This has been a terrible experience…

This has been a terrible experience from start to finish. Beginning with the owner telling me lies about a supposed letter from my ex-wife's legal team. They also could not achieve the money that the property is worth and rather than acting as an agent were more aligned with the potential buyers. They also advised selling for less than a neighbouring property. Eventually having had enough had the property valued by 2 other agents both who informed me that they could easily achieve £15,000 more. When I then pulled the property from them they spoke to my ex-wife's legal team lying stating that I was offered £10,000 more and also that the property wasn't being maintained. Avoid like the plague. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Hi Warren, I’m sorry to hear your experience with HMK Property fell short on this occasion. I’ve read your review and wanted to highlight a couple of points. First of all, from start to finish, we had a total of 35 viewers through the property, which you showed through yourself. Out of those 35 viewers, we registered 6 offers on the property – all of which were lower than your ‘bottom line’, and unfortunately on this occasion and despite our best efforts all potential buyers refused to increase their offers, believing that their offer was a ‘fair and reflective’ price for the house. As our client, our interests lie solely with achieving the best price for your home, your house was marketed no different than any other instruction, with all feedback collected and passed to you and your estranged wife, making you both aware of the viewers initial impressions of the property. In terms of your last comment referring that HMK Property contacted your ex-wife’s solicitor and claiming that an offer of £10,000 was registered is just not true nor was any comment made regarding the current condition of the property. We would be grateful if you could contact the office and explain where you heard this information. On a more positive note, I hope your new agent has more success achieving a price more in line to your expectations and the very best of luck with your onward move!

HMK property are fantastic

Hannah and Lynn at HMK are absolutely fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent to take us through the very stressful process of selling our house. They were always there with a helping hand or a reassuring word. They were amazing from beginning to end, from advertising the property, to showing people around and then seeing the sale through to completion.
They also use a fantastic online dashboard to keep you informed of viewings, feedback from viewings and any offers which might come in and this is updated on a regular basis so you always know what is going on.
If you need an estate agent that goes above and beyond then HMK property are the estate agents for you!!!

First-class property agency

I worked with Hannah and the team at HMK to sell my house in East Belfast. They were fantastic throughout, couldn't have done more to assist and made the whole process seamless. If you want to work with the best, off you go to HMK!
