Absolutely abysmal app. Spent all afternoon trying to enter details. Very slow, won't accept info if there is something not correctly entered but it doesn't pinpoint the specific issue, kept losing d... Se mere

The eCOS app made it easy to do my onboarding with my solicitor. Super simple process to verify my ID - much better than having to go into office to be verified.

House sale, our solicitor uses this app. Just had to contact tech support. It was super prompt and excellent support, solved the issue (which was just that the forms had expired) reset it and we were able to sign no issue.

Completely useless platform for selling and purchasing a home.
Regarding selling - over 200 questions are asked. I have no idea about many of them.
Regarding purchasing - it asks for a years worth of bank statements. Why?
The profit from the sale of my home - yet to occur - will not be shown on these bank statements.
You also need to provide so many bills or documents. You photograph them, email yourself the JPEG’s and then upload them. Took 3 hours just for sale alone!
Horrendous! If I could give 0 stars I would. Appalling. Directs you to an App to download. Won't let you complete the tasks so you end up going round in circles. Eventually went back to my computer and submitted the info that way. Had to use it as my solicitor gathers info this way. DON"T USE if you have any other option. I deleted App of my phone as soon as I finished. Hours of my life I won't get back. Must be cheap for companies to purchase, can't see any other reason to use this.
A full month after searches were initiated we finally have a report on a property. This was put together automatically by InfoTrack. Their report summary is full of errors (such as the property being subject to a compulsory purchase order) that are not present in the actual searches evidence provided. Other data is missing. According to our conveyancer everything apparently looks ok in "draft" until it is published to a PDF and then goes wrong, and there's no way to share the draft view with clients. Our conveyancer has filed a bug report with InfoTrack regarding this, and here we are sitting waiting for them to fix it so our property purchase can proceed. That a piece of legal software would entirely change the contents of a report between "draft" and "publish" suggests some pretty poor software design and testing.
Misogynist system/staff. The people or the system changed my title from Ms to Miss - the title for a child, like Master. They then swapped the sequence of names to put my husband first. These tiny acts of sexism aren't acceptable.

If I could give them a minus, I would. I have now lost an entire week on a property purchase because their system is so awful. The process is also clunky, with repetition and questions that are for their own purposes, not required for a property purchase; but the worst part of it is, the system DOES NOT WORK! It just returns errors constantly even though you have completed THEIR process.
A mixture of awful user interface and intrusive questions. For instance, it won't let you upload a PDF of a bank statement and it loves trapping you in their phone app when a PC is the right device to use.
If I want to employ a solicitor/conveyancer again I'll not use one who uses InfoTrack.
My phone gave an error when trying to run the Android app. The error was net::ERR_CLEARTEXT_NOT_PERMITTED.
To get around this the chat bot was out to lunch, the FAQs had no ideas obviously because they never do.
I found a drop down menu next to my account name top RHS and selected 'continue to mobile'. My PC showed a QR code and I scanned that and got the link to the web portal on my phone. The rest was laborious form filling for guilty people to prove their innocence in court later.
Appalling app, slow, unintuitive and full of bugs. No privacy statement.
Had to use eCOS Legal app as solicitor needed it for proof of my ID. Uploading required info. OK to use (not that slick or seamless). Once ID was approved there is no way to request deletion of your data (your ID).
Have emailed support to get data deleted - no deletion confirmation after 2 weeks.
It's ridiculous to think that a user uploads all their ID and allows an unknown organisation to store it for an unknown period. If (when) they get hacked my ID is out there.

Buggy and not fit for purpose. Accepted my ID etc all fine once, then the second time decided suddenly my ID was not suitable. All sorts of nonscence excuses from their tech support team. What a load of trash!
Our solicitor required us to use infotrack eCOS for onboarding. If we had known that we would have to spend about 10 hours trying to enter information into this abysmal website, we would have looked for a different solicitor.
The portal hangs for over a minute every time you submit any information.
It's not designed to cope with two clients providing evidence of funds for a joint property purchase and requires you to submit everything twice.
Nothing is intuitive. Nothing is properly documented or explained. There are arbitrary limits on documents, so in many cases you can't actually provide all the evidence requested.
When I phoned InfoTrack's support to find out how to complete the process, they basically told me to lie in order to get around their bad design.
Absolute nightmare, my wife and l have spent about 10 hours so far trying to complete this and still haven't finished.
Not helped by a. the solicitor sending the wrong form initially, and b. the website not loading and leaving us looking at a 'spinner' for most of this evening. Why can't we just send the solicitors certified copies of our l/D and bank statements?

Helpline requires the stuckness to be escalated with no likely response time, no option to reset. I am not sure that all of the information is strictly necessary and no alternatives to the online approach have been provided. very frustrating and time wasting experience overall.
Nice enough guy on helpline if that's any consolation (it wasnt for me)
