Got great quotes
Got great quotes, never heard back from agents, followed up- nothing. Called then I got a person, it seems to take weeks to get the quotes. I have had luck with them in the past for rental properties.

Once we received it on 02/17, we reviewed the updated details, shared the revised rate, and then remarketed the application when it wasn’t a fit. Additional quotes were provided within the expected timeframe.

At first everything was fine. And they gave me a normal price for flood insurance. BUT! As soon as I was in the process of selling the house, the circus began!
There were 2.5 months left before the insurance expired. And then they raised the insurance exactly 3 TIMES! And sent the bill to my Mortgage company. Although I warned them in advance that the house was for sale!
Then I tried to cancel the insurance from the day of sale. And it turned out that it was impossible! They don't care about the law! They started demanding documents from me on company letterheads, etc.! Although my insurance should only concern me and my Mortgage company! It is NOT possible to cancel! A week has already passed, and they still have not canceled!
Take care of your money and nerves!

Flood insurance policies—whether purchased through our agency or any other—are regulated by strict federal guidelines. No flood insurance company will allow a mid-term cancellation without official proof that the property was sold, coverage was replaced, or that the mortgage company no longer requires flood insurance.
As your mortgage company (PennyMac) is listed on the policy, their written release or documentation is required before any cancellation can be processed. This is not unique to your policy, and it is not something our agency can override.
Our team did not raise your premium “three times” or block your cancellation; we simply communicated the carrier’s requirements. Suggesting otherwise misrepresents the situation and unfairly reflects on our agency.
We understand the process can feel frustrating, especially during a home sale, and we do our best to guide our clients through the necessary steps. While we regret that this experience left you dissatisfied, please know that we are here to help you gather the correct documents so your cancellation can be finalized.

I found that with Insurox and will now see if their bundling of other policies might be more economical than what I currently have. It pays to compare as rates are always changing and increasing. Saving are available if you look for them or have someone else who can look for you. Its worth checking into to.
