I would never recommend renting from Invitation Homes. We moved into our home in 2019, and the property was not clean or well maintained. The front yard already had an overgrown bush when we moved in, but years later they cut it down and charged us nearly $400 for removing something that was already there before we became tenants. We felt this was completely unfair.

To make matters worse, we mailed our rent on time in June 2026. However, because we disputed the maintenance charge that we believed we should not have been responsible for, Invitation Homes returned our rent check and charged us an additional late fee of more than $300. We pay over $4,000 a month in rent, yet we were penalized simply because we questioned a charge we believed was unjust.

The customer service made the situation even worse. When I spoke with a manager in the billing department, I felt like my concerns were dismissed. Instead of listening, the conversation quickly turned into, "Are you going to set up a payment or not?" It felt as though they were more interested in collecting money than resolving the issue fairly.

Based on our experience, Invitation Homes cares more about fees than about treating tenants with respect. We have been extremely disappointed and would encourage anyone considering renting from them to carefully research other rental companies before signing a lease.

I´ve been trying to sign up for a couple of months and it is impossible because either there is a Server Error or the only way to sign up is through the Gmail acount and the conection with Google doesn´t work. I don´t think anybody can sign up for the past months. I´ve tried in several browser and nothing.

Maybe around 2 years ago invitation.codes had a design overhaul and new domain with redirect to invitation.app. This new website was a major upgrade not only in speed and performance, but in design and user experience too.

Now the new website has been offline for a couple months, and the old website isn't usable anymore because the login redirects to the "new" defective site, without ever signing me in.

What a shame.

Invitation.Codes is a useful tool for keeping track of your affiliate codes. Its free version offers limited marketing features. You get one free "repost" per month to refresh a code and bring it to the top, but additional visibility requires gold coins, which are hard to come by without going pro.

While the platform promises ways to earn more gold coins on the free account, such as improving listings or adding new ones, these methods seems unreliable. After contacting support to inform them of the quotas added or improved as instructed in the programs, promised gold coin rewards often don't materialize in my experience. For that reason I do not really refer people to the app. I cannot speak for the affiliate reward section of free coins as I have not done any referrals.

Easy to use interface

Cons:
Limited marketing options in the free version
Difficulty in earning gold coins
Unfulfilled promises regarding rewards
Slow performance at times
Don't fall for the "earning rewards" requests. They never materialize.

Overall:
If you need a basic tool to manage a few affiliate codes, Invitation.Codes might suffice on the free version. However, if you're serious about promoting your links, you'll likely need to invest in the paid "pro" version, or look at some of the other applications online that does the same thing.

Be prepared for occasional slowdowns in the app's performance and some drag in loading when many app users are online.

Update 2025-12-27

Changing the review to 1-star. After many email asking about the "gold coin rewards" the program offer if you improve and introduce new affiliates, no response forthcoming. Also, no rewards paid out, despite accepting the improvements and new program listings.

Since November 2025 the company is supposedly improving the app. You can't get into it anymore to manage your profile or links.

Time to stop using the app, and find a replacement managing platform.

The company does not comply with GDPR erasure requests, emails sent to support get ignored.

The website is very well designed and I've managed to make a fair bit of money. I'm so happy to have found it. Pretty much been using it everyday for two weeks straight now.

The developer(s) are very considerate and care about their site and users. Infact, we've shared a few messages back and forth. I gave some constructive feedback about a few details of their site and they valued how much i paid attention to the finer details, and they let me test out one of their newest sites before it was officially public. Which was super cool of them. Anyways, overall their site is shiny, new, looks good, easy to use, straight forward, and runs smoothly. Ive signed a bunch of referrals through them, so thats another positive, and the devs are considerate, kind, and reply to any support needs lightning fast. 👌
