Good, friendly instructors and a full timetable. Enjoying pilates and I am looking forward to trying Kettlebells, body pump and JD tone.

Lose 2 stars because the acoustics in the studio are awful and it's very cold.

Overall good value, and I like the fact you don't need to book classes.

Really enjoy the place and the atmosphere. Coming from Greece, such a selection of equipment in a such a cared for environment at such a price is just insane.

Clean and friendly gym. Great classes.

Nice Gym and we’ll laid out with helpful staff. Just need a few curve runner machines for the strength and conditioning type of training to go with the Air bike, Skierg and tower. The gym could also do with some resistance bands that can be signed out the gym office.

As a first time visit to the gym ,didn't see anyone on floor to assist.

I started a week ago I really enjoy the JD GYM a lots of machines specially squats there are too many you don’t need to wait comparing to another places

So much equipment and machine that makes it easy to workout even when it's busy! Very clean environment! And great ac/heating!

Many of the devices need maintenance, and some tools are damaged and need to be replaced, such as tension ropes and hand grips from the bars.

The gym is well equipped and spacious, with very good staff.
Unfortunately the company JD Gyms is penny pinching so much it's ridiculous. The air con is monitored at all JD Gyms to ensure it's not used too much, no matter what the temperatures, so they can save money. Also the toilets frequently run out of toilet paper as the gym only receives a certain amount at a time. So if the local gyms run out, there is none left until the next deliveries. Which can be days. Staff have even resorted to buying toilet paper out of their own pockets and not been reimbursed for expenses by the company. No wonder the turn over of staff is so great. So members can either bring their own toilet paper or head into the shopping centre to use another toilet. It's ridiculous how much penny pinching goes on, so the company can make maximum profits. I previously paid £10 per month for full uk access at any xercise4less gym and now pay £25 at JDgyms. Members should at least get toilet paper and have the air con on when needed. Please stop cost cutting all the time to maximise profits for the company, at the expense of the excellent staff and members. I expect a generic company reply as usual.

Gym is great value and well equipped. Only downside is rude users who hog the multigym equipment while sitting on their phones for 5 minutes between reps.

Totally loving the zumba classes in Thursdays and Saturdays !!! This is the reason that I joined the gym !!👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love the atmosphere. Not the best quality equipment, but not in bad condition. A good selection of machines, which is a plus.

Shame the weight plates are all over the place. Clearly the gym doesn't cultivate a situation with users where everyone pits the weight plates back in the correct pegs, EVERY SINGLE TIME. This simple and easy change would make a huge difference to users and speed up workouts (because we do have to hunt around half the gym for two matching plates.

Limited cable attachments, so I'll probably have to purchase my own and take them with me. This is a shame.

Nice Gym for Dundee big retail space used for the Wellgate Shopping Centre lost of people use this gym as quite a central location for users in the centre of Dundee

It’s a good gym with good machines but a gym shouldn’t be within that hell hole of a shopping centre. Vans don’t fit in the car park either so if you’ve only got a work van then you can’t use it. Very limited parking around that shopping centre, I got a parking ticket today. Terrible location

Plenty of room and clean and nice people . What more can you ask for

The gym is decent, nice equipment. Clean etc but the AC isn’t really good. It’s far too hot in the gym. Training hard in a warm gym isn’t fun at all.

It’s the one thing that may stop me from continuing my membership. Otherwise it’s great. Staff actually smile and are welcoming, unlike other gyms where PTs come across as aloof and unapproachable.
