Do NOT order anything from this company. As the other reviews say, they will not ship your order or refund you any money despite promising to do so. I ordered books I needed for a university course in September 2021, and at first I accepted that it would take a bit longer than normal to process the order and the shipment due to the pandemic. Several of my university professors have recommended using Jamalon so it felt like a safe website to use, but even though the website might have been a good option in the past, something has happened to this company and the customer service is the worst I have ever encountered.
After contacting the customer service several times about the order still not being shipped, I finally got an answer in the end of November where they said that they could only ship two books, since they hadn't received the rest from the publisher, even though another customer service person had said the week before that the books would be shipped within two weeks. I decided to cancel my order instead since I would not have been able to get the books in time for my course anyway, and they said they would refund me. This never happened. In February, I was told they would fix it the following week, and since then it has been almost impossible to get in touch with them and they have not refunded me.
They have removed the chat function from the website and replaced it with a "Contact us" request box which I have used several times without any answers. They have also made it impossible to comment on posts on their Facebook and Instagram accounts, which is an indicator that there are a lot of dissatisfied customers, since they used to be very active on social media.
Last week I was finally able to get a response via email. I was told that to get a refund, I have to submit a claim with my card provider, which I have done through my bank and I hope I can get my money back that way. It should be noted that this step is only something a customer should take when it has been impossible to reach an agreement with the company, so the fact that Jamalon themselves are referring their customers to do this is not a good sign.
