I ordered chicken and beef stock, but the delivery never arrived because it was held in customs. When I contacted customer service, I was told this wasn’t their responsibility and that I would need to complete forms and pay an additional £61 in customs fees myself, then chase them afterward to request reimbursement.

I decided not to accept the delivery, and the parcel was returned to the company. However, my refund was not processed automatically—I had to follow up multiple times to get my money back.

Overall, I spent around 8 hours calling and emailing different parties, only to end up with no product and no timely refund. Very frustrating experience, so please be aware before ordering.

Lying customer service representative Irem. I wrote to them after 2 weeks of Parcel Force not delivering my parcel. They said they would contact them and were very nice. Week after I said I still had no parcel and therefore asked for a refund and they stopped being nice and said I should chase my parcel on my own. I said I did but got no response from Parcel Force. This email and all the others remain unanswered for 2 weeks now. Finally I received a response from Parcel Force that some info from the sender is missing and they should contact them - ERGO - they never did although they promised to do so in their first email. A month after ordering I have no product, no money and not even a response from the jarmino customer service.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Jarmino, both with their product and their customer service, and I want to share my full experience so others can make an informed decision.

The Product
I purchased their "Organic Collagen Powder" and followed their instructions exactly: mixing in hot water, stirring thoroughly, even trying different temperatures and soaking overnight. No matter what I tried, the collagen never dissolved properly — it remained clumpy, gelatinous, and undrinkable, with a deeply unpleasant taste and smell.

Jarmino claims the product can be consumed as a drink, but in reality, it behaves more like powdered gelatin or bone broth concentrate. This is not made clear at the point of purchase. Even after escalating the issue, their only solution was to suggest I add it to soups and stews — foods I had already told them I don’t eat.

Misleading Advertising
They later admitted that their product is not hydrolyzed collagen (the type that actually dissolves well), but natural bone broth collagen, which is inherently less soluble. Yet they still market it as a dissolvable product and do not adequately communicate the limitations in their product description or usage instructions.

Review Suppression
After being prompted to review the product, I submitted a genuine one-star review via their own system — it was never published. When I asked why, they falsely claimed the decision was up to Judge.me (the platform they use for collecting reviews). I contacted Judge.me directly and was told that Jarmino has full control over what reviews are published. In other words, they selectively hide negative reviews, giving a biased and misleading impression of customer satisfaction on their website.

Customer Service
When I raised all of these points with Jarmino, I received dismissive, copy-paste responses that completely ignored the details I had given. It wasn’t until I marked my email as a complaint that I even received a reply.

When I pointed out their misleading statements regarding reviews, they accused me of “threatening and blackmailing” them — for simply stating that I would leave an honest review, contact their e-commerce platform, and report them to consumer protection bodies if they failed to address my complaint.

Summary:
- The product is not fit for purpose if you're looking for a drinkable collagen supplement.
- They misrepresent the solubility and do not warn about the product's limitations.
- Negative reviews are filtered, creating a false sense of satisfaction.
- Customer service is dismissive, evasive, and unwilling to take responsibility.

I’ve since filed a complaint with the Verbraucherzentrale (Germany’s consumer protection body), reported their review suppression to Judge.me and Shopify, and will continue to share my experience across other platforms.

There are better, more transparent collagen brands on the market. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

I am upgrading to 5 stars now! Customer service softened a bit and proved helpful so I will not cancel my subscription. I can only say that everyone has an occasional off day and their products, as I said, are brilliant.

I have downgraded my review to one star and would give a minus 10 if I could!
Jarmino have responded to my complaint - extremely badly and with discourtesy. You would have thought they would want business of around £100 a month but no. They deny they said certain things about changing the courier despite my showing the correspondence which plainly shows they did. In short you can't believe a word they say! They refuse to cancel my susbcription until the next delivery in a month. I will never use this company again.

I would give 5 stars for their products but am having really bad experience with their service.
Having ordered quite a few products from this company in the past, and found them to be efficients with no problems with them sending as imports from Germany, I decided to do a monthly subscription as you save money this way.
They have two methods of delivery to the UK: UPS and Parcelforce. UPS make things VERY difficult as you can't tell them to leave in a safe place but Parcelforce are brilliant.
My first subscription came via UPS and admittedly it was my fault, as I forgot you have to select the courier. I emailed them and they promised to send via Parcelforce in future.
However, they are sending the second subscription via UPS despite promises not to. I emailed them several times but have not even had an auto-reply.
So I went on to my account and discovered there is no option to cancel my subscription! This is awful! It seems you are locked in with no option to withdraw.
I have now emailed them asking to cancel future subscriptions. Will they respond now?
If they don't I will have to cancel with my bank!
I would recommend their products but whatever you do DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!
