Awful. No staff, no organisation, lots of broken equipment, everything is in the wrong place/ all over the floor doesn’t look like anyone gives a s*** about this place.

Nice gym! lockers need improving
Nice gym, plenty of machines, seems fairly clean too. Only issue is a lot of the lockers are broken or damaged meaning you can’t use them. Some machines also need fixing.

Oh no! We're really sorry that you were unable to gain access to the gym on this occasion, but please don't let that be your last visit...
Our gyms have barriers at the entrance which you can open using our contactless entry app. If you are unable to gain entry for whatever reason, there is a green button near the gates. Press that and it alerts a member of staff to your presence. Someone will come over to help.

In drastic need of a refurbishment
Been a member since it was Xercise4less. Still using the exact same machines since JD took over. Drastically needs a refresh with equipment and the interior of the building. I find it so dark and generally demotivating. In addition to that, the majority of the staff members have recently left. The staff that remain can either be found using the gym for their own personal workouts/hanging around with their friends or chatting up female gym goers. Work responsibilities seem to be the least of their priorities.

Need more stair climbers!
Been coming to this gym - Sheffield South - for a few years now (back from when it was Xercise4less). Good size, equipment mainly good - odd machine not working but when they’re used all the time that’s to be expected.
Weight area - sometimes fighting for weights or plates and some inconsiderate entitled’s think tank to bully you off things so they can have the weights! 🙄
My only real gripe is there’s PLENTY of treadmills, and ONLY 4 stair climbers!!!! 🤬 ridiculous! They’re super popular and you need MORE JD!!!!

I joined the gym for zumba class
I joined the gym for zumba class. The one I had on Tuesday zumba step was amazing. But the class on Thursday was total disappointment.
Only to know that zumba step class isn't there anymore. And I'm stuck with the other trainer.

Raised dues without warning, management is terrible when you raise sanitation concerns
started charging more for membership without warning, extremely dirty gym, nothing to wipe down equipment, management blows you off when you report issues, women’s bathroom is always disgusting and management refuses to replace 2 out of the 3 toilet seats that are completely broken. Don’t go to this gym it’s not worth it

Great gym expereince
The facilities are great and always clean. The atmosphere is motivating, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Whether you're new to working out or a pro, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Machine equipment's are falling off and…
Machine equipment's are falling off and ripped to shed like someone has been eating them. For the price JD charge each month they need to upgrade the equipment's! I only got my membership at the start of the month and unless they upgrade the equipment, I will end my membership and go somewhere else.

Very friendly gym
Very friendly gym, good selection of classes and facilities; such as women only area. Staff are lush; would recommend to anyone regardless of fitness level.

Gym has never changed it’s equipment…
Gym has never changed it’s equipment most of the times machines are broken or struggling to work most of the things in the gym are from the old xercise 4 less nothing has really changed apart from a few climbing frames

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible.
If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.
