Beautiful hotel near the beach. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Breakfast was exceptional. We had a great time, definitely will be back this summer.

Very pleasant hotel and friendly staff, the room was nicely decorated and very clean. I would recommend to all of my friends.

Oh wow... please be aware the Manager at Hotel Mali i Robit, is the most corrupt person. Do not take him for his word!
Myself and my brother are on a GAP Year and we contacted the Manager to see if he needed any volunteers to work for 2 months, from 12th June 2022 until 7th August (the dates were CLEARLY stated in our application email) he said he was looking for staff and so we arranged a WhatsApp video interview with him and he agreed for us to both start on 12th June. He even said he would pay us a small wage too (which we weren't expecting).
The night before arriving, we sent the Manager a message to say we'd be arriving at 1pm, in which he replied "OK see you tomorrow".
On arrival at the hotel, the Manager said the dates (we'd prior agreed) no longer worked for him, as September was his busier time and that he'd need us to stay longer.
The Manager knew we'd already been in the Country for 4 weeks prior and we politely explained that we weren't legally allowed to stay in the Country for any longer than 90 days, without applying for a residency permit.
As mentioned he knew the dates we were available to work when he offered us the role, so to agree a start date and allow us to arrive is dishonest and exploiting behaviour, which left us in a terrible dilemma, as we were at a hotel with all their luggage and belongings and no where to go....????
Volunteering is a cheap way for us to travel, as we're travelling to different Countries for a full Year, so our funds are very limited. We have been volunteering in exhange for food and accommodation, as this is a cheap way to travel, see different Countries and experience life (after the COVID lockdowns took so much of our young lives away) so now, despite pre-organising our stay at Hotel Mail I Robit in advance, we've no alternative but to return home 2 months early, as we have nothing else lined up in Albania and limited funds to stay at hotels/hostels.
To rub salt into wounds, the Manager wouldn't even allow us to stay a few nights whilst we sorted a flight home. He suddenly declared that he had a coach on 50 people arriving and no spare beds and that he would even be sleeping on the floor himself lol. Must've thought we were born yesterday to say that.
To re-instate, the Manager knew our dates, yet still summoned us there, on the assumption he could exploit us on arrival. He then had no room to even put us up for a night or two, so we could arrange flights home (had we agreed to the demand he would've had somewhere for us to stay). Honestly words cannot explain how disappointed we are. What gives anyone the right to treat another human being in this despicable way!
To think we were prepared to volunteer at his hotel, yet the Manager was happy to leave us stranded with all our luggage and belongings and not even offer to help find somewhere to stay! He should be absolutely ashamed of himself. We a firm believer's that 'what goes around, comes around' in life, so hopefully he will get his comeuppance.
We did nothing wrong and it could've very easily been someone in a more vulnerable position, so we wanted to make sure the general public are aware of this behaviour.

I have backup emails and rude insulting WhatsApp messages from the Manager proving this is a genuine, which I can provide on request. This is a genuine experience that happened.

Just to add, the Manager has had my review taken down on various occasions, so he is clearly embarrassed by his behaviour and as such I am not allowed to write his name in my review, but he is the current Manager, as he had my review from 2 years ago removed today, as I wrote his name on the review!

You can't just wipe away poor behaviour, if you treat people poorly, there will be repercussions! We never received any form of apology from you and you ruined our trip. We should really be seeking compensation from you, after what you did to us!

23/04 Follow up - in response to the message the Manager has just left. This is TrustPilot not Trip Advisor. TrustPilot is a review site for reviews on businesses based on genuine experience with that company! Trip Advisor is for holiday reviews.
If you were worried about your businesses imagine, why were you insisting that we stayed illegally for longer? We are hard working, genuine, honest people and were not prepared to break visa rules!

I provided TrustPilot will all the evidence last time you had the review removed, which was all validated and the advert re-instated, yet you managed to get the review removed, as we put your name! I still have all the details and will happily supply the evidence again to TrustPilot upon request.

From the gorgeous authentic decor to the mouth-watering cuisine, every detail was perfect. And the staff! They went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP. I'm already planning my next visit!

I loved everything! What a caring and professional team, I have never experienced a better hotel in albania. I'll be returning with my family to share these beautiful memories.

Best hotel in Mali i Robit. Easy arrival, check in, and out. The rooms are cleaned every day. Excellence views. Quiet for sleeping. Very nice location.
I enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

We had a perfect relaxing stay at Hotel Mali i Robit. Very safe place for our kids to play at the playground. Food was excellent and fresh. Staff very welcoming. Definitely recommend!
