I felt totally relaxed with everything. The atmosphere was so tranquil. The staff brilliant.

Everyone was so helpful and caring and because of that my sisters and my experience was so positive and less stressful

Thank you for making a difficult process easier and 'holding my hand' throughout. I experienced kindness and compassion in all interactions from every team member I dealt with, and you were always responsive to my queries - no matter how small.
Mum's burial was conducted with both professionalism and care. The meadow where she lays is tranquil and - perhaps oddly - a pleasure to visit. I look forward to coming back to tend her plot, and to see her tree grow once it is planted. I am so very grateful that we were able to lay Mum to rest in such a peaceful and welcoming setting, and that we were allowed to gather freely by her graveside after the burial in the sunshine to lay flowers, play favourite songs, and to say our farewells privately and without the confines of a formal service. Thank you.

The team were very sensitive and always responded to all of our queries in a timely fashion. The service was exactly as we asked and with extra value added based on good Hinton Park staff experience.

All the members of staff at Hinton Woodlands were friendly, helpful and supportive throughout. Particular thanks to Rob Carey who had such care and compassion and went above and beyond to make the whole funeral exactly according to our wishes. Everything went perfectly. Claire Bishop as Celebrant was a great choice for us. The grounds are beautiful, calm and peaceful and a very special place for someone to be laid at rest. I'd highly recommend Hinton Woodlands without reservation.

I was treated with the most utter respect, kindness along with Dignity throughout the arrangements being made to enable the interring of my loved one.

Emma and all the staff at Woodland Burial Ground were very helpful and supportive whilst we organised my husband's funeral. The service, flowers and music were lovely and we received many complimentary remarks about the service and the Woodland Burial Ground.

In our recent dealing with Hinton Park I can only praise Katie and the staff for the respectful and pleasant way they dealt with us and talked us through what is a very sad time for family and friend’s.

We had a very nice lady who oversaw our funeral. She was sympathetic and empathetic but not in a condescending way. She gave us time to choose things and when it came to changing things at a later date, it was not to much trouble for her.

My 1st review which was invited by Hinton Park Burial Ground was removed even though it was a true reflection of my Mothers funeral service on April 5th 2024.
Unfortunately for us I am still waiting for a formal written response to my written complaint which was recieved by them on 12th April 2024 providing written evidence highlighting the lack of leadership during our funeral directors sick leave.
The service we recieved did not match what was discussed and agreed upon initially.
Whilst appreciating sick leave cannot be helped it is a standard practice within a Duty of Care to allocate another staff member to cover that families case load to continue with the organisation of the service and fulfill their written obligations up to, during and after the funeral service.
It was during my Mums funeral service that we were informed that the tribute photo slideshow would not be available as the photos I sent 8 days prior had not been forwarded due to our funeral directors absence, this resulted in the service being paused to retrieve our own ipad from our car to download our own photos to view - this was supposed to be a quiet, private, emotional moment to reflect on precious memories not running around frantically trying to organise it ourselves - it was also after my Mums funeral service we discovered that the Order of Service booklet had been amended without my consent / knowledge to include a private, personal email I would never have consented to in full, this was our 'keepsake' its all you have left its something you can reflect on - I cant bear to look at it now.
Had we been allocated another staff member during that time of absence these problems could have been avoided but no staff cover was provided no further support was offered meaning the service being prepared, unbeknown to me, was simply left as it was with no communication, no proofs being sent, no thought of the consequences nor the feelings of others
Im extremely disappointed that in spite of the issues raised, the paper chain I provided to simplify their investigations and the request that this be formally dealt with only in writing continues to be overlooked, its such a shame given apart from all this all the staff appeared to be friendly, professional and the service provided, although not in its entirety, was simply beautiful in such a peaceful place

* To update my last written communication with Alex, prior to his annual leave, was on 3rd May 2024 in which I was informed a Summary of the investigation will be made available AFTER discussions take place over the phone, this is in spite of me requesting on more than one occasion any future communication be made via email in order to have a written record of these events which appear to be taking longer than is nesessary

The staff made this a very easy/pleasant experience from beginning to end.

We were made at ease with Katie who was so kind caring and professional in her attitude to dealing with the loss of Glen,in arranging everything to do for the berial we were very grateful and cannot thank her enough for making a very memorable day.

The Burial ground is Horrendously flooded!!!

My Grandma is buried here.

So many negative reviews on here saying the same and the 5star reviews seem to be fake and false.

Deeply disturbing.

Sad to say wellington boots are a must. They should be supplied.

It is dangerous.

Nothing in place for safety measures.

I am also in agreement with Adi review on left here 05/04/24, lack of leadership.

.. such a beautiful service in beautiful surroundings but unfortunately due to our funeral directors sickness we were not informed (nor updated, nor allocated another funeral director) of the photographic reflection slideshow not being prepared in time untill after we were all seated for the service, we had to pause the service to download our own photos onto our own device and gather around our own ipad to view during what should have been a private moment to quietly reflect on all those precious moments...
we were also not sent final proofs of the Order of Service which wasnt presented/printed as we had hoped for, this is no reflection on the staff personally as they were all very kind but a poor reflection of the management of those staff who are responsible for clients being left unsupported, whilst vulnerable, in grief not knowing any problems exist untill during the actual service, had we been allocated another staff member to take over during this absence we could have resolved any issues between 28 March - 5 April 2024 when these issues were arising but without our knowledge and due to a complete lack of communication the service we had hoped for has left us all feeling saddened...
we are awaiting a response to our written complaint as the services lacked what was initially agreed and paid for, its all very sad as we can not recify now all that was wrong given the funeral of our loved one was already taking place at the time these issues became apparrent.

Everything was good from start to finish.

Helen Barrington was perfect for our small personal family gathering. Also the funeral directors were so kind and friendly made it so special.

The atmosphere and staff were great...calm, kind, considerate and respectful in the beautiful surroundings of Woodlands. My dad had his service here last week and it was lovely. The staff and celebrant Claire were perfect. Dad would have been proud.

We could not have wished for a better group of people to see us through this very difficult time. From my initial phone call they were professional and caring, helpful and reassuring. Thank you.

Absolutely terrible, surprised there’s any good reviews. Badly flooded, gardens un kept, flooding never resolved no matter how much I ask. I visit my uncle once a week which is impossible due to it being water logged, constantly told for months drainage measures would be put in and nothing! Seems like lies as it’s not hard to secure a drainage company and get this sorted when they have been paid thousands by grieving family’s! Grounds people rude and unhelpful, staff the same. Doesn’t look anything like it does online now or in brochure. All a CON AVIOD AVIOD AVIOD. Don’t let yourself be ripped off by this horrendous burial site. Absolute joke.
