We bought a JonoKnife at the BBC Good Food Exhibition in June. The salesman (?) was brilliant as is the knife. It glides through bread cutting accurate slices as thin as you might ever want. No pressure needed, the blade is ultra thin and sharp as a razor blade - care needed when handling or cleaning!
This is probably the best bread knife I have ever used, I wish I could give six stars!

I've just used my shiny new bread knife for the first time on a fresh-baked loaf of sourdough. Wow. I'm seriously impressed. I can actually cut thin slices for the first time!

I am 61, for over 40 years I have never used a knife that cuts soft bread, such as tiger bread, without flattening the loaf.
I decided to spend the time to find a knife that cuts soft bread like soft butter, I found Jonoknife.
It makes it so easy for my children and I to cut bread, I am surprised everyone does not know about it, and have one !!

I bought a Jonoknife for my husband for Christmas and he is thrilled with it. It slices through the crispest bread like butter. Not only that, we invited a neighbour for a bread and cheese (also a Christmas present) lunch and chose some very crisp bread. She was so impressed with the Jonoknife that she has ordered one herself! I also had a very helpful reply to my email enquiry prior to purchase from Jonathan himself....which convinced me to buy this knife rather than a cheaper version. Priscilla

I bought one of the latch bread board and bread knife sets in walnut for a gift for a friend after seeing one at my friends’ place. Customer experience was top notch with fast shipping and delivery.

The actual pieces are exquisite, they really elevate the look of a kitchen, especially in the beautiful walnut wood. One very happy recipient who went out and bought a loaf of bread immediately just to test it!

I'm in Canada, my daughter's in the UK and bakes amazing sourdough bread—she's also left-handed. I bought the left-handed XL oak JonoKnife and cutting board set for her for Christmas and am feeling brilliant!

Daughter: Seriously! The amount of effort that would have take me, cutting a 4 day old loaf with the regular bread knife, and today...a breeze! Effortless!

It's not easy to trust an online purchase...I'm thrilled with this gift! I wish they delivered to Canada, because it would make a great gift for some of my people here too!

I was a bit cynical at first when I tried the knife at the Spirit of Christmas fair, but seemed to work really well so bought one. Having been using it for a month now on a variety of different breads including really crusty sourdoughs, it’s a complete revelation. It slices with very little effort, and you can slice really thinly as well, if you want to make melba toasts for instance. Love it so much, have just bought four more for Christmas presents!

I’ve owned a left handed JonoKnife for about 10 years and it cuts bread better than ANY other knife, serrated or not, electric or manual. I’m just about to upgrade to an XL because I’m now buying big handmade sourdough boules from the farmers market and need a longer blade. These knives cut through the crusty top easily and do not deform the loaf as you go through the soft centre. It’s then easy to cut through the bottom crust. It’s also easier to keep the thickness even as you cut through for some reason. If they seem expensive, consider that I’ve only just sharpened mine after 10 years use (an easy job with a dremel and a steel) and I’m sure it’s got another 20 years of use in it. These things are really well made and a delight to use.

Is what I can say about the knife. It’s actually effortless to cut into my sourdough now, I am not sawing away especially at the bottom crust! Thus giving longevity to my poor bread knife that was doing that job.
Also the board with the groove is an excellent idea! It means I don’t get those scratches in a wooden board as much nor am I sawing into my plastic ones.

What a bread knife! I love fresh bread, particularly sourdough but I have always been terrible at cutting an even slice.. this knife is a game changer. Even slices every time and it’s like cutting through butter.

I highly recommend this knife and it makes a great present too! Something everyone needs - they just might not know it yet!

Had this knife for 6 months and never knew I needed this in my life. It is a revelation, you can cut bread straight from bread maker and as thin as you like with great accuracy. As we only cut bread with it you do not need wash it up . It comes with a magnetic blade guard which is much needed as it is very sharp.

The Jono Knife is magical! We witnessed it in action at BBC Good Food in June, and were amazed. We purchased a board and knife set as an 80th birthday gift, plus a knife for ourselves. It not only is absolutely brilliant for cutting bread and bagels, it's also fantastic for tomatoes. Just be sure the give the blade a careful wipe with a damp cloth afterwards. The Jono Knife deserves five stars, if not more.

This knife is a dream so precise and easy to cut any bread. We got a good deal at the South of England show a few weeks back and have used it a lot already.

I was given a Jono Knife as a gift a few years ago, and today, after frequent use, it is as good and as effective as it was on the day it was delivered. It is the best bread knife I have ever used. Since then, I have recommended it to a neighbour who makes his own bread, and he is delighted with it. I have also given a knife and a breadboard to a friend. He and his wife also say it is excellent, and the best bread knife they have ever had.
Last year I bought myself the breadboard to use with the knife and it too is superb.
I cannot recommend this product highly enough. And the customer service is second to none. All in all, excellent products from an excellent company.

I have just bought a bow knife for my left-handed brother, we received one as a gift about a year ago and love ours - perfect for home-made bread. Customer service is excellent too : )

The knife is AMAZING!! My husband bakes his own sourdough and after trying out a few bread knives this is by far the best :)
