Jewel Qudsi is a one-stop destination for fine gems and beautifully crafted jewellery, showcasing the natural brilliance of gemstones sourced directly from the rich mines of Sri Lanka. Established in 1989 by Fazal Mohideen, a London-qualified gemologist, we have built a trusted reputation over more than three decades for quality, integrity and exceptional craftsmanship, supported by a skilled and experienced team. Located in Colpetty, in the heart of Colombo and close to leading hotels and embassies, we serve discerning Sri Lankans, expatriates and international visitors, offering not only exquisite jewellery but also the story and romance behind every gemstone. Our collection includes rare sapphires, rubies, garnets, amethysts and topazes, carefully selected, expertly cut and transformed by our in-house designers and master craftsmen into elegant rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets and necklaces. At our state-of-the-art factory in Colombo 03, each piece is designed and manufactured to export-quality standards, conforming to European quality controls. We also produce special jewellery collections for designers in the UK, Australia and Switzerland. We are proud members of the Gems and Jewellery Association of Sri Lanka and the International Coloured Gemstone Association (ICA), reflecting our commitment to ethical sourcing and global standards. Our mission is to deliver exceptional quality, true value and unmatched service, while staying at the forefront of global trends through participation in major international gem and jewellery exhibitions worldwide.

Quality, fair prices and especially, trust

Jewel Qudsi is the only place where I would buy jewellery or stones in Sri Lanka. You can trust the quality, the prices are fair and Fazal and his team give excellent advice on design. I've been going there for years. My husband and I got married in Europe and waited a few months until our next visit to Sri Lanka so we could buy our wedding rings from Fazal.
