First time dealing with this retailer. Delighted with the price of the product and on this occasion I needed some assistance to resolve an issue with the parcel delivery courier and their customer service department were excellent.

Easy to order and pay

Sound advice from Christian, and great service in letting me try out the Chord EE8 audiophile switch before purchase. It has brought greater clarity and texture to local and Qobuz streaming to my Naim ND5XS2, and I bought it at a great price. Holburn Hi Fi advised on, provided and installed my music system back in 2020 to my entire satisfaction. They are good people to deal with.

I’d been after a Cyrus streamer for a while to complete my system but at full price I kept putting me off. I came across this ex demo at Holborn at a good price. Easy to buy on the web site and quick delivery. Signed up for the news letter and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Again.

The in-house staff were also very friendly when I went to collect my order.

I needed a replacement record cleaning machine after my old one stopped working. After much research I decided on a Keith Monks model. Holburn caught my eye initially as it was slightly cheaper. Still undecided, I dropped a line in the chat asking if they did finance. Christian replied promptly the following morning. After several messages back and forth explaining options, credit was arranged before close of play that day.

There was a slight delay in Monks' manufacturing process and Christian phoned me to update and confirm if I wished to proceed. We had good old chat about various other cleaners but I decided to stick with my original choice, which was delivered safely this morning.

Overall, very knowledgeable and friendly company to deal with. I fully expect to shop with them again, many thanks for saving my vinyl collection.

Placed online order on a Sunday only to be emailed the following Tuesday that the item wasn’t in stock and was discontinued. Obviously order was cancelled but had to wait til the Saturday for the funds to be back in my account.
