SCAMMERS - don;t touch them with a barge pole.

This "professional" firm put wrong figures into my tax return, argued with me when I told them I wasn't happy with the work they'd done, I repeatedly queried why certain figures were not being used and never got a competent answer, then having a matter of days to have the tax return submitted and still no response from these cowboys, I submitted it myself to avoid HMRC penalties, only to be told that I still had to pay these scheisters who got my figures wrong, didn't answer queries, didn't respond within adequate timeframes and who have also cocked up my registration for the VAT Flat Rate Scheme. NOW they're threatening me with a Letter of Claim for their outstanding fee. Send me your letter people. I've run out of Andrex.

I've been waiting 5 months for my 24/25 tax return, thay have told me 3 times it will be 3/4 weeks. Now I have to wait till the 6 April before they can so called contact HMRC ??? miss information, dont care bull shit liars....

They have messed up three years tax returns I had to speak to the hmrc to find out what they have done wrong they haven't sent the information of what I've earnt in those three years Which was given to insync I've had to phone them repeatedly to get them to send it to hmrc and they didn't do it so I lost out on £1.700 in tax because insync accountant refused to send it to hmrc absolute horror show from insync group my advice need to do tax return don't use insync

This maybe not necessarily for the company my rating but for one individual who helped me out massively

I was given a phone call by one of the staff members from insync about VAT returns not fully explaining how it worked which then left me in some financial issues and with HMRC breathing down my neck a very helpful agent in the name of Angelica helped me sort out the missing money and how we went about in getting my VAT returns sorted and pleasing HMRC she was extremely helpful phoned each week to make sure I was ok and the money was sent and paid off I would only recommend herself from that company as she went above and beyond to help me out and il always be very grateful to her for all the help she gave and advice to thank you Angelica 🙏👍

They're are spamming lots of messages and calls, talked to their customer support and asked never to be bothered again and nothing, don't know how to get rid of them.
note that i never was their client all i did is 10 min of conversation by phone with one of their agents and that's it

I found myself in a pickle with my tax returns as I never submitted a return for several years...

Rest assured IN SYNC to the rescue...

My accountant Ben Duncan was amazing and sorted everything out rebate pending now for previous years...

Roll on April when another return will be submitted. Moving forward I will be using IN SYNC again as the service is outstanding 👏

Unfortunately my experience with in sync accountants has been terrible. They seem to lure you in with large estimates of tax back from self assessment and then once they have been paid they simply don't care about their clients. Due to a mistake which was made on their end I now owe the tax man a large amount of money from the 23/24 tax year. They charge a large amount of money for filing the self assessment but take no liability to mistakes made.
I paid their fee which is in the hundreds and now I am told by hmrc that I owe them over 400 pounds.
My advice is to stay away as there are cheaper and more reliable accountants out there.

I initially first made contact with them regarding a rebate in early Dec and they were quick to get all my information. When it came to them promising updates and call backs I slowly found myself having to chase them up. Before I knew it I started to be misinformed by different agents. 1 told me I will get my rebate in 48 hours once everything is complete. The next phone call I had they told me 3/4 weeks. I have been in contact with them for 6 weeks now and I haven’t heard anything nor can anyone give me a reasonable response to my calls or emails. Please do not listen to anything they have to say

The worst payroll company in UK. Avoid in any cost!!!One week got payment 40£ because of short hours and what you think they took 20£ half of my payment,its rubbish not a payroll,some joke

I was fined for VAT late payment, In Sync said they would raise a dispute, I didn’t hear anything from them after this conversation and I have just found out they have cancelled my account with them without notification…..however I’m still left with the fine they caused

Do not trust this company to do your tax return they will rip you off and make mistakes on your tax return cowboy outfit

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I went with them last year for my tax return, 7 months waiting for it to come through, shocking help, just say they can't help as they can't contact hmrc.
I then had a phone call in November 23 saying that they are very sorry and will put me on an early repayment for my rebate this year (24)
Promised a reduced fee and to definitely get my rebate early this year, which I stupidly agreed too.
Now I'm still waiting even though I was promised this service.
Submitted on the 8th of April.
Again they say that they can't contact hmrc.
Friends have gone with other accountants and have received theirs already. JOKE OF A COMPANY

Do not use these people are con artists

Spent 15 months and really can’t think of many highlights. Lack of flexibility having kids and a family. Commission structure changed several times during my employment. Very backwards company certain management are totally out of their depth which is why they use an outdated form of micromanagement. I would not recommend anyone working here. If they make the relevant changes with management then perhaps they can improve. High attrition with staff which isn’t a surprise because they treat their employees atrociously. Stay clear!

I find that the company's method of calculation is at the center of the way it runs its company at the cost the people it should be representing its aim is to me to make money I have waited from when I put my claim in 28 June 2023 its now 25 January 2024 and am still waiting for the rest of my tax return
Now with the letters from HMRC I have been told that I owe HMRC based on the calculation the the company I have never missed my tax return let alone giving them money but based on how I find out how the company only filled it in November 2023 telling me you get your money after the security checks and now the company's method of calculation has brought up a red flag on my name with HMRC this is what the company has done for me

My tax has been undergoing security for 10 months. Everytime I call it's no progress. No one offers any answers other than waiting. They say they can't contact hmrc. It's becoming a joke now. It's almost time for my next rebate and I haven't been paid my last

In-Sync are a godsend! They have taken all my tax admin from me and just made it happen. So easy, worry free. Couldn't ask for more! Highly recommend.

I've had In-Sync take care of my tax for the last 6 months and have had nothing but a positive experience. The team is always on hand to help with any of my issues or queries promptly, and they genuinely care.

I've been able to claim back thousands in VAT too which has been such a help in times like this.

Avoid these cowboys at all costs.
I was contacted by INSYNC via Indigo payment solutions offering a CIS tax return service with funds available within 48hrs. After an initial phone conversation I was given a refund estimate, signed a contract for services and told a tax "specialist " would contact me later that day. They didn't. I chased for 7 further days and on the 8th day phoned INSYNC and told them their services were not required.
Since then I've recieved a barrage of texts and emails demanding payment for a tax return they did not submit. I have reminded them on multiple occasions that UK consumer law allows 14 days cooling period but still the demands come. Now they have passed the "debt" to Helix collections ( a nasty bunch of thugs ) who have made threats of recovering the money from my home. All attempts to resolve the issue are ignored and responded with treats. I am at my wits end. Please please do not use IN - SYNC group.

Really bad payroll and accounting firm. Used them for my tax rebate one year and they got me a poor amount taking a lump sum for themselves. The following year I just wanted a quote off them and they billed me for over £300. It was just a 10 minute phone call aswell.
