Ordered christmas lights beginning of December. They arrived damaged, i was promised a replacement which I never received. Ignored my emails, very poor customer service.

Para el envío a España te cobran de parte de la compañía de envio royal mail 12.49£ (+ 0.94€ del cambio de divisa) y de parte de correos en el país 7.65€ (no reflejaba en la compra) por lo que el envío sale bastante carito. Quise comprar un timbre que tenía muy buen precio pero la web tiene una compra minima por lo que tube que añadir unos calcetines, un vasito portavelas de navidad y unos bolígrafos de color plata y dorado, el total de la compra no tiene nada que ver con el precio inicial, el envío en el tiempo de entrega estipulado, estoy esperando poder conectar el timbre para ver si funciona correctamente pero no del todo satisfecha porque el precio se ha multiplicado x 5 , espero les sirva de guía mi comentario 🤗

just received my two 126l pop up hard bottomed garden bags.. GREAT quality sturdy, well constructed, large size + exceptional value. would definitely recommend + would buy again.

We are both pensioners, 73 and 69, we purchased 18 bags of Cerney gravel from Christchurch in Excess, we paid for them then backed our car on to the back door, we struggled loading them into the car while 3 young staff members stood near by chatting, no offer of any help, only checked the ticket after I told them we've got our 18, maybe they are not allowed to help, but with all the oap in the area I'd be surprised,

very unimpressed went in to order an expensive hand made one off table to be told they can't sell it that day and will call me back 2 days later as it was bank holiday and the manager was away to arrange delivery etc
no call 2 days later so called them up to be told its sold this morning and nothing can be done as its now labeled as sold !
when we explained we had put our name to this days ago and this was in the order book , we were told well they didn't see it in the book and staff had not passed on message no real apologie only sorry its sold customer service nil points not even offered to try and get a similar one totally rubbish

after a quick reply from the service team explaining we would be contacted and the case looked in to quickly by the Salisbury branch 2 weeks later
we have had nil contact , no apology no care
this shows the lack of customer care and respect to anyone, no investigation, no help , no offer to order another item nothing i would never recommend this branch its a complete farce run by inept management and staff.
if only i could give minus stars !

Bought a clock that failed a few month's after purchase.

Emailed and had a reply straight away..

Sent a replacement without hesitation!

Very impressed and most unlike 99% of todays companies.

At the weekend we decided we needed a Keter garden storage box. On the Sunday we decided on the size and the model (Hingham) and found it was up to £100 cheaper with In-Excess. It was ordered, we were kept up to date and it was delivered on the Wednesday. The very best price and a faultless purchase experience. A 100% recommendation from me, many thanks!

Brilliant experience, purchased a large item which was considerably cheaper than competitors. Was kept up to date with delivery, provided with detailed and helpful instructions for delivery and Terry was quick to answer any questions I had. In excess christchurch...an ok shop and i and my dad before me have used this store...however i have become very disappointed and disheartened when my son worked there.he has adhd and has struggled to become part of working life.not many people realise how much its a struggle for them.my son gave them 3years struggled and carried on...but the management assistant manager and manager constantly bullied him,whilst also giving him far too much stress...my son had a relationship breakdown and had to move 15 miles away,but they chose to bully and not help.i would urge anyone who wants to work here be careful with your mental health.horrible management. adam.i also will never shop here again! Wages for week in hand also not paid!

I have only given 4* owing to the fact there’s a minimum order spend. Which I don’t agree with. But saying that my first buying experience was perfect. It seemed no sooner I placed order it was quickly despatched and safely received. The items I ordered were well wrapped. I have since used one item and happy as I had to meet the minimum spend limit the other item I purchased is a Christmas candle present for 2023!

Unprofessional Staff talking about customers behind their backs....

i was SHOCKED to walk back into the shop after just purchasing a very expensive dog bed (£125) to hear the staff talking about me, due to asking for a discount as the condition of the bed was was dirty and dusty and not what you expect from purchasing from a shop. i was accused of dragging it through the shop to make it dirty to get the discount (a lie as i put the bed down to look at something else and carried the bed the rest of the time, and demonstrated the condition to a member of staff before removing from the shelf) also it must demonstrate the the shop is dirty for it to get dirty by me dragging it through the shop so either way not good.

having been a customer of this store for a long time, this will be my LAST purchase from this shop and will not go back if this is how the staff talk about customers.

Brilliant customer service. I asked for the Keter Go Bar to be sent within two days as we were going away. They did everything they could to help with the request and were really helpful.

I have ordered online three times now from In-Excess.com and had a very positive experience on each occasion. They seem to specialise in selling end of line stock from known brands at unbeatable prices. Goods arrive meticulously packaged and are exactly as described. On the third occasion one of my Keter items was damaged, probably in transit or during manufacture. After a quick phone call (answered within a minute by a very polite and helpful gentleman) followed by emailing some photos to their info address a replacement arrived by express courier 48 hours later. I really have no complaints and am very pleased with my In-Excess bargains.

West End In-Excess has now closed and has supposed to have been relocated to Fair Oak, unfortunately you can't get the myriad of lovely bits and pieces or arts and crafts and and even a few nuts and bolts, so basically the useful shop is no longer available.

I went into my local In Excess in Fair Oak and bought a lovely garden furniture set. I was phoned on the delivery day, just a few days later. Both the girl at the check out desk was really helpful as was the delivery driver. I cannot fault ther service or the furniture. Thank you.
