From modest beginnings in Enfield as a single store in 1971, Jollyes has now grown into one of the leading pet food superstores with over 100 locations across the UK alongside a market-leading position in Northern Ireland. From Perth to Plymouth, Newry to Norwich, at Jollyes customers can find anything for their pet, from pet food, pet toys and an array of pet accessories. Customers are actively encouraged to bring their pets into store, while customers shop because Jollyes people are passionate about pets. Potty about puppies and crazy for cats, no matter what the animal, store colleagues are always on hand to help with anything from product advice, to picking the perfect pet and accessories. Many stores also run community clinics offering vaccinations and other advice from trained vets. And if one of Jollyes stores isn’t close by, there’s helpful advice on Jollyes website where you can ask the expert. Jollyes was named 2023 Pet Retail Chain of the Year at the Pet Industry Federation Awards and was named best retailer under £250m turnover in the 2024 Retail Week awards. Earlier this month it was also named for the first time as one of the best big companies to work for in the Sunday Times annual survey. Below par groom
While the staff were friendly and cared for my dog well the groom itself was well below par. Very little hair was cut off and several areas have not been touched at all and I have had to trim delicate areas myself.

I used to buy dog food from you, but sadly our dog died in 2023.
I still occasionally call in to buy wild bird seed, from your Ilkeston branch.

Company has stopped having loose dog…
Company has stopped having loose dog biscuits. And worse, didnt have the biscuit wanted in the new packets. Have to go somewhere else now.

Maybe review your staff training.
Each time I visit the staff are slumped over the till and complained about hours being cut. I sometimes don’t even receive a hello at the till as they are so enthralled with their conversation.
I visit at least once a week for pet supplies and nothing has changed in a year.

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were approachable and very happy to answer my queries on some of the products. Just makes for a nice shopping experience (and is why I shop there).
