Mark visited my residential building in August of 2026 for a tier 1 fire risk assessment. Before the visit, Mark was excellent at communicating timings, quotes and any additional requirements and was prompt on the day. I was extremely impressed with how thorough Mark’s assessment was while he was on the property, and how comprehensive his subsequent report was. Mark was very approachable, and took the time to answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend Mark and Independent Fire Risk Assessments Ltd.

Excellent service from first contact with this company, Shaun arrived on time, he was professional and a very pleasant man. Inspection and report completed within a few days. No hassle whatsoever I can highly recommend this company.

I was late paying the invoice by 2 weeks and they instructed a debt collection agency that tried to pursue me for the debt and added 20% charge onto my invoice. They pursued me under Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations when this was clearly in my name as an individual consumer on my residential property. Not a very consumer friendly approach at all - and trying to bully me with debt collectors is just really aggressive and unnecessary. The debt collection agency has suggested that the regulations apply because I may have a paying guest at some future stage - it would be funny if it wasn't an abuse of the regulations. I'll be reporting the debt collection agency to the financial ombudsman.

We're currently working through the list of actions he provided, which are very well explained, and I feel much more confident that we have a safe house for our lodgers.
