Mickey is an excellent teacher - I took the Beginners Italian class and learned so much in a very short period of time. Wonderful experience meeting new people as well. Thank you!

Great introduction to Italian. Takes you through the very beginning basics of the language in a clear, engaging and interactive way.

The teachers were excellent, and my classmates were kind, so I was able to enjoy studying.
There were also many social programme, and I was able to make new friends.

I came to study for only one month, but during the course I realised that one month wasn’t enough for me. I decided to stay for at least one more month because this experience has been very useful, and I can see my English improving.
I really like the teachers and their way of teaching. They are friendly, kind, and always ready to help students improve. I also met some interesting classmates. We often meet after class, and it’s a great way to practise English and enjoy our time in a fun and useful way.

A wealth of materials available and lots of support in IH communities after finishing the course. I recommend IH London!

The teachers at the reception are sooo nice to guide me, help me to order another studio and keep my sunglasses.

Business English is a nice and useful course for those working people in London. I really appreciated the teacher Melanie, who gave me much more confidence and enthusiasm about English. And I felt lucky to meet my dear classmates. They are talented people in different areas.

I had excellent time at the school, the staff was experienced and friendly. In addition, they concentrates on what you need and also they know what they do. The tutors ,Milani and Alien, have done the best they can do, they are experienced and highly qualified. William and Erica have helped me a lot to achieve my goals . Lovely and friendly educational environment.

I thought of having lost my sunglasses in the school one day and not coming back again, but someone has brought them to the reception.

Great 6 week class as an intro to Italian. Mickey is a great teacher - very structured and keeps me accountable for doing the work!

Despite the tutor being a very enthusiastic and kind person - I was quite disappointed with the French Level 1 course at International House. I found the pace far too fast for a true beginner course, and the overall structure felt rushed and not particularly well-organised. There was a strong focus on grammar very early on, which felt overwhelming without first building a solid foundation in basic speaking or pronunciation.

Speaking practice felt limited and not sufficiently tailored to support real beginner progress, and essential areas like pronunciation were barely touched on. For the price, I expected a more thoughtfully designed and supportive experience. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel it offered good value.

I enjoyed our classes with our teacher, Ana Gorlova. The classes were interesting, engaging, fun, and useful. I believe, Ana is a competent teacher, but I must admit that she appeared to be a very disorganised person. Unfortunately, she sometimes failed to check our homework on time and some of our writing tasks still remain without her feedback. Moreover, she didn't send us pdf-files from our last classes, nor did she provide us with the full set of mock tests as promised at the beginning of the course (we got only 6 instead of 8). She also promised us to share extra materials as well as book recommendations that would help us to prepare for the test but these were never sent to us. I am sad to write this but I find it very unprofessional.

I have completed one course so far with IH and will definitely be doing more. Teacher (Mickey) was great and the way the modules work means it is really flexible. Great resources and perfect central location.

Our teacher, Ana, was very energetic and very good as a teacher. Her classes were very well structured and we all enjoyed them. However, it was difficult contacting Ana and having our homework corrected by her. We even finished our course with a lot of homework not checked and some mock tests not uploaded. In addition, we had a lot of online problems with her. We all understand this things can happen trough an online course but not that many times delaying the class in a few occasions.
