I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jacobs Steel, I bought my flat through them then used their rental service whilst I traveled and they looked after everything from vetting tenants to managing maintenance. Using Chapel Road branch of Jacob Steele estate agency to move from retirement apartment to ordinary flat. Matt West was the main agent helping me from purchase through to sale. He was always friendly, diligent and helpful. Once I found the right place Matt could be relied Upton to chase things up with others in the ‘chain’ and regularly gave me updates either by; email or by phone. I was never left wondering about progress. Completion did prove longer than hoped due to inefficiency of estate agents at end of chain in Surrey NOT doing everything that Matt did. He regularly went out his way (and not part of his remit) to ring and chase them & even guide them as to what questions they should be asking of financing organisations at the end of the chain! Matt West and all the staff at Chapel Road Worthing branch of Jacob Steele were helpful, efficient and always communicated back to me on any situation. I have dealt with many agents over the years but I have to say this was the best experience I have had to date. Greg the sales manager advised a sensible approach, highlighting issues that stand out to potential buyers. I felt more than confident in Jacobs Steel hands with regular updates from the highly efficient Laura the branch manager, who leads a real team. With other agents I lost contact with the guys in the office as once the sale is agreed they then refer you to a ‘progressor’ who does not know you, never met you and does not know your circumstances. Jacobs Steel has expert knowledge of the Worthing market, has a good list of potential buyers, a willingness to be proactive and call those buyers and the marketing skills to show your property in the best light. I would highly recommend Jacobs Steel, and have used them for buying and selling.
