My order went through with ease but
My order went through with ease but, the discount code was not so easy to find. The rug came in good time, but I was not please with the packing. The rug came folded up in a square parcel and not rolled up as expected. It took over a week to lose the folds.

Hi Diana
Whilst we are pleased you found the ordering process easy we are sorry you found the discount code not easy to find. To be honest the one you used is in semi retirement as we have since issued new ones and so, whilst still live, it is kind of at the back of the queue, we apologise.
The folding of the rug was adopted by Pappelina some years ago to reduce their carbon footprint. They did indeed use to be rolled but now the folded option takes around half the space thus reducing shipment costs and emissions. The box itself is fully recyclable.
We understand the initial folds are annoying but they will, as you have discovered, drop out over a few days, less if on a heated floor. They can also always be ironed flat, simply drape a tea towel over the fold and then gently iron flat on a medium to high temperature.
Now the Hugo rug is in its chosen place we do hope it is looking good and giving you pleasure.
Kindest regards

Hey D9 :-),
We love the review, many thanks and hope the LSA Polka tumblers are doing the business and making your chosen tipple taste a little better! Glassware always makes us nervous when in transit so we do tend to err on the side of caution when packing it! Glad they arrived safely
We do hope to see you again soon

Hi Sally
I fully understand your frustration, believe me we too share it. Sometimes things just seem horribly jinxed and, in this case, multiple delivery issues just piled on top of other to cause a nightmare for all. The delivery from the manufacturer to the Italian warehouse was badly delayed due to issues in the Red Sea. Then other orders gained priority over ours pushing our despatch date back. In Europe further delays occurred outside of our control and caused by Brexit. Then to cap it all the UK carrier was a week late!
We make no excuse, the logistics were indeed outside of our control, but, having looked at our email communication to you, 15/4, 30/4, 2/5 and 21/6, we certainly could have done better especially the gap between 2/5 and 21/6. I apologise unreservedly for this.
Without wanting to further light the touch paper I do hope the Mares glasses themselves met with expectations even if, on this occasion, our service level did not.
With kindest regards
Mike

Hi Carol
As ever thank you so much for your kind words and for your wonderful support over the years. In these difficult times with worldwide economic and logistical challenges it is often hard for small companies like our to maintain the service levels we strive to offer so it is always good to hear from happy customers! Hi Bridget
Simplicity for us is the key when shopping online so we do try to avoid gimmicks and complex navigation keeping it straightforward and clear so it's great to hear you found the site easy. Communication too is our focus especially with Elephant Parade all of which start their journey in Thailand and, since Covid, Brexit and, sadly, War, logistics have certainly become a little more challenging!!
Great design choice by the way, we love Tara Astamangala, great colours and style. Don't forget to make sure she faces a door or window to bring luck and fortune into your home.
We look forward to seeing you again soon

Fantastic Company
I have used this company 4 times now.
They always let me know if they are waiting for stock to arrive. They tell me what date its due in and always ship when it's available. They also gave me the option of changing to a different one in stock if I needed it sooner. Great Company. I always order in advance anyway
