Been going to gyms since 2004 and jd gym is by far the best. Super friendly staff and members. Massive gym. Plenty of equipment havent had to wait to go on any equipment. Very clean and great environment to work out in . Very impressive. 5/5 for me personally

Obsessed with the refurb 🫶🏼
Absolutely buzzing for the refurb went in today just as it opened and wow the gym has been transformed I last went to JD gym 3 years ago after changing to another one now I’ve changed back and it’s perfect the staff were so lovely helping me with the new machines and supporting if needed well done JD would love if it could be 24 hours and we could get some sort of idea how many people are at the gym like pure gym does but for now will stick with early door sessions so I know it’s not too busy!

My first experience at JD Gym
My first experience with JD Gym was a great one. The location was prime, the facilities were good, the gym was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The gym doesn't have enough machines…
The gym doesn't have enough machines and the waiting time on the machines most of the times is over 20 minutes.

Overall very good gym
Members of staff were very helpful when I had problems entering the gym and gaining gym access, the people and the staff are polite machines are very good equality, amazing atmosphere as well overall amazing experience. I’m very happy I switched to JD gyms I highly recommend.

Great gym in Manchester
Great gym, very spacious with a variety of equipment for everyone, very clean and sauna in the changing rooms. Great price for the services. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I only go JD because it’s very close to work, and no other choice, very poor gym goers etiquette, very few good weights equipment, for those of us that lift, it’s very hard to get a good session.

Sub-standard
Outdated equipment, water so hot in the shower you can't touch it, no soap in the toilets and no cleaning products to wipe down equipment... this gym is sub-standard in almost every department. I used to go to Pure Gym and will be rushing back.

i was in gym this morning i did my best work ever i been to four machine i was chatting one off my new mate she is very good we did same time but miss alex she is staff she com to me she said you toking with other girls i have long terms frinds mostley staff i was thinking live this gym and mr sarfrez he is bulling me as well i lov my gym but thing not going my way naseer

Poor Wifi
The gym was okay but the wifi was really bad, it was a problem for me to even enter the gym.
Couldnt even listen to my songs on spotify because of it

Terrible gym
Terrible gym - insanely busy even at off peak times, not enough equipment for everyone and an absolute mess. Don’t waste your money!

I’ve joined and left this gym a few times and overall it is a good gym. However, there is a noticeable amount of equipment and facilities needing to be repaired currently. Compared to what I’ve seen of the other locations, this branch seems to need a little tlc. Staff are friendly, which is an added bonus!

Thanks for leaving us some feedback.
Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible.
If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

Unfortunate Change of Environment
I’ve been part of JD gyms for 3 years now and I’ve seen the gym environment shift. From being here a long time, I’ve entered a change of energy with a staff member at the entrance due to a rude remark he made towards me as I was leaving. It was unnecessary and from then made me uncomfortable to be facilitated at the gym even if it’s to ask a question at reception, it just put me off as a whole. If this is the gym that I decided to go to for three years now seeing the energy of the gym change this way with the facilitators (Not PTs) then it’s unfortunate. Overall I choose this gym because I felt most comfortable here, good location but very old machines which are maintainable and apart from that there are the PTs who are friendly and are passionate about being here and helping even when not necessary. I give my props to them.
