I can’t believe the number of whingers on here, complaining that they didn’t win, or that someone is profiting by running these draws. There is an awful lot of work involved here - why wouldn’t you want the organisers to be paid for their efforts? It’s a very straightforward game of chance, with lots of communication and excitement. The site is very well set up and payment is super easy. The range of guitars on offer is varied and covers most people’s taste. The team seem amenable to suggestions on different guitars and gear. I for one think it’s a fantastic site. I won a beauty of a Gretsch - but I don’t buy more than one or two tickets at a time. If you are lucky - you are lucky. I’m still going to keep entering.

I know a couple of people who have won instruments on here, so have absolutely no doubts about its legitimacy. The odds of winning are reasonably fair. I know it's a business but I might be inclined to enter more often if there was a charity element to some of the competitions. I find the live Facebook draws are a bit ... er ... drawn out. (I actually preferred it when they had the stand-in, Jess, presenting as she zipped through the whole thing in about ten minutes!) Personally I'd like to see a bit more variety in brands offered as it's very skewed towards the Fender/Squier, Gibson/Epi side of things. How about some Reverends or other less obvious brands? Or maybe the occasional amp or synth? But all in all it has been kind of fun - even if I haven't won anything yet!
