Good customer service makes JD amazing and its also what makes the place ever amazing. Keep it up.

Just an amazing gym. Machines are up to date and really push you. Would say maybe need some massage guns or end of work out machines to make it that much better. But absolutely love this gym would recommend to anyone

Helpful staff and very polite and friendly

I've recently joined JD in Widnes and I'm extremely impressed. The equipment selection is superb, the availability of the equipment is also excellent meaning you can go on any item whenever you like even when it's really busy. I'm thoroughly enjoying my time in there and am looking forward to heading back in every day.

Clean and tidy, and a nice friendly atmosphere

I have a difficult schedule so looking for flexibility Widnes JD sports has la few yoga classes and I don't have to book in advance. All of which fits in with my life style so found this aspect great. Not really interested in other aspect but went on the tread mill which they seemed to have loads of. There is a sauna not tried yet

2-3 weeks ago the company I work for prepaid my gym membership for the next 6 months, even upgraded the membership to PLUS+.
I didn't cancel my direct debit because I expected JD Gym to stop taking money out of my account, but last week JD Gym took £22.99 again, so one time they take money from the company I work for and the second time they take money from my bank account.
I cancelled the direct debit and emailed JD Gym customer support and asked for a refund... I'm still waiting for a reply!
This morning at 3 am when I tried to visit JD Gym in Widnes I was unable to enter the gym because the system would not accept the QR code on the app, possible reason JD Gym cut off access to the gym.

App worked great and no problems gaining entrance. Lots of machines to use and people cleaning them down when i was there.

I attended the kettlebells session for my first to the gym and the instructor Zack was very good. I wish there were more dancercise type classes available as attending classes were the main reason I rejoined but the range of classes are good but maybe somewhat limited.
Impressed by the cleanliness of the gym and all the staff I have come across so far are very friendly.

Plenty of classes.

Modern upto date equipment. Clean. Machines a bit cramped together but they have a lot of them.

I love going to the gym it’s my new favourite thing, and all the people there are lovely and judgment free.

Shower area outdated with weak pressures on showers and toilet area not best. Equipment needs updated.

The equipment is really good , and the price is brilliant , but that means the gym is packed at peak hours so can’t train how you would like and every time I go there is no blue paper/disinfectant and all the equipment is covered in sweat and sticky every time I go minging …

Very easy to join online plenty of equipment available and I'm enjoying the Yoga.

Only been at Widnes for 4 or 5 days now and loving it. The amount of machines, benches etc. is great for any weight lifting, and there are loads of cardio equipment as well.

Only downside so far is how busy it is before 7am, but this is no fault of the gym.

Made the jump from PureGym to JD last week and can honestly say it's a huge improvement, being able to chill in the sauna after a workout is so helpful for the pain. Equipment is top notch too. Happy I made the change.

I liked the layout of the gym its well equipped tidy and clean, I don't like the fact that you can't see the volume of people in the gym which I could on my pure gym app,
Also there was no induction I didn't get shown the fire escapes I don't even know if there's a defibrillator in the gym for emergency

Good experience on my first visit. Need to time next visit as gym was busy and no opportunity to get in some of the weight equipment
