If u are looking to make a connection…
If u are looking to make a connection then a mainstream dating site would work better. In order to "connect" with someone u first have to spend 5000 credits on that person. That is an incredible amount of money. Once that is completed u have to submit signed declaration and consent forms together with all your personal details and a video of u holding up your official document. Add a letter from your bank showing your credit score (no UK bank would ever reveal that to u) and then they would consider revealing the other person's email address. The "actual people" are apparently professional teachers, accountants, doctors, surgeons, police officers, dentists, CEO, nobody works in a supermarket or other low paid careers. By the same token, I challenge u to find an ordinary looking girl that maybe overweight or even ugly... they don't exist on this site. The messages flow thick and fast as one other person said and I was once asked to send 3 virtual gifts so the recipient could convert them to money "for the orphanage". Whether these are women looking for love or scam artists i really don't know but I suspect there's far more to it than we know. Also, don't try to sneakily swap details, the software flags it and censors it so it cannot be read.

My experience raised serious concerns about how this site operates
I joined JollyRomance and was surprised by how quickly I received a very high volume of attention, messages and interactions from extremely attractive profiles.
What concerned me most is that, within a very short time, the conversations led me to purchase credits in order to continue interacting. I normally NEVER pay impulsively for dating-site conversations, so the fact that I was persuaded to do so so quickly made me stop and question what was happening.
I then started paying closer attention. I received repeated messages from profiles even when I did not respond. Many messages followed very similar patterns: engaging personal statements followed by open-ended questions designed to keep the conversation going. Some profiles continued contacting me repeatedly over several days without receiving a reply.
Then I decided to test something very simple: I removed my profile photo.
At that point, my profile had almost nothing left on it that could reasonably attract someone’s attention. I stopped engaging and did not respond to these conversations.
Yet the activity continued. After my photo was removed, I continued receiving new chat invitations, new messages, likes and favorites from different profiles. One woman added me to her favorites shortly after my photo had been removed, and new women continued initiating chats with me.
This is what I found particularly difficult to reconcile with normal dating-site activity. These were not simply old conversations continuing. I was receiving new expressions of interest and new attempts to initiate contact after my photo was gone and while my profile contained very little information.
I cannot know from the outside whether these interactions are automated or AI-assisted but I can say with certainty what I personally observed: removing my photo and essentially disengaging from the site did not meaningfully reduce the stream of new attention. And this is particularly suspicious.
I believe this platform warrants independent scrutiny.
I would particularly like to know how these interactions are generated and whether consumers are being given a clear and accurate understanding of what they are paying for.
