What a lovely helpful team

What a lovely helpful team. My son had a car accident and the staff were more than helpful in sharing their video content of the crash. Nothing was too much for them. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you thank you thank you xx

Just Don’t

Updated - solid rancid paint from a distributor that’s taken its website down.

Original: I thought the team were lovely and when they suggested a cheaper base paint because the one I’d selected was no longer made, I was thrilled at the savings. It didn’t dawn on me that they’d recommend a paint that may have had the same finish but smells horrendous and takes 6hrs for the next coat (as opposed to the smell free and 2hr re-coat I’d originally chosen). If it’s not actually “like for like”, maybe warn people before you sell it as “same as the other one”.

Unfortunately, the Porter's paint you initially wanted is no longer available as it has been discontinued. As an alternative, our store offered you a similar paint that closely matches the colour and quality of the Porter’s paint you originally wanted. We always strive to provide our customers with suitable alternatives when the need arises.

We can assure you that our remaining stock from the same batch has been thoroughly inspected and is not defective. We take product quality very seriously and have a rigorous quality control process in place. Furthermore, we have also reached out to the manufacturer to confirm the integrity of the batch, and they have assured us that there have been no reported issues or defects with it.

It is important to note that drying time can be influenced by various factors, including the weather conditions. As we are currently in winter, it is possible that the extended drying time you experienced was due to the colder temperatures. This is not specific to any manufacturer or batch of paint, but rather a natural occurrence during colder months. We apologise for any confusion or inconvenience caused by this.

To address your concerns directly, our store has already contacted you to explain these factors and provide you with the necessary information. We understand that you may still have concerns, and we would be more than happy to discuss this matter further and find a suitable resolution. Good size store.

Pleasure to deal with.

I've been dealing with this store for more than 6 years. The staff are very knowledgeable and offer great service. Their advice has also contributed to a great result in the paint finish.
