I recently had to cancel an item from a partially processed order with HYPE DC. I called up their customer service, and I must say, they were super friendly and helpful. The representative I spoke with made the process easy and hassle-free, which I really appreciated.

It's always great to receive good customer service, and I must say that HYPE DC definitely delivered on that front. The experience was fantastic, and I felt like my needs were truly heard and addressed promptly.

I brought some nike shoes paid $300 for them only had them for 6 months and they started ripping at the front of the shoes. I took them back and the manager said that something will definitely be done about it! Either a refund or replacement, I left my shoes with her as she was going to send some pictures to nike and said she would get back to me the next week. Heard nothing from her so went into the store and spoke to a young guy I then explained and asked for my money back and he said he couldn’t do anything until the manger was back in store the following weekend. I then returned and she wasn’t in again… still hasn’t been contacted .. 2 weeks later I get a call from the manager saying it’s not a manufacturing fault or theirs.. therefore they can’t do anything about it not even give my money back … I will never be stepping in that store ever again and I will be telling friends and family to never shop their either!! When you pay a lot of money for shoes to last only a few months and then told weeks after you take them back in nothing can be done about it at all not even a refund extremely bad customer service.

Really disappointed that the Hype Brand does not accept back to school vouchers.. have bought school shoes many times at Hype and this year was looking forward to buying more and not having to pay personally, rather the govt vouchers cover the cost.. we all know prices have sky rocketed for everything we buy. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t accept them

I’ve ordered running shoes in the sale twice in the last couple of weeks and have no complaints whatsoever. Price was great and delivery two days later on both occasions. Would definitely order from Hype DC again.

Absolutely the worst retail experience I have ever had .
Purchased a voucher online which was never sent to me.
Followed up multiple times online. The online agent, Rele, instructed me to go to a store to collect my voucher, promising I would walk out that day with my voucher. I reluctantly went in store, only to be told by Alex after more than an hour of waiting, that he couldn't do anything and he would get area manager Jeremy to get back to me Monday with a solution for my wasted time and lies. He didn't. Upon follow up Monday, he wasn't available. What a surprise. No call from Jeremy. More lies.
This place is an absolute and total shambles. I still don't have my voucher and the issue is not resolved.
I will remove my review when the issue is resolved.

Ordered a pair of shoes on sale, paid and got an order confirmation email. No dispatch email for a week and tried contacting them numerous times via phone and email. Finally got through using live chat (long wait) and was advised the order could not be completed (with no reason). On the website there is still stock but is at full price. Feels scammed and wasted 2 weeks.

I have ordered 2 pairs of shoes online but I only received 1 pair. I have sent them an email ages ago but to no avail.

Ordered a pair of shoes online and upon receiving them there was a card in the box thanking me for shopping at hype! Thanks to the team at Booranga WA store for going above and beyond.

Terrible service! They sent me a wrong pair of shoes, asked me to send it back before they give me my refund! I have sent it but until now no response regarding my refund!!! Customer service is an absolute rubbish! Marc on fb likes on keeping me on seenzone! Ethan on email doesn’t keep his words! Buying from this store online is a terrifying!

I bought a pair of loafers that turned up two sixes too small, then when I returned them (with tracking), nobody got back to me for about a month.

By the time I asked them when I was receiving my refund they acted like the shoes hadn’t even turned up.

I had tracked them a week before and the 100% turned up in their facility.

Because it had been so long I lost the tracking slip and they refused to give me my money back even though my shoes were sent back.

They stole my money. Never buying another thing from Hype again.

DON'T PLACE ORDERS ON LINE OR OVER THE PHONE..THEY ARE TOTALLY USELESS QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY..BUT TRYING TO GET A REFUND BECAUSE OF THERE STUFF UP IS IMPOSSIBLE... SHOP ELSEWHERE AS I'M TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO SUPPORT THAT STORE ANYMORE

Wow where to even begin! This company does not take responsibilty at all if you have issues with a return.
The backstory here, is my Nike Air Max were 9 days old and I had to wash them which I did. I took care in washing them how you are meant to but the suede patch nike air logo on one of the rear shoes totally became a blur and the color disappeared which is quite the defining feature of the shoes as they are white so this is what really makes them.

Taking them back to the store I was basically told because I worn them and washed them that its not their problem and I must contact Nike if I want a "free" pair of shoes. I don't need, nor do I look like I need a "free" pair of shoes. I don't appreciate being spoken to condescendingly about what material the shoes are and how to wash a pair of shoes correctly. If this was such a big thing they should have come with a warning saying take extra care with these specific shoes. I was told I could leave the shoes at their store but they could guarantee I would get them back with nothing being done about it in so many words and it doesn't matter how old the shoes are Hypes policy is if its been worn and washed not their problem as what are they as the store meant to do with them as they cant sell them.

The fact of the matter is it doesn't matter that they are only 9 days old, the shoes will need to be washed especially being white so whether this happened 9 days in or 5 months down the line, either way I would have been completely annoyed. This is not my first pair of shoes and most certainly not my first pair of Air Max and most definitely not my first pair of white trainers. Had these come with a little card with an extra warning saying please do not wet the suede or take extra care - something / anything then I would have been extra careful even though I know I was. Im never rough when I clean shoes but shoes need to be cleaned. If I have a pair of Nike Air Max I want them to say Nike Air Max on them where they are meant too. Not just wash them once and it totally disappears.

Basically then dealing with Hype DC customer service they also just completely brushed my complaint under the carpet that this is just their policy and sorry not our problem. Accusing me of machine washing them. I have never in my life come across a company that absolutely does not try assist in the slightest, Its surreal. And the best part is after getting the same generic answer back a couple of times to be told in the last email if its not what I want to hear, please take this complaint to consumer protection.

I will never step foot in a Hype DC store and it seems they actually don't care by there responses because who is one person. Their don't care attitude will come back to bite them in the bum one day. Maybe not now but it will. And until then I will make sure to steer every person I know on to another store because let's be honest there are lots of places to shop at what they stock.

Hi i don’t usually leave feedback or reviews but I would like to write a review based on customer service recieved on the 31st January at your Perth store. This is nothing but positive feedback. After going to various other shoe shops and being ignored by staff or them not having the size we required we entered your store. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and then were served and helped by a lovely team member and I hope this is correct his name was William. This team member is an asset to your team and I wanted to personally thank him for not only finding the right fit shoe to my son but I’m also the way he handled helping us and giving correct input into our school shoe shopping experience. We did have one more store to visit but thanks to his customer service and overall personality we decided to buy with you guys. I will 100% be recommending you guys to everyone I know.
If you could please pass on my gratitude and hopefully you could acknowledge his knowledge with footwear as he was so helpful.
Thanks hype dc for making my son feel important and helping us finding him the right shoes.

I bought a pair of Nike Air Force 1 gore-tex shoes online during the pandemic. They were great, looked nice and fitted awesome. 5 months later the stitching has come loose on the right shoe and now the shoe leaks in wet weather. This shoe is specifically marketed as water proof so when the stitching comes loose and a hole develops it is no longer fit for purpose. I contacted Hype and went through their online assessment process, which seemed fine at first until they said it was not a manufacturing fault and likely caused by incorrect sizing. Then after contacting Hype again and calling nonsense on that excuse they then said its due to wear and tear. It seems they will come with any excuse not to replace faulty products. They won't even give me a second assessment to actually physically examine the shoe, despite multiple requests. Poor service and nothing but excuses. I'd expect a pair of shoes that cost over $200 to last longer then a few months even if it is deemed wear and tear. I've had shoes from Kmart last longer. The matter is now under investigation with fair trading. Buyer beware.

Ordered from them online and they contacted me to say the products were sold out but they had an alternative and fixed the issue with delivery.

I'll order from them again

Went to buy some new converse online that they had, when I bought them the next day they emailed that my size is sold out. But the site still said they had them....

Got a full refund and a voucher for the next time I want something.

Recently bought vans from hype and they laced one shoe for me to try it on, I purchased the shoes and when I opened them as I got home the other shoe had not been laced. I went into the store simply asking for 1 lace for my van that they didn’t lace and they had none so now I have to go back a third time with my shoes. Ridiculous customer service.

I have used this site 3 times now and do not have a problem with the quality of product or packaging, box numbers always matches tag numbers on shoes, I have sent back many products to other companies so I don't accept garbage, as for the previous review about poor customer service, like everything else in his post he's wrong and p'ed off about something so he lies to try and discredit the company in every way, my last order was on Sunday and delivered on Tuesday, sometimes they have to ship from Perth so it isn't always this quick. As for customer service I sent a rude email when tracking (not their fault) wasn't up to date on first order and they got back to me in 10 minutes, rang the courier and then let me know what was going on. I have had problems with Reebok, Nike, Hanon(UK) but i would certainly buy from Hype again.

Bad Customer Service and Product Range - especially the heavily discounted shoes, discounted items are AfterPay, B-stock, factory seconds / defects and online customer returns %100. Telltale sign are; no inner packaging, tages, poorly repacked and of course the huge markdown price - not stipulated anywhere on the website. BE WARY!
