Home Repair Network Limited (HRNL) manage property damage claims on behalf of UK Insurance Co's. We are appointed by Insurers to impartially validate a Customers claim in line with the Insurance policy terms, claims guidlelines and where appropriate, offer a fair settlement value or provide access to the services of an approved building repair contractor. We do not receive any commission / reward from Insurers for the outcome or value of a Customers claim. We are paid a fixed amount to provide our opinion on the cause and value of a claim. HRNL has a network of individual building damage surveyors and repair contractors to aid in the validation and settlement of a claim across the UK.

Ellie listened and dealt with so many problems that I encountered along the way and did her utmost to get things put right for me. I would also like to say a huge thank you to Sean Murphy for keeping me sane during times when I was very stressed. Both Ellie and Sean deserve a medal in my opinion!!

Shockingly bad avoid like the plague. Assessor if you can call them that was inept and had clearly made his mind up to deny the claim before he even saw the damage .

Very efficient service , good follow up and monitoring. The only downside is the approved contractors not as responsive - when the contractors actually arrived - was super !
At the start of my claim for storm damage to my roof I was told by a lady at HRNL that my roof would be stripped and re-felted so I paid my £350 excess and waited to hear from the contractor. After several phone calls I had an email from Sika construction saying they would be with me on either the Wednesday 4th March afternoon or Thursday 5th morning, they didn't turn up and then emailed saying they would be with me on Monday 9th March but then emailed on Monday morning to say they couldn't make it until Tuesday morning, well they turned up Monday afternoon put some scaffolding up, placed a single ridge tile back on the roof and then disappeared after half an hour saying that the whole ridge needed replacing and that they could give me a private quote for it. I got on to HRNL again and asked if they could instruct Sika to repair the whole ridge and the girl said she didn't think it would be a problem but after a few more phone calls Carolyn, who presumably is in charge said there was no way they would repair the whole ridge and even went to the extreme of viewing drone footage from 2024 apparently showing tiles lifting! I find it amazing that HRNL (who are supposed to support you during your stressful claim) would go to such lengths to try and prevent my insurance company paying out a few more pounds! So the upshot of all this is that I have gone from having my whole roof stripped and re-felted to having a single ridge tile put back on for £350. Had I known this up front I wouldn't have bothered claiming off the insurance as I could have got one tile put back on for less than £350! Carolyn was the most unhelpful person I have come across and needs to learn some customer service skills! I have just been reading through all the one star reviews, and there are many, and it seems a lot of people have had a similar experience to myself! It is worth noting that HRNL and SIKA appear to work hand in hand with each other, HRNL go to any extreme to do the absolute minimum repair work then hand it to SIKA who inspect the job and report directly back to HRNL to report anything that might help reduce the amount of work required but offer you a quote to do all the work they think needs doing! I forgot to mention that the loft insulation was supposed to be replaced but wasn't!

HRN completely changed my opinion of dealing with insurance companies. I had submitted a claim on behalf of my mum after a leak at her house. This was being made at a difficult time after my dad had died. Our claim was handled professionally and sensitively throughout and I was very grateful for their patience.
Our claim was handled by Billie and I’d like to give her a massive thanks especially for the way it was managed.

HRN, were very nice and helpful to deal with, they arranged for a surveyor to visit our house and check the damaged areas. The surveyor accepted our claim and passed the information back to HRN who we then contacted and they arranged for payment to be processed and it was received into our account the next day.

Chris Wall was our claim handler, though it was a long process and going through many hurdles along the way, Chris did take every effort to make sure he was providing us the best service and looked after us thoroughly keeping us updated, grateful for Chris coming through in the end.

I am deeply disappointed with the "specialist" service provided by HRNL. They sent a surveyor, Lee McKane, who conducted a so-called "investigation" that can only be described as a sham designed to reject a legitimate claim.
Despite having high-definition close-up photos showing clear mechanical wind-lift on my roof (where the lead flashing was ripped upwards by a storm), HRNL issued a report based on incredibly blurry, low-resolution drone images (see attached). It is physically impossible to assess the condition of roof fixings from such poor-quality evidence.
Furthermore, the report is riddled with logical fallacies:
• Selective Vision: They ignored the fact that the left side of the roof is perfectly intact while the right side is warped—a classic sign of directional storm damage.
• Contradicting Experts: Their conclusion directly contradicts a prior professional report from HomeServe (CAS-1872387), which validated the structural failure.
HRNL is clearly more interested in helping insurers avoid payouts through "wear and tear" excuses than in conducting a fair, technical assessment. If you are assigned this company by your insurer, be warned: they do not follow FOS principles and will use the lowest quality evidence to deny your claim. Avoid at all costs.

No doubt most, if not all, the good reviews on here are fake go check on GOOGLEREVIEWS and you’ll see how disgusting this company truly is. Just turned down my parents (in their 70s) valid insurance claim, heavy rains caused leak that has cracked and left a bulging ceiling in one bedroom, the guy that came out was nice and well trained shame he works for such SCUMBAGS. He went through what was covered and would be gotten by my parents then a few days later called my dad apologising profusely about how they’ve turned down the claim and he doesn’t understand why when it’s covered, that he fought for the claim to be paid but they still denied it. Con artists like this are the reason why insurance companies get away with their terrible behaviour and most probably get a bonus every time they deny.

Caroline was very pleasant,sympathetic and efficient in organizing someone to inspect the damage and arrange for the Tilers who did the repairs so that the whole process was completed within a week.
