Ordered bag stating dispatch in UK next day. Email received saying now two weeks. Didn't meet my needs. Emailed and used Contact Us to cancel - no response. Now unsure if this is a genuine hand made bag company in UK. Background research telling me no. Looks like money lost which is disappointing.
Got the Connemara messenger for my husband's birthday. He's fussy about bags and this one passed first time: the leather is soft but thick, the buckles are proper brass and it sits nicely across the body. Smells amazing when you open the box. I've been borrowing it for the school run, so I think a second one is on the cards.
Mine took longer than expected to arrive, so I emailed to ask where it was. Got a reply within a day, every time I asked. Turned out one of their updates had gone straight into my spam folder, so that one was on me. The bag itself is superb: heavy canvas, real leather trim, brass fittings that actually feel solid. Would buy again without hesitation.

Can I just add how remarkable it is that this supposedly old family firm's bags are also available at Trendhim, Handsome Dan's, Cole & Harrison, Bella, Saint Door, Aussie Pacific blah blah blah
There is nothing that screams DODGY AS HELL quite like when you try to cloak your business in a a veil of barefaced lies.

I bought a canvas hiking backpack. Firstly, I think the product itself is pretty much as described and advertised: it's thick canvas with leather straps and plenty of pockets. Seems robust although the leather straps could be thicker. Generally I'm pleased and ultimately it's the product which is important.
I think the website and advertising are misleading however: I don't believe there really is or ever has been a kindly looking craftsman Jack Reid, handcrafting since 1997...
Still, when I got a bit panicky thinking I'd been scammed and nothing was going to turn up, they did email me and actually it did turn up on time so really it's all good. I hope the bag remains as robust as it feels.

You placed your order on 21 October and asked us to cancel it the same day. Your order was cancelled before it was sent, and your full payment went back to your card on 22 October. We confirmed this to you by email on 23 October.

Scam seller. Refuses to provide return details and unresponsive on refunds.
Bags and business claiming to be in the U.K. and aren’t handcrafted in UK but a China based scam seller.
I have requested return information daily for over a week and the seller fails to respond. In fact I raised the initial complaint in seeking a refund and order cancellation on 7th Oct. Unfortunately I can’t see me getting a refund.
Just take a look and see how many of the Trustpilot positive reviews are from actual verified users…
These aren’t artisan crafted products but mass produced from China. Avoid!!
