As a House Moving company, we have insurance in place for customers that we provide a packing service for. When items are damaged this can be discussed with the office. Unfortunately, we do not know who you are or else we would contact you to discuss the matter. We do not have any recollection of your booking.
We are not movers from Walthamstow, We are House Movers and a big company that handles bookings nationally. You may have the wrong company.
Don’t Use
Priced seemed fair but be wary as it will undoubtedly rise. We gave them a breakdown of what they were removing and told them we had to vacate by 1pm which they suggested was not a problem. They turned up late without any large boxes which naturally meant everything took much longer. It took them 8 hours to pack and load our stuff. We had to do 2 runs with stuff as it didn’t fit in their van. They then demanded an additional £600 (eventually reduced to £400) to remove the remainder of the stuff from the van. We were essentially held hostage. They are untrustworthy, plain and simple.

We are a house moving company and understand that no customer likes to be charged extra on jobs. We do not have any hidden charges in the company. Every customer that is booked in with us is booked for a number of hours agreed with the customer, and we instruct the additional charges per half hour after if the time takes longer. The additional charge per half-hour is to cover the service and the number of men carrying out the moving activities.
You were booked in for a full day 8 hours booking, your job was taking longer yet the guys still stayed with you until it was all completed. We did not leave you hanging and only charged you for the hourly service.
You booked the largest van we have available and if the items and the contents of the property do not fit in the van then, of course, a second van must be booked or we will do a second trip for the customer.
The price that was requested was for the number of additional hours at the rate that was mentioned from the start. this was mentioned to the customer from the beginning as we are a trusted company with no hidden costs.
We do not hold items in the van and keep them as a hostage but we do expect all payments before unloading. The drivers were just following company policy. Also, they felt like the customer will not pay for the full service of the hard work they had carried out. Which was correct, we eventually provided a discount of £200 from the company as we still pay the drivers for their hard work and activities they have carried out. We are surprised that you was dissatisfied with the discount of £200 provided which you agreed upon yourself for the professionalism of the service that was carried out.

Refused to provide us with an appropriate sized van. Ended up giving the job to someone who couldn’t lift and had an extremely large van, resulting in extra time and charges. Avoid.

We have different size vans that can be booked with us, However sometimes the customer may receive a van bigger than the one they have requested. We do not charge extra for this and only charge for the costs of the van selected by the customer.
We will liase with the driver and see why he was not able to help with the lifting, when customer face issues like this we, we should be contacted at the office so we can sort it out straight away. If we are not informed then it is very difficult to solve something we are not aware of.
Arrived on time and professional service
Had a very late confirmation of my move. Out of all the movers I contacted, this company was able to assist me on my date. The movers arrived within the designated time slot. Both movers where efficient and professional. Everything was packed up in the required time. It is one of the smoothest, stress free moving experiences I had dealing with the company.

DO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS!
(If I could rate it 0 I would)
I had no issues when booking and customer service was great. I felt like I could trust them but it turned into a stressful nightmare.
Booked them for 2 hrs with the option of getting in the van with the driver but..
1). They arrived 1 hour and 30 something minutes late. (Bare in mind, I notified them of what time the place closed and had they been on time I wouldn’t have to call to get updates, I had a Bed frame, Mattress, Sofa, chest of drawers and couple other items and I was being asked to leave) the premises as they were Close!!! (booking was 19:30 they arrived around 9pm)
I had to keep calling to get updates and the driver had the audacity to be rude each time and on the last call he said “ I will get there when I get there” I called the agency but of course theirs nothing they can do.
2) Once they arrived I couldn’t get in the van because the drive had 2 people with him. I told them they will have to wait until I got the property as I need to get public transport to the destination since I can’t get in the van now and the drive told me “No, I can’t do that I won’t be able to deliver it so we started going back and fourth as if it was my fault. (My blood was boiling, I was irritated with it all)
3) I called the agency to let know know of what was happening and they agreed to get me an Uber to my destination and would cover £20 and I would cover the rest. Uber drive was £29 (I was not happy about covering anything as it was not what I had signed up for) and they had the audacity to say they are doing me a favour by covering £20 of the Uber booking. I WAS MAD ANGRY!
A friend of mine took over the call as I honestly just wanted to curse them out, I was ANGRY!!
4) Once we got to the destination the driver sat in the van while the other 2 men and my friend and I unloaded the van, once we got to the last item I had taken an item to my flat on the (5th floor) my friend was getting the last item but they wouldn’t release it until I paid and he now was going back and fourth with them saying I can pay upstairs etc and I had just gone up with one of his colleagues, but it didn’t matter ( It was the driver just sitting in the van doing nothing, bossing the other 2 around) my friend calls me all annoyed, I ran back down, paid them and they released the item to me. AGAIN IT GOT ME MAD FRUSTRATED.
5). And the icing on the cake was, I ended up paying for the full service otherwise I was not getting my brand new furniture. AND I NEVER RECEIVED THE £20 FOR THE UBER.
Excuse the spelling mistakes, I’m sure there are plenty.

Firstly thank you for your feedback, when we face certain issues we try our best to reflect on them and sort these issues out.
Our drivers aim to arrive within the 1-hour window of the booking time, However unfortunately sometimes London traffic, accidents, and road closures can cause delays. You were spoken to multiple times to explain they will be running late.
The driver had instructed that public transport will take ages and this will run over the booking time, from the office we checked an uber which was around £20 and we covered that we said we will cover that as well. to help with the process of the move as you were not able to go in the van. This was a way to help complete the job quicker as the guys were late and we didn't want to take more of your time.
In terms of the guys that completed your job you paid for only one man and a van, yet we had a driver and two additional porters helping you and your friend with loading and unloading. This again was us to provide an extra helping hand since you were not happy. Due to two guys working your job was completed quicker and more efficiently, we thought your friend would be happy with extra help.
In terms of payment, we always request this to be paid before unloading, which is also in our terms and conditions. On this occasion, the workers started offloading just to help finish the job, so of course, they will request payment towards the end of the job as they need to follow company policy.
We did everything we can to help satisfy you as we were a little late over the arrival period. Unfortunately on this day, you were not satisfied with anything we did to help out. we have taken your feedback and also related it to the driver to avoid future issues in regards to the matter. Our apologies for this and we wish you the best of luck moving forward

Cheap & Efficient moving company with no hidden cost (really!)
My husband & I moved from London to Edinburgh with the help of House Movers. I recommend HouseMovers service:
1. Cheapest service fee compare to other competitors (I looked at 4 other company and this was by far the cheapest by a big gap)
2. Really easy booking service and fee calculation (no hidden fee like other company)
3. The driver / mover on the day was absolute champ! Yanis!
4. The customer service was friendly.
5. Arrived within the estimated hours to Edinburgh.

Efficient, professional and polite
From the first call to Aga to the completion of the move, the service we experienced was nothing short of absolutely professional, Aga was. Polite and efficient, the two men charged with the move arrived on time and were friendly and polite. They did not hang around they got straight to the task in hand.

I can say they are best movers in London. Packed the whole house in one day and move the entire house on the second day. Good team, very relibale Ánd been carefull with my items. Booked online Ánd received confirmation via email tow men Ánd Luton van came on the day all went perfectly fine.
