Gym is fine. Male toilets however hasn’t had hand soap since I joined, the toilet cleaning checklist sheet has been signed every hour, every day although that’s not being filled?

In a gym of all places that should be paramount.

I’ve had no issue with the gym itself but the women’s toilets are mad. Majority of the time there’s no soap (esp when hitting peak hours later in the day) which is filthy in a gym, like 2 of the doors don’t work (can’t shut) and when one does shut there’s a massive gap so anyone could see you. Think maybe there’s a lack of cleaners too because they’re always running out of toilet roll.

Large variety of equipment catering for all fitness needs. Gym appeared clean and had a friendly atmosphere

Great facilities, everything you’d need and plenty of it. Easy access and easy to cancel if you ever need to.

clean, lots of machines in order for everyone to be satisfied, easy to use.

JD Gym is what iv been looking for in a gym plenty of equipment to choose from and with it been 24 hours it means I can train when iv done work I would recommend JD gyms to anyone from beginners to advanced they cater for all fitness levels

Could be a bit better such as sauna being on past 10 o’clock seen as tho it’s a 24 hour gym also changing room unlocked because it’s a 24 hour gym

Gym Equipment is massive and l love the support from your Staff.

I love the machines within the gym and the amount of machines makes it easier for me to jump from one machine to another. Also, the saunas are a great addition allowing me to relax after workouts. However, the dumbbells are never placed back in the correct order so it makes it a little difficult to find 2 of the same Dumbbell. This goes for the weights aswell, they are similarly not often placed back. Finally, some of the machines dont have pins, i know this isnt your fault but you could try implement an anti-steal for your machines (some machines do have this but not all)

The gyms facilities are great, there’s a variety of machines and training types. It’s also always very clean and the changing rooms are always spotless. My personal trainer (Ellie Ingham) is amazing - she’s super friendly and always adapts but pushes you to suit your needs!

I love JD gym Barnsley. I joined over 3 years ago and since then the gym has become more than a place to workout it's a safe space with friendly staff who make it feel like home.
Ellie is my PT and she goes above and beyond for not only me but all members of the gym she has a passion to make JD the best place to train and give honest, friendly and helpful advice. She takes pride in the gym with moving left equipment cleaning up mess, always ensuring the gym is kept to a high standard. If I could give one bit of advice it would be that over the past 3 month the cleanliness of the toilet's/ changing area on a morning hasn't been kept up
with.

I love the gym since it’s refurb, but Ellie is also great! She really looks after the space and environment. It’s always a pleasure for me to bump into her, so helpful and lovely xx

Not enough parking, spent 20 minutes driving round waiting for a space. The gym was busy which was made much worse with most of the machines missing there pins. Then on leaving at about 8pm the car park was pitch black as there were no lights on.

Good equipment great atmosphere

amazing equipment, could be more staff members walking round to help as i’m a beginner and i am unsure on quite a lot of the equipment

Amazing gym but needs a cleaning station

I really like the new glute area offering more equipment besides traditional machines you’d find in any other gym. Hybrid area is great too for CrossFit. On the downside, it gets busy with lots of hoggers on their phones. Gym often looks messy with equipment all over the place, missing weight pins etc, but I supposed it’s meant to happen in practically unstaffed gym that’s open 24/7.
