties that you have chosen not to proceed with us and wish you every success in finding your next vehicle.

Mr Blackwood - Thank you for your responses. Were not interested in discussing you unrealistic expectations any further. You need to purchase a brand new car to fulfil your expectations.

Do not ever buy from this garage

Do not ever buy from this garage. Sold a vehicle in terrible condition and never stated large issues needing repaired. Went through leaps and bounds to try and get money back but was only interested in his own pocket being lined. Truly horrible human and i hope people will read this and think twice about going to these cowboys. Every excuse under the sun this garage were giving as to why the condition was the way it is. Shocking.

I am undecided whether this is an act of malice or simply a case of reviewing the wrong business as there are a few contradicting pieces of information in your review.

Firstly, Having checked our systems, we haven't sold a vehicle to anyone closely resembling your name in the last four months, unless your experience is older than this? (I wouldn't know as you haven't replied to my request for further information regarding to the purchase).

Secondly, Despite requesting information through the Trust Pilot platform, allowing us to locate your purchase, you have failed to respond. This causes me to suspect this isn't a true reflection of an experience you have had and could be either a personal vendetta against someone within our business or the totally wrong business to start with.

Finally, You quote "Truly horrible human" and "only being interested in lining his own pocket" - I have no idea who this could possible relate to within our business as the owners/directors don't deal with customers directly and having spoken to them, none are aware of anything relating to the information you have provided. Our employees/managers are of course not lining their own pockets so with a comment like that, it suggest you have spoken to a small business owner somewhere and not with us? In line with this, I can't help but feel that your experience has been with a smaller independent company and not ourselves?

In addition to all of the above, we are a very customer-focused business, who enjoy an extremely high level of customer satisfaction scores and would be well aware if we had upset someone or fallen out with them to the extent that you are alluding to. I am not aware of anyone trying to reject a vehicle or obtain their money back as generally, we work with people to achieve this if we think their experience hasn't been a fair one. I would like to politely request that you remove this review as it doesn't appear to be a true reflection of a purchasing experience.

Recently purchased a Citroen C5 from Just motor group Preston very pleased with my deal with the sales person Kam,didn't feel under pressure he went out of his way to get me the deal I wanted and explained everything on the collection of my car .Would highly recommend.great Salesperson.

I enquired about a Citroen C4 5 months old at Just Citroen Preston , when i phoned to book a test drive he said am i thinking of having it on the day of which i replied i was just thinking about it today, , the sales guy come accross as nice, it took me the best part of 30 mins to get my part exchange price up to what other people was saying it is worth, and i stated that i really did not want to get rid of my car , it was hard to do so, but he kept on saying if we give you £9000 for your car have we a deal and i felt presured to say yes , on that note i said i would go and get my card for the deposit in my car and due to the immense presure i was put under i drove of, i could not cope with deciding there and then, I really needed time to think about this as £22,000 is alot of money if i make the wrong choice, and to be booked in for 4pm in the pitch dark to view a car is not really the best idea, i called them back a couple of days later stating that i would like to buy the car, stating that i felt under presure and that i am bi polar and just could not cope at that moment in time , and he said as i am bi polar i am not in my own mind to make decisions which is totally outragous and i thought i went to a car dealership not a doctors office for medical evaluation, i would say that they are being discrimatory to a disabled person stating a comment without any facts about my mental health and will be taking this furthur with Disablity awareness , he stated to me due to my mental health i should buy a car from somewhere else , Im glad i did not give any money over if that is how Just Citroen Preston treats its customers with disabilitys , stating that they are not fit to make decisions, there after care must be appaling, he wanted me to sign away £22,000 there and then , the best thing i did is get in my car and drive of, ive never had a problem with any other garages, and this review is to identify that customers are trated as mentally deranged . also i nearly forgot that he was charging me £21995 when i have a screen shot of the advert of £21495 so who was the one playing on mental health , Ive been in contact with Disability rights uk and Citroen Head office of which Disability rights want me to send them all the details , its not fair that they treat people with conditions any different .

Thank you for your take on the situation, all because someone does not do as you say on the day and takes time to think about it does not mean that they are not able to make a decision, yes i agree i should have let you know that i was not going to proceed at that time, but your sales man kept saying if we give you what you want for your car can we have a deal now, i just needed time to think about this , but yet as recorded your sales man because im bi polar said he does not think i am in my own mind to make decisions of which i told him all because im bi polar does not make lack capacity.
Onto my car , your offer started low , I told you Kia Hendly offered me £9000 in Pex , we buy and car valued it at £8860 , but as my car was in first class condition with only 13000 miles on it and not one dent, i was holding out for my full price.
With regards to my previous reviews , yes i have left negative comments of which it seems car dealers are lacking customer service, but none of my reviews have had contradicting feedback from the owners , even a couple saying sorry we let you down ,
In no review ever have i had to mention disability , or divulge into my mental capacity , maybe we should come for Mental evaluation to Just Citroen if you deem someone loony all because they decide to leave your dealership for what ever reason
Not to mention the great feedback i have left for Nissan Chorley whom i have been a customer of for many years, and 6 months ago bought a £30,000 van from Smiths Nissan in Peterborough whom was a pleasure to deal with and left a 5 star review and even emailed chris the other day saying how wonderful my van is even though ive only done 800 miles in the six months.

Thank you for your review. It brings with it some extremely concerning points and serious accusations. I would like to address these for you. Having spoke to the team member involved who is an extremely valued member of the team and has never received a complaint of this nature before, he has explained to me that in fact you did leave unannounced and turned your phone off and refused to take our calls after claiming to go and get your bank card as your review suggests. However, we most certainly do not and have not ever pressured people into anything. If anything, my understanding is that you were the one applying pressure to give you a valuation for your car of £9,000 despite the car not being worth that to us. The Sales Executive simply asked you “If I get to where you want to be, are you looking to go ahead and purchase the vehicle?” As a Sales Executive, this is his job. We have at this stage presented you with figures, you are asking for more for your part exchange and ultimately, he is going to have to speak to his manager to ascertain if we can go to that figure. His manager is understandably going to ask, “Is that what we need to do to get his business?” and the Sales Executive is required to know this information. The reason for this is that if you had explained you weren’t ready to buy the car for any other reason, he would have simply requested that you do what you need to do and answered any outstanding questions you may have before asking about your part exchange. At this point you have the option of answering “Yes I’ll buy it, or “No because I need to think about/check insurance costs/speak to someone etc”. Nobody pressured you into anything and as a company who have a huge level of repeat customers that have bought several vehicles off us, the information within your review is simply not factual.
With regards to your comments about disabilities. We have three locations, representing five manufacturers which are all staffed by people trained to deal with Motability. Part of this training is based on handling customers with various disabilities whether it be mental or physical and as a result, we have a lot of customers with a range of disabilities who have purchased several vehicles from us and credited us with the way in which we have looked after them. We do however have a duty of care to ensure that anybody purchasing a vehicle is of sound mind and fully understands the agreement that they are entering. Your actions have caused the team members to question this and have therefore requested that you don’t proceed with the purchase. I think its fair to say that anyone taking advantage of someone with disabilities would have done quite the opposite and taken the persons money with no thought or interest as to whether it’s the right decision for them.
I note your comments about the price of the vehicle and would like to make you aware that our vehicle prices are researched on a daily basis. They are sometimes reduced and sometimes increased at various stages to ensure that our cars offer the most competitive pricing in the market place. Again, building confidence in how we look after our customers. Had you raised this query, we would have allowed you to carry out the purchase at the lower price.
Finally, I note that of the 46 reviews you have left on Trust Pilot, the vast majority of them are 1 star. In addition to this, in the last month you have reviewed six totally separate car dealerships and all of them have been one star which leads me to believe that perhaps the dealerships aren’t the problem. We are a privately owned company who are trying to make an honest living in a crowded marketplace. Your review and comments are totally inaccurate, and if anything, reassure us that you are not someone that we wish to transact with. I wish you the best of luck in the search for your new car. (Although you appear to be running out of dealerships)

TERRIBLE

Recently contacted Just MG at Keighley as considering purchasing MG4 X Power. Salesman told me that they did not have XPower demo car, but did have lesser model that is exactly same but lower powered. Perhaps he should read MGs own literature and other reviews, which state differences in suspension, brakes etc. I find it very annoying when car sales staff do not know their products and mislead potential customers, treating them with contempt.

I have just tried to call you on the number you provided this morning to discuss the matter but unfortunately, I got no answer.

Firstly, we are really sorry we did not meet your expectations on your enquiry over the phone this morning, we didn’t get chance to explain everything before you put the phone down on my Sales Executive, once he told you the X-Power was not currently available for test drive.
I agree that a Sales Executives knowledge is of the upmost importance, and although in an ideal scenario, we have all our staff, fully trained on every model, all of the time, before handling any enquiries, it is not realistic.
I appreciate that’s no excuse for giving you incorrect information if you feel this is what happened, however, I think you have mis interpreted what the Sales Executive was trying to explain before being cut off.

I think this was a case of the Salesman trying to help, with the nearest thing we had available, as the X-Power has only just arrived, not been prepared for the road yet, and is also not registered as a demonstrator.

I would kindly ask you consider the fact MG is brand new to us, with only having our door open for a matter of weeks, and a brand-new product for our sales teams, who are working through training daily, and still learning product knowledge.

A 1-star review like this is extremely harsh in my opinion, unless my staff went out their way to be rude, or deliberately mislead you to gain a sale, but this was most certainly not the case.

It’s very easy for an individual to do damage to a business leaving a review like this, especially to a new business, and we would really like the opportunity to put this right, we will not know everything all of the time, but we should be offered the opportunity to find out for you.

I have to say, I am somewhat concerned that looking at your Trust Pilot reviews, of 40 reviews left, 39 are poor. In my opinion, you seem to have been fairly brutal and given poor reviews when if ours is anything to go by, these businesses appear to be trying to help you. There are a number of Car Dealerships included in your previous reviews which leads me to think that perhaps there is an ulterior motive to your reviews or maybe your expectations could benefit from being realigned.

We would very much appreciate if you would re-consider your 1-star review.

Pretty perfect service!

I bought a used (demonstration model) Hyundai at the Preston branch - dealing with Mark S. The whole experience has been perfect and painless. Mark did everything he said he would do (and more). I independently test drove the vehicle, Mark talked me through all the options for finance and add ons but with no pressure, I paid the deposit and picked the car up 2 days later. He gave me the details for drive-away insurance when my insurers couldn't get their act together in time and spent plenty of time handing over the vehicle making sure everything was working as it should and I was happy.
I've been so impressed with the service I received, I've already had 2 family members saying the Just motor group will be the first place they look for their next cars.

Service from Justmotorgroup Hyundai. Preston

We bought a new Hyundai from the Justmotorgroup.Ltd in Preston, Lancashire in Sep 2020. We recently took it back for it's 2nd Service. From the beginning the service and straightforward honesty we have received first from the Garage Sales Staff and then from the Service Staff has been superb.
When they completed the Service to the car, it was returned feeling better than brand new. They even upgraded the Sat Nav, which has transformed and much improved it. There was another problem we pointed out to them, which was not part of the service, but they rectified this when they had no need to do so. They, therefore, go the extra mile to keep the customer happy. We would highly recommend them to any car buyer.

I found Just Citroen brilliant!

I found Just Citroen, Harrogate fantastic. They managed to find me the exact car that I wanted (and I am very picky) and kept me up-to-date with everything. The staff were very welcoming and always ensured I had everything that I needed.

My full experience was handled confidently, professionally and confidentially. I can not recommend this place enough and will be forever grateful for the deal that you found me and I will be back.

Finally, since my experience, they have helped both a friend and a parent of mine find their perfect car too and helped with any warranty and insurance for peace of mind. Thank you to all of you at Harrogate.

Gene Hunt runs a car dealership in Harrogate

Ive passed this onto the motoring ombudsman today, Motability have taken evidence and I've written to the ministers for Trade, equality and disabilities regarding the treatment I had from this company
Given the semiconductor shortage , I knew getting a car would be difficult so when Alex at the Harrogate branch sourced not one but 2 E-C4s in the flesh with a £500 advanced payment rebate I thought I couldn't let this go. That was 4 months ago. The truth of the matter was there never was any cars and Alex had placed a factory order, not even giving me the option of colour when it became blatant the car hadn't even been built yet
I never received an order form either, it took my son to speak to the sales manager to eventually get an unsigned post dated order form dated 11/11 for a car ordered on 01/10 with an est. Delivery of 27/10.the Sales manager also denied knowledge of my order being anything but a factory building a sinister twist But because I had tried to get the order form and some solid information, I received menacing emails questioning why I had spoken to others
This carried on until January when I was told by Motability there was a delivery date of 13/01 and had my charging point been fitted, unfortunately, there still wasn't a car
Reaching out externally for assistance my case was passed to the director Kevin, what happened next showed the arrogance of this outfit.Having been asked to resolve any issues and put my mind to rest, the director, cancelled my order in what can be best described as a misogynistic manner, " wishing me luck , hunting for a car" and talking down to me , his customer like a little woman, who should have had the privilege to have been taken for a ride c

He never, like a professional approached to hear my grievances and fortunately for my my timescale of events is stored and filed under Cowboy Car Dealers and proves the exact opposite to what he has quoted or been shown by his employees.....miracles don't happen when there's a conductor shortage AVOID THIS COMPANY

Re. Response the constant tirade of abuse, You sold me a car that didn't exist TWICE!, told motability it would be delivered within 3 days when it hadn't been built and I was that upset with the belittling attitude of Alex and the constant lies I had to get my son , a motability accredited salesman at another very well known national company to take over correspondence with your company.
I still have the emails if anyone wants to see them ....including the very patronising one from yourself after Motability recommended liaising with senior managment a d YOU decided, termination of the contract was an easier option than both resolution and an explanation for both the lies and intimidating emails from your salesman
Incidently , you wished me luck on finding a new car given the circumstances. I was behind the wheel of a brand new EV within days. It pays it seems to avoid independent companies. THANK YOU VERY MUCH LOOKERS NEWCASTLE X

We take all reviews very seriously and use it as a way to measure our customers experience and provide the feedback to the teams on the frontline to ensure we are always improving and keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront of our minds.

However, your review is absent of some the facts that paint the full picture, as I am sure you well know.

Due to a shortage in various components, the supply of new vehicles was very restricted at the time that you placed an order for your vehicle. As was explained to you during one of your telephone conversations, the C4 was always on full factory order. If this was miss-communicated or miss-understood then I offer you my sincere apologies. However, it is certainly worth mentioning that whilst your vehicle was on order, several members of the team were subject to a tirade of verbal abuse from you on the telephone which the company certainly do not tolerate. I even had my holiday interrupted by a member of staff who had forwarded your rude email and advised that they simply refuse to speak with you again. At this point, your email was forwarded to our Director who rightly made the decision to terminate your order and not supply you with any services going forward.

We are a privately run company who pride ourselves on having a large database of fantastic customers who are very satisfied and have bought their third and fourth cars from us and in some cases, even more. We treat people how we would expect to be treated and we go above and beyond to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied. We try to provide a 'Non-PLC' approach and as a direct result of our hard work and dedication to customer service, we were nominate for Citroëns 'Dealer Of The Year' award and so far this year to date, have received 100% recommendation from our customer Feedback platform for the sale of New Vehicles and a 97% 'Would Recommend' score with Judge Service for the sale of our Used cars.

What the company do not tolerate any form of, is abuse to our employees who work tirelessly to maintain these high levels of customer satisfaction and achieve targets. For this reason, your order was cancelled and you were notified accordingly.

On a final note, I see that out of 7 reviews that you have left on Trust Pilot, 6 of them are '1 Star' and even include another Motor Dealer. In addition, considering you complained to so many bodies, we have never heard from any of them some 7 months later. I think this tells us enough about this story.

Response to your reply - As explained, we don't tolerate abuse of any kind. Your reply suggests that you feel this was justified which confirms that we made the correct decision in not dealing with you. In addition, were now 18 months later we still haven't heard from all of these people you reported this too. The fact you have a son who works for another Dealer Group confirms that your poor review has more of an ulterior motive.....

Great expeience with Just Motor Group

I bought a Citroen Nemo van from Just Citroen in Harrogate last year. I understood that they are a Citroen main dealer and the price was definately top end but it was nicely prepared, supplied with a full tank of diesel and came with 12 months Citroen warranty.
The vehicle was nearly out of warranty when the clutch release bearing started to get noisy. I rang Just Citroen in Preston and took the van in for inspection. They agreed that the bearing was on its way out and booked it in for repair.
They had the van for four days but lent me another for the duration. They replaced the clutch release bearing and rectified two other problems that I wasn't even aware of.
The whole experience was friendly, smooth and hassle free.
I can highly recommend Just Motor Group.
