*Under bonnet it was packed with fine sand up to 2-5cm thick build up in every groove, making it look like a construction site vehicle. Lot of dirt filled vaccume cleaner bag in 10 mins .
* A chipped windscreen was only rushed-fixed on collection day.
* The missing second key was withheld initially.
* Internal cleaning was botched with heavy scuffing throughout. Bad smell comingafter AC starts.
* Completely unacceptable level of preparation.

Craig was very professional and not pushy with the sale of our focus st-line throughout the whole process. He made sure we were happy at each stage of the process and we drove away happy customers!
We would definitely recommend this company 🙏

Liars the lot of them ,i would give zero but there is not no zero so one it will have to be. DO NOT believe anything the sales staff say and watch out for SARA she is the biggest liar and actress i have ever come across she should be on a stage . Cars are not serviced only only 30 day warranty and you get nothing for a trade in . The worst car buying experience in my 47 years of car buying

Had terrific service from Alan ( HPL Bromborough) . Fantastic service, bought my car ,inside 10.minutes of arrival. I have known Alan for a good few years, nice to meet up with him again. From the moment we walked into HPL motors we experienced a form of customer service that’s difficult to find in 2026. The showroom was immaculate every car we looked at was presented in the best possible condition that I felt remiss to walk away without a purchase. Even though the car I went in to test drive was unavailable I found another beauty and from start to finish our sales rep Sirak of the Oldham branch made the experience more personal than just a transaction, I walked away feeling like I made a friend in Sirak and also drove away in my dream car , he even prayed with my family upon collection. Sirak you are an absolute credit to HPL and thank you so very much to the entire team at HPL for making the process so seamless ❤️

Seamless and effortless came to HPL as I was in desperate need as my lease was going back. I spoken to Alan quality guy went the extra mile and found me the finance for the car I wanted. Very professional company who were very receptive to communications and dealt with my purchase very quickly and clearly.
Despite a slight delay and miscommunication around pick-up times and such, it was a seamless process. Shout outs to Sara who was extremely helpful and helped explain the whole process along the way.

What a fantastic experience we have had from HPL Wirral. We saw a car online from their Oldham branch and paid a deposit for the car to be moved to Wirral so we could view it. Two days later, the car arrived and we arranged to view it the following day. The initial person we dealt with was unfortunately off so we ending up dealing with a new recruit called Craig. We found Craig to be friendly, chatty and knowledgeable with no pressure to buy even on the test drive. Whilst we were test driving the car, the manager looked at our car to part exchange and upon arriving back, the price that was offered was very fair. As we were deciding, we noticed a few scuffs and dints in the paintwork and a piece of interior trim was missing. We were assured that this would be put right for when we picked it up. We agreed to buy and picked the car up the following week. We were delighted on pick up to discover that the paintwork was immaculate, dints had been buffed out and they had located an interior trim. We also discovered two expensive, brand new tyres had been fitted. A few days after buying it, we noticed there was an issue with the rear window washer. We contacted HPL who said there service team would be in touch which they were the following day. Adam from the service team was very helpful, polite and booked us in for 2 days time. Repair was done quickly and with no hassle or resistance. Whilst we were waiting with a beverage in their waiting area, Craig noticed we were back and came over to sit and talk to us and ask if the car was okay which I thought was a lovely thing to do. After such an awful experience with another dealer 7 years ago, HPL couldn't be more different and has restored our faith in car dealers again! A special thank you to Craig too, what a fantastic new recruit and credit to the company!

Since opening its dealership in Barnsley 3 weeks ago HPL motors have turned the local neighbourhoods in to a parking nightmare, parking their cars within the small residential estates, basically anywhere other than their own site ? ?

More disappointing was the poor attitude demonstrated when trying to discuss the issue with the dealership who obviously couldn't care less about its neighbours and local residents.

Considering my experience I would definitely feel uncomfortable about buying a car from them, alarm bells where ringing.
