Robert H Ingersoll and his brother Charles founded the Ingersoll Watch Company, one of the oldest American watchmakers. The Ingersoll brothers were pioneers of industry and invention in the field of watchmaking. They devised and followed an ambitious plan: to offer Ingersoll watches to the general public at an affordable price, whilst maintaining real quality and credibility.
Based in New York City, each watch was initially produced by hand, but in 1892, thanks to Henry Ford, Ingersoll succeeded in developing a production line for pocket watches and wristwatches.
With high quality production, precision components and the very reasonable price of $1.00 (a day's wages at that time) the so-called ‘Dollar Watch’ was born.
The Dollar Watch was so popular that over one million were sold.
The Ingersoll Watch Company grew with the demand and made new advances in watch manufacturing; developing the functions and features of Ingersoll watches to create:
The smallest existing pocket watch.
‘RADIOLITE’: the first glow in the dark watch.
The first ever military watch, which was designed with the involvement of the armed forces.
The first character watch, which was commissioned by Disney to feature Mickey Mouse.
Ingersoll watches have been sold continuously since their inception and today the Ingersoll brand is renowned the world over.
Ingersoll continues to maintain the ethos of the Ingersoll brothers and is proud to present a new range of quality, precision timepieces.

Their customer service was excelent. One of them had a malfunctioning and it was solved right away.
One promotiondidn’t work for me and they right away gave another code in order to purchase another desired watch.

I recently had a problem with a watch I bought a few months ago, the problem related to the fixture of the watch case to the strap.
I exchanged a few emails and I have just received the answer to the problem, replacement screws.

I bought this The Nashville watch in a Nordic store, now I want to tell you about my experience when I received the watch, I sent the watch to order online. I had already bought watches from brands like Jaguar and Tissot among other brands, but I have never felt so much satisfaction and I was impressed when I received an Ingersoll watch. Great quality, value and design. Love it!
Website was easy to use, and purchase process was smooth. Delivery was quick and arrived on time. The watch itself looks amazing and is of excellent quality. The packaging was really tasteful, as was the leather wallet the watch came in. A touch of class. First time purchase from Ingersoll. Would recommend them and would buy from them again.

Keen for a review
On the whole, my experience was good. The only criticism is an email I received asking for a review before I had even received my delivery. I thought it had been lost in the post for a couple of days until it did arrive.
