The Bonnet App is well worth subscribing to. There are 2 levels of subscriptions, £2 a month gives you 10% off the normal charger rates, whilst £8 per month gives you 15% off the normal charger rates... Se mere

Started using Bonnet back in March 2022 and never used it much, as the weeks went by more networks were added like ESB & Genie point. A fair few networks now and should be more over the coming month... Se mere

I signed up to the app as I was in London and wanted some fast and affordable charging. Got to the charge point, logged on, watched them take a £30 preauthorisation and no power came out. I tried the next charger. Nothing. I went to use the charger again and it tried to take ANOTHER preauthorisation, but by this time they had depleted my entire debit card balance. I had £3.69 in my account because their systems are so janky and useless.
I got in touch with support. The person at the other end was absolutely disinterested; "sorry, I can only apologise" and other insincere platitudes that mean absolutely nothing when spilled out on behalf of a company. I asked them to manually fix the problem as I had nothing left in my account (it was by now 3pm and they had literally taken my lunch money, ironic that this is a term used for being robbed) and no way to get to my next stop. Eventually I was on hold for a ridiculous amount of time and had to get a colleague to come and charge the car from his Octopus card so I could move the car. As a result I had to cancel my next job which cost me money.
I contacted Bonnet; they simply don't care. They offered me £5 to use within the app! Bold of them to assume I'd ever use it again, much less be swayed by an offer that is one fifth of what their inefficiency cost me.
Go elsewhere. There are tons of other better, more honest companies who'll actually help you when things go wrong.

charging through bonnet is okay, ordered the RFID pass. The app tells you it's between 3 - 5 working days. After 2 weeks contacted support and they told me it's gonna take another few weeks...

They didn’t address the weakest flaw of fast battery degradation due to air cooling versus the standard liquid cooling or even answer their own question in their own title (How Long Do Nissan Leaf Batteries Last?) By supplying an estimate on time due to this flaw. What a joke, misleading readers to a complete waste of their time. I'm a newbie to Nissan Leaf’s and in two days know more than was revealed in the vague and Un-answered question in their own Title. They need someone brave or at least knowledgeable enough to answer their own question in their own title. I wonder how many like myself will avoid the lacking and ambiguous joinbonnet.com websites in the future.

Il existe beaucoup d'app pour les bornes de recharges. Je trouve que Bonnet est la plus facile à utiliser.
Ils ne noient pas l'utilisateur dans une UI lente, ils donnent des instructions claires. Je recommande.

It’s a ripoff. I was plugged in for 4‘10“ on an AC charger, charged a total of 45kWh on a car that accepts 11kW AC max and Bonnet charged me the full amount for the 45kWh plus an overstay fee of 3‘30“ for not charging. Total scam.

My current EV Public Charging tariff was about to renew and double in price, so I was looking at all the networks as to who provided the best tariff for my needs. Spoke with Kevin at Bonnet on instant chat, went through my specific needs, and had the perfect solution the next day.

I stopped at Cobham services and needed to use one of the Ionity chargers. The charge-points all had a "no card payment accepted" sticker, so I loaded up the Bonnet App. However, every attempt to start the charge process ended with a "payment not accepted" error or "card expired" (not until 2028!). Despite numerous attempts with Apple Pay & my debit card. Finally I loaded the Ionity App instead and was immediately able to charge with my debit card. Which completely defeats the purpose of the Bonnet App.

Je croyais avoir trouvé le bon fournisseur. Tarif super (du moins au début), fonctionnement simple, support très facile à contacter et réactif. quelques défauts aussi : infos minimales sur le net ou via l'appli, l'appli n'est qu'en anglais.
Mais comment se fier à un fournisseur qui peut augmenter ses tarifs si rapidement et autant ?? Je laisse tomber Bonnet.

How disappointed! I thought I had found the right provider. Good prices (at least to start with), easy to use, responsive and friendly support. A few flaws too : miniml info on the net or through the app, app in english only.
But how could I trust (or recommend) a provider who can increase its prices so much and so fast ??

The very helpful (and prompt) telephone agent called Cherry, managed the query I had on my Bonnet subscription - and even suggested a way of saving even more money. Certainly a company I would recommend!

Like many with an EV main charging is done at home. An app like Bonnet is designed for people like me and of course those who regularly use for day to day charging. Today i needed the use of the app my account had 50 kWh rewards standing the transaction was declined because a valid card they have used before was they claim declined. In truth I do not believe them but even if that was true 50kWh is more valuable than £30 pre authorisation payment anyway.
If Bonnet want customers they need get the act together fix the app In my case I used a competitor app but be cautioned if you actually need Bonnet it may well fail you. Hard to recommend
Thank you for the response. We agree you owed me 50kwh reward look at it like this work rewards you and you collect. When it’s your turn to collect you do not give a £30 loan. As you are aware I have closed my accounts due to no longer trusting your business problem solved

Cherry was very nice with her support. I liked that very much. What I don’t like is, it was much better to get rewards in the beginning of the app and the prices exploded compared to 1-2 years ago.

Very disappointed indeed. Was given a special offer via Heycar but never really worked properly.
Very poor communication and website is very poor.
Furthermore they deducted money from my credit card ( without my permission) and after my complaint said that terms and conditions make everything clear! They don’t and they have refused to credit me back . Very unhelpful company - don’t use them
