Warranty handled the way it should be
The reservoir in my Osprey pack developed a tear. Osprey bladders are made by HydraPak, so I contacted their European customer service. Sent one photo of the damage, and that was it: no proof of purchase, no forms, no sending the old one back first. A few days later I had a confirmation that a new 3L reservoir was on its way, with a tracking number.
What I appreciated just as much: instead of demanding the old one back, they suggested keeping any parts still in good condition and recycling the rest. Sensible, and it leaves me with spare caps and a bite valve.
You only find out what a brand's warranty is worth when something breaks. This one is worth the few euros extra you pay up front.
