Gym is so well organised and stuff is so friendly and helpful.
I have felt really welcomed on classes and by personal trainers after a long break from doing sports.

I have checked quite few gyms around and has got impressed by yours the most.

The only thing it’s quite annoying for me as I like spin , is the fact that for most lessons it seems I would need to come 1 or more than 1 h earlier to get the place. Think it should be more bikes available then.

Will give myself some time to check, how often I can get on these classes :)

The gym equipment is rusted and makes squeaking sounds. It seems like nobody cares about keeping the dumbbells or any weights in the right place, not even the JD pt, managers, or the customers. I don't understand where the money is invested when the equipment is outdated!

Special mention zero hygiene in the gym. There's no sanitiser at the gym or paper rolls to clean the equipment—sad state.
Ending my term with JD. Back to PureGym, cheers mate.

Nice modern clean enviroment, good value. Some machines not quite up to the job (bikes). Would be nice to have some Swiss Balls etc as well, minor points overall though, Great value for money

Staff are very welcoming & supportive. Jd itself is very clean!. Caters for everyone. Spacious.. excellent gym all round.

Broken equipment, when flagged to staff, the response was to just use something else with no indication the equipment would be fixed
Toilets and changing rooms are closed outside of core hours
The gym and changing rooms always smelt really bad

For me it's ok, you don't have to change anything

Great set up and atmosphere within and around the gym site

Lovely spacious, clean gym with lots of equipment and friendly, approachable staff.

The men's toilet stinks 😩. That smell is a mix of poop and sweat , poop on the higher side, I don't go to the toilet anymore. Other than that, gym is good

I've never been to a gym before. The first member of staff I asked for help seemed to find it a little funny but she did go and get another member of staff who was very helpful. For a 1st time experience I really enjoyed it and glad I joined 😃

It was only my first visit to a JD gym today, but I will admit very well laid out and loads of duplicated kit so no waiting and today was a busy day.
Some of the kit had parts missing which made it difficult to adjust but overall kit was in good condition.

Clean friendly environment

Not happy at all as they took money out even after cancelling my member ship. Its was more than 21 days . I just wish I had cancelled the direct debit
So for all you wanting to do the cancellation I would advise you canceled warned about this. U literally have no time to cancell right after the payment has gone.

I am going to spead the word and make everyone aware of this

JD Gyms customer support is useless!

The company I work for prepaid my gym membership plan.
Three weeks ago JD Gyms closed my account for no reason, when I tried to log in I saw that my account had expired.
I see on the company website that it continues to pay for gym memberships, but JD Gyms has closed my account.
I contacted JD Gyms customer support repeatedly and they reply in 7-10 days with useless replies, their replies are that they are not responsible for the customers accounts, today I asked them who is responsible for their customers accounts, now I waiting for there reply.
It's a stupid situation, they are getting money and at the same time freezing customer accounts.
My next step will be to move to Puregym, I received this offer from the company's HR and I will accept.

It’s not a bad gym at all, it’s not the best gym I’ve been too, but still good.

Pro’s;
Lots of variety of equipment
More than enough benches, smith machines, barbells.
Huge free weight area (bigger than most gyms)
Plenty of cables
Friendly staff.

Con’s;
Lacking a lot of attachment/grips
Certain machines are very outdated (as in over used, need replacing)

I don’t want to be picky, I’m talking like the pec dec seat feels unstable, seated chest machine doesn’t give you the stretch on the eccentric part of the lift as it’s supposed to, it’s just the odd thing here and that, in my opinion some of the resistance training machines need replacing upstairs

Another fantastic week of spin and burn with Nicky Moore, you need to try it to understand why everyone is talking about it. Nicky’s classes at Warrington JD are always motivating, hard work and a good craic. They push you to the max and if you’re not ready to do that Nicky will be by your side “literally” to make sure you do at the same time checking in to see if you’re ok.

Nicky’s classes are the best, she’s super motivating. Always get a good work out!

Nicky’s spin class is brilliant full of energy and very welcoming she makes everybody feel welcome and involved and is always on hand to help. You no its good when every class is full could even do with more bikes

Joined JD Gym Warrington the beginning of April 2024 and have been going to Nicky's classes every week. Absolutely love them, she pushes you and works you hard but it's the perfect motivation to keep you going. Highly recommend Nicky!
