This was RED Hot! I really enjoyed John Lees boot camp. I feel equipped to get started on my ai journey. John is super relatable, easy to listen to and I look forward to doing more of his events.

Misleading. I paid 4K for a coaching that was supposed to be hands on using ai tolls and actually we only talk about basic marketing strategies that I am not even sure they are correct as he promotes to be viral on instagram with 2M followers but most of this videos are 3K so this means he bought bots. I send an email to the team asking for a refund as this is what he promise if we didn’t like the course and they refuse.
This is misleading.

Hi John and John Lee team,

I wanted to send you a quick message to say thank you for the last two days.

One of the main reasons I decided to come to the bootcamp was something you said at Fortune One: “The best known beats the best.” That line really stuck with me.

I’ve been a software engineer for more than 15 years, and I’m very confident in what I do technically. I’ve also been working with AI and automation for the last couple of years, so when I first saw you on stage, I’ll be honest — part of me thought, “Okay, maybe this is just another marketing guy talking about AI, Facebook tools, marketing and all of that.”

I was probably a little sceptical because I already had a lot of technical knowledge, and I wasn’t sure how much I was going to learn from that side of things.

But what I realised over these two days is that technical knowledge wasn’t actually what I needed most.

What I really appreciated was the mindset behind everything you teach, the intention you put into what you say, and the way you think about selling, marketing, exposure and taking action.

One of my biggest takeaways is that being an expert at something doesn’t necessarily mean you know how to make money from it, communicate your value or get people to know who you are.

I’ve spent a lot of my career focusing on being good at what I do, sometimes probably too focused on making things perfect and working behind the scenes.

The bootcamp reinforced something I really needed to hear: sometimes good and out there is much better than perfect and invisible.

Launch things. Put yourself out there. Run the ad. Post the content. Speak about what you know. Let the market give you feedback instead of spending months trying to perfect something privately.

I also really liked the idea of being more failure-driven — getting things into the market quickly, seeing what works and what doesn’t, learning from it and improving. As an engineer, our natural instinct can sometimes be to keep building, improving and optimising before anyone even sees what we’ve created. I’m starting to realise how much that can slow you down.

The value for me was everything around mindset, sales, marketing, positioning, personal branding, exposure, communicating value and, most importantly, actually taking action.

And I’m already starting to take those actions now.

Unfortunately, I won’t be joining the Diamond program at this stage. I’ve already invested quite a lot into other Fortune One programs, and I’m also planning to step away from my full-time employment soon to focus more seriously on building my own businesses, so I need to be conscious of what I commit to financially right now.

But I know I’ll see you again. And next time I do, I will have taken action on what you taught. I’m going to put myself out there more, move faster, get things in front of the market and use the feedback — including the failures — to keep improving.

I want to come back with a stronger business, more exposure and real results from actually implementing what I learned over these two days.

Your bootcamp complemented my existing skills in an area that I genuinely needed, and I really appreciate that.

I just attended the John Lee Social Media and AI Bootcamp in Sydney. Totally blown away! For an AI virgin it was eye opening in so many ways. Initially I was against AI, as human connection saved my life when I was hit by an extremely traumatic time. I recently even wrote a book on The Future is Human but I want to thank John Lee for opening my eyes to what is possible with AI while maintaining human connection as our priority.
