JD Gyms - Bury Anmeldelser 

Staff were enthusiastic and keen to resolve my problem, which was a transfer to the Bury gym and issues with access through the gates.

Bury gym a good size, equipment is pretty good they do seem to have s small issue if things do break takes a while to get fixed. Place gets very busy early mornings. All in all this is a good place for the price. Couple of things to mention though 1 accessing gym is limited to once a day it seems of you come back you don't seem to be able to scan you have to ask to be let in. If access is 24 hour it should allow is to come back on same date. 2 class booking isn't possible so you have to just turn up and hope plus finding what's on isn't that easy never been on a class on the floor as can't tell who's doing what. All on all not bad for the price

Good value for money and good choice of machines. Only downside but it’s a pretty major one, you constantly have to look around for plates and dumbbells. I know this isn’t the staffs fault, it’s the members who are lazy not putting their equipment away. There is a sign saying the rules are to put them back, but I’ve never seen them enforced by staff, so the onus goes back onto them, especially when I’ve seen staff let it happen. It’s so bad at times I’m thinking of going to another gym like Kings if it doesn’t improve!

JD gyms shouldn’t be called that any more,they need to be called film studios.This is where young adults go to set up their tripods and film themselves for LIKES.
It has now got to the point where you are actually surrounded by these fools and you are in the wrong if you walk past them filming.The staff do nothing,how
about my right to privacy and go to the gym to actually train without being subjected their filming.
It’s now got to a ridiculous point and JD you need to put something in place,how about telling all the budding film stars to go in a studio together.

Air conditioning is really bad. Always and I mean always hot. Although the gym has air conditioning it’s static and doesn’t circulate. The gym itself and staff are brilliant but the air conditioning really is an issue, so please sort out. Everyone is moaning about it

JD Gym Bury is a great place to workout! The staff are fantastic, in particular general manager Angie who has really helped me this past week. Thank you Angie. The class timetable at the gym is great and includes Body Attack / combat / pump, and also JD spin. There is a great social scene at the gym, everyone both staff & members are very friendly.

I have used two gym sites and I’ve had a good experience up to now

Last year I was not happy with a number of aspects of the gym including cleanliness and the staff. Since Angie the manager has taken over there has been a great improvement in all areas. She is very approachable, listens to members concerns and takes immediate action. This is very refreshing. I feel very happy at JD gym Bury and I am sure this will continue with Angie as manager.

Been going to this gym since it opened was always doin my own thing but never pushing myself hard enough till I started the classes with jayne deckin she pushes you to the max and I love every class!!!
Jayne is fantastic and the best!!! 🥰

The best gym I’ve ever been too

I joined this gym when it opened and kept my membership on going consistently since. This is all down to Jayne deakin. She absolutely pushes you to go beyond what you think you are capable. She’s the one who makes this gym what it is. Without knowing, she has made me much more gym confident than I ever has and I hope she reads this. Thank you jayne

Excellent gym with good state of the art. Awesome trainers and classes. Really enjoy the Les Mills classes Body attack, Body pump and Body combat with Jayne. Highly recommend.

Amazing gym with brilliant facilities and welcoming staff. Fun and motivating classes that helped me get back into cardio training. There’s a big variety of classes and all are welcoming and enjoyable. Robs spin classes are top tier and are always a laugh whilst still being a good workout. Definitely recommend.

Having sustained a torn patella tendon whilst at the gym. Your staff were amazing in looking after me.

Especially Rob who went over and beyond duty of care for me, offering to go to a local shop to get me ibuprofen and water, Phoning the ambulance and generally making sure i was comfortable. He never left my side and even carried me to a car with his colleagues so I could get to the hospital.

I can’t thank him enough for the care and empathy provided to me during this difficult time.

Absolutely amazing and credit to your company.

I knew I had to start exercising and so I tried JD Gyms. It's a place I feel so comfortable in. The staff are welcoming and helpful. I now train with one of the PTs who’s made such a difference to my confidence and improvement in my fitness. The classes are good fun and my favourite is Ben's LBT! If you’re looking to join a gym, try JD Bury out.

The personal trainers are friendly and helpfull and the gym is kept very clean and the equipment is kept in good condition

Clean gym very attentive to detail,loving the classes and the team is fabulous nothing is to much of an ask

My son lost his phone late at night in the Bury gymn. It didn't look good as there was no sign of it anywhere and it wasn't handed in. Obviously, it was a huge problem for him. Anyway, my faith in people (and JD Gymns!) has been massively restored after the phone was handed in later and put by in the office. Big thank you too whoever handed it in and to Angie the mgr who was just brilliant. One happy dad and son here 😀
