I have no information regarding their response regarding claims having just joined up. However the process of acquiring the policy was very straightforward and did not, like some quote requests, require your name, address etc: possibly just an email. The email responses to questions were courteous and timely.

Mine was a non-standard request
Mine was a non-standard request, so I used the telephone to talk to someone. Every question was answered and I was able to agree to a new policy that covered my specific needs over the phone without any difficulty. However, I made a mistake on the title of the person to be covered, and this was swiftly corrected without any fuss.
