Hipages stood by their word and put my jobs on their site for tradies in the area.
I responded to the replies and could not be happier. The tradies were so great and looked after my jobs with expertise and good communication.
I have already passed this App onto friends.

They believe they can advertise and attract the right individuals to your door with barely any review about this individual, and then have them visit your property . It is evident they are motivated by profit and spend considerable money on Google advertising to ensure their products are prominently displayed. Their approach is unprofessional and lacks consideration for the consumer.

I had been provided with 2 quotes within a few days and work started and was completed as agreed in good time with excellent attention to detail

Site is incredibly difficult to navigate, I had to download the app which wasn’t much better. The quality of the trades is below par. I won’t use it again.

Honestly, other lead generation sites are far better and cost-effective without contractual commitment. The leads here are not of good quality at all but expensive.

They only allow posting of positive reviews. This is false and unethical. I hired a plumber through this site and he was apalling. I could not leave a true review.

Avoid at all costs.

I didn't know much about hipages before I found them online and expressed an interest. One of their representatives called and honestly seemed very friendly. I explained I was considering doing some independent work in a specific trade. She assured me that there were multiple leads advertised that very day and no interested tradies. She (Kylie) also assured me I could sign up for a 6 month contract but if I wasn't happy there's a 7 day cooling down period I could activate and walk away no worries. I was a little hesitant but she became quite pushy in hindsight and persuaded me there was no risk. I signed up and logged in to view the ads she told me about, none of them were there to my dismay. I gave the site a few days before I tried to activate the 7 day cooling off period but because I selected a couple of leads not directly linked to the line of work I do I was locked in although I was lied to at the start! I have cancelled my direct debit and currently seeking a refund. They keep deflecting my complaint and urging me to update my profile. Very poor experience.

My first experience was three responses and when I responded to them there was no response from them
Second attempt I got one responses for both requests and now one is complete - locksmith and second one said would get back to me still waiting for when he can come

Where is the NO star option...I was interested to see the same from other tradies here...being completely ripped off and contract exit almost impossible. We have phoned, cancelled that many times. They had the pleasure of taking our $79 a month when for over a year we have said we are not doing any contracting work. And then they have the audacity to have their team keep phoning to try and keep my hubbie to keep signed up. On top of that I am unable to freely delete my credit card from their system. That in itself is an issue. I would not recommend any tradies to use, just advertise via social media and hopefully customers will support small business and not utilise this system either. I certainly wont again.

Hi pages electricity is a total scam , they promise a 20% saving , convert your account to them then 6 months later say you don’t qualify for the discount stating they asked for bills which hadn’t been posted from previous supplier during the changeover period .
Steer clear of them .

Responsive, work gets done quickly

Hired a l tradesman through this website. The tradesman’s ABN was registered, however the business name was not registered.
HiPages has a duty of care to ensure those advertising are who they say they are to protect the consumer. IT IS ILLEGAL IN QUEENSLAND TO TRADE WITHOUT A BUSINESS NAME, if you are trading under anything other than your legal given name. The tradesman spray painted my fence, he didn’t powder coat it and now 6 months later paint is peeling off and I cannot go to ASIC to get the guys details to serve him QCAT papers.

As expected honest and reliable some thing that is hard to find this days that's all I want from a service any extras its a bonus 😀

Hipages is a total scam. They bleed tradies dry — charging for cancelled leads that never turn into real jobs. You pay upfront and get nothing but excuses when you ask for help.
Everywhere you look, it’s the same story — pages of 1-star reviews from other tradies saying exactly the same thing.
This company doesn’t support small businesses — they use us to line their pockets. I’ll never recommend hipages to anyone, and I’ll be exposing all their dodgy practices.
